The plane of neutrality, separate from the realms of good and evil. Light and dark have no sway over its denizens and have no power whatsoever within its walls.
Everything that is thought of as normal does not exist within this realm, nor does anything that is considered unusual. For this realm holds all that is bizarre and unexplainable, incapable of being understood, and, most of the time, incapable of even being seen.
It is hard to stave off the madness from the moment your eyes first open on this plane. But who can say if you were not truly mad in the first place? There is no such thing as right or wrong, good or bad, normal or unusual, and there is certainly no such thing as sane.
If you dare to enter this plane, be forewarned O traveler: You will not escape unscathed. There are forces that exist here far beyond the scope of imagination, far beyond the strength of the most powerful god, far beyond the understanding of the Book of the Unknown.
You are in neutrality now. And nothing shall ever be the same...

Silver drifted through emptiness. There was nothing for him and there was nothing around him. No sensations assailed him, he could feel nothing. No thoughts entered his mind, he could think of nothing. A shell floating through an emptiness so vast that it could be called limitless.
Maybe he had gone mad? He wasn't entirely sure. All senses had been devoid from him long ago and his mental faculties hadn't lasted long after that. The Unfinished Plane was nothing and it was the nothing that he could not stand. He would have laughed if he could, but he felt nothing.
Nothing, nothing at all. Empty, empty all around. No point...to anything.
Silver! An urgent voice spoke into his mind, painfully even. A road! With these three words spoken, the presence left. The words made him stir and think of a flat road stretching to the horizon.
The moment he thought of this, he felt something underneath his feet. The touch was light, almost as if he was floating above it. No...gravity? His mind lazily thought out the words. The instant the word gravity touched his mind, he felt his weight flow back into his body.
It was crushing almost, to go from weighing nothing to something. Eyes open? Closed?...open... He wasn't sure if he had had his eyes open in the first place or not, but he could now see. He was standing on a road, just like the one he had pictured. Surrounding him was the nothing.

Silver collapsed to his knees, feeling his own breathing and the blood rushing through his body. He could feel again and he could hear his hand scraping across the road beneath him. Thanks be...I am still sane. The idea that he hadn't been had originated from somewhere, but he wasn't sure.
Everything within this realm was twisted and it also twisted the mind. If you didn't stay focused, then it was possible for your mind to detach itself and gently drift away. It was possible for your body to become insubstantial and no longer exist, not in any sense of the word. He wasn't sure just how he knew these things, but he knew them nonetheless.
Groaning as he rose to his feet, Silver tried to keep his gaze from looking to the left or the right, anything other than the road beneath him. Looking anywhere else could lead one to madness. If only there were trees or something...
A tree popped into existence right next to him and then another. And another. And another, on and on down the length of the road, until boughs were outstretched and hung down over the road. This blocked out the sight of the hated nothing and Silver was able to breath easier.
It was then that a realization came to mind. Quite literally, in fact. Everything that had been created came about because he had thought about it. Perhaps, just perhaps, the Unfinished Plane was a psychic one.

Silver pondered on what it meant if this was a psychic plane. It made much more sense than anything else and it would boost Alluvian's powers enough that he could break though mentally...supposedly at least. Even so...Silver wasn't a psychic and he wasn't entirely sure how things worked for him.
When the limits were close to limitless...it is hard to actually think about what one should do. This was the predicament that Silver found himself in. He could think of close to anything and it would probably happen, but...what did he want them. Something immediately came to mind. Loryt...Naltan...
There was a flash of light that forced Silver to shield his eyes. The backwash left him seeing spots for a few seconds. Once his vision had cleared, he looked up to see the bodies of the people he had been thinking about right in front of him. They seemed to be in the same state that he had been in before realization had occurred.
"Both of you...I need you to think of two words for me. Two simple words. Gravity and open."

The instant both of them thought of those words, they fell to the ground in a heap. Groaning much like Silver had, they both sat up, shaking their heads. They looked around them with newly opened eyes and then settled confused expressions on Silver.
"Thank you for getting us out of that...It felt like we were fading away," Loryt said with a smile.
"Yes...this place is quite dangerous, isn't it?" Naltan said rhetorically. Helping Loryt get to her feet as he did, he looked around at the trees and the road, "So this is the Unfinished Plane..."
Loryt closed her eyes and began to shake slightly, "Everything is psychic here...there are gigantic vibrations from nearly every direction. We'd better stay away from anything that resides here. I have the feeling that we are dealing with powers that we can't even begin to understand..."

Silver already knew what the next step would be, it was quite obvious from everything that had happened. "No problem, you guys, i'm just glad that everyone is alright. And don't worry...we won't be going anywhere. Everything can be done from here if i'm not mistaken."
With a cryptic smile, he closed his eyes. Alluvian... he mentally projected outwards, feeling that he might have to go a much farther distance this time. The results were drastically different from what he imagined would happen.
The world seemed to jerk sideways and everything became deformed for a moment before everything snapped back to the way it was in an instant, with the exception that they were now all on the ground.
"Okay...maybe not that easy then..." Silver whispered as he tried to stand, "We might have to actually take ourselves to him. That way we can bypass having to walk...if there is any such thing as direction in this place."

Both of them were shaking their heads as they got up once more. "I have a bad feeling about this, but I suppose we have no other choice," Loryt said, her eyes glazed as she kept psychic watch, "If we want to find Lord Alluvian, then we must take chances in this matter. It does not matter what enemies we face, we must win."
Naltan looked away from Loryt and over to Silver, "Go ahead and try. If that doesn't work, then we'll just have to try something else."

Silver nodded and took a deep breath as he prepared himself, "Here we go..." He mentally pictured himself next to Alluvian, hoping that would be enough to transport them.
The world seemed to go runny around them, the trees melting away and the road cracking away into nothing. A sensation of movement came to them, though no real hint of movement could be seen.
Silver felt them approaching their goal. He wasn't sure how he knew that, but he knew that he did.
Suddenly, the wrenching movement returned and the three of them were flung apart from each other.
"Who dares trespass in this realm?!" A presence stood between Silver and his two companions. It size was unfathomable and its power incalculable. The shadow fell over him and he felt the presence's attention directed at him.
"You..." Crushing pressure filled Silver's skull as he was psychically attacked over and over. It felt like his body was being systematically destroyed and he felt his co0nsciousness leaving. A scream issued from him mouth as all his pain receptors fired in unison.

Loryt and Naltan looked on in horror at the creature before them, Loryt even more so. With her psychic powers, she could partially see the true form of the creature in front of them and it horrified her. But...she couldn't just let it kill Silver.
Channeling a psychic blast, she hurled it at the "back" of the presence in front of her. The creature shrugged off the power as if it was nothing and Loryt collapsed to her knees. There was nothing she could do to help Silver and she squeezed her eyes shut as she heard him begin to scream.

Silver felt his spirit begin to wane before the onslaught of the presence. If he died here, what would happen to him? These thoughts and more flashed through his mind, no longer connected to his body at all.
S's power flared inside of him for an instant. The trip through the portal had disorientated him and it took this length of time to come under control again. His power, however, was nothing against the creature before them. I'm sorry, my friend...
Silver's eyes were still open during this period and he was looking straight ahead, which was toward Naltan and Loryt, coincidentally. Seeing their horrified faces, a pang of regret tore through him. Regret that he had failed completely on his mission.
Just before his mind shut down, he thought he saw a light appear behind Naltan and Loryt. But that was just his imagination...right?
