[PRP]My, My, My (Taylor and Ardin)

Taylor walked numbly through the forest. She was highly bored and the Holiday season was not her thing. Everyone was just too cheery and caught up in other things and she felt left out and ignored. Not that she didn't feel that way most of the time but it was worse around this time of the year. It was all too much cheer for her and to think about it Valentine's Day was the same. It made her want to gag.

With winter now upon the land, Ardin was in a surprisingly good mood. The flowers that had bugged him throughout his youth were now dead from the cold, not knowing they'd be back in full force in spring, since he was not even close to a year old. He rolled about in the snow, covering his petal adorned coat with the fluffy snow. As he stood up, most of it fell off, leaving him cold and only partly white. No matter, with no flowers in sight, he was perfectly happy. Slowly he began to trot into the forest, to see if there might be any berries untouched by the snow, or if there was anyone interesting. It wasn't long before heard the crunching of snow under another set of hooves.

The brown mare was too busy with her own musings to notice the sound of anothers hooves approaching. It was too cold, it was too cheery and she was being miserable cause no one was hanging out with her. Sighing, she continued on through the forest, unaware of anothers approach.

After slowing to a walk, he heard it the hoofbeats coming towards him. Once he had his bearings, he began trotting towards the hoofbeats, hoping the one that made them was friendly, or at the very least, not something that would try to kill him. But it didn't matter that much, he could fight, and he could run, and he wasn't going to let it get his spirits down. "Hello." He called out, peering through the trees trying to see who it was.

The brown and blue mare stopp abruptly at the sound of a voice. She felt rather stupid as she always zoned out when she was alone and knew that she should pay better attention to her surroundings. Looking about she tried to see if she could find the source of the voice and determine whether or not it was friend or foe. "Yeah?" she called back none too sure of how to answer.

After several moments, he soon spotted the brown and blue mare, from between two trees. He trotted towards her, stopping a short ways from her, as to not frighten her by his sudden apperance. "Hello." He said again, now that he could see her.

She watched as a rather differently colored stallion stepped out from between two trees. His mane and tail reminded her of a brightly colored bird and then his coat was adorned with flower petals. Strange but also somewhat exciting at the same time. Just what she needed, someone interesting to get rid of her boredom. "Hello there." she replied in short and then gave him a grin.

"I am Ardin, who are you?" He replied, grinning back. Then shook off some of the remaining snow on his coat, since his rump was starting to go numb. Now that he could see her up close, one of the first things he noticed, were her blue hooves, quite odd against her brown legs.

The brown mare also shook off the snow that was starting to gather slightly on her coat, as it was beginning to snow again. Wretched stuff as it was, she was ignoring for the time being as there was someone who was more interesting than complaining about the snow. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Ardin. My name is Taylor." she said with a wink and a smile. No reason not to flirt a little, it never hurt anyone before.

He simply smiled back, as he side-stepped under an ever-green. Oblivious to the fact that while it would shade him for the time being, that it's branches and needles were laden with snow, the slightest breeze would send the lot of it down onto him. "Nice to meet you too." He added, before shaking the snow from his brightly-colored mane.
