 Another snowflake flutter dangerously near Kanti's face. She was tempted to n** at it as she had done to the others, but instead decided to save it poor soul. At least it could flutter to the ground and live a little longer before it melted away into a puddle right?
Kanti gave a shake of her head, her beads ringing with a joyous tune. It was clear and crisp winter day, or at least how she wanted to describe it. Truth to be told it was a chilly winter's day with grey skies hanging close the white ground. She couldn't have helped but feel a little sorrow seeping into her heart, it had been almsot three days since she had seen the warm sun. Even though she loved the snow, she wanted to let the warm rays seep over her back warming her body from the everlasting chill she could feel from the snow.
How much longer would the clouds hang in the sky?
Kanti shook her head again, her blue eyes gazing at the grey skies looking for hope of a ray...

Dustin flew through the chilly air on this cold winter day. He wasn't in any particular hurry and wasn't in any particular mood. With the coming of the Holidays, the black winged stallion wasn't too much into it all. To him it was all just another day of the year, another month passing by. He never had any reason to celebrate like everyone else.
So now he was spending his time flying, which was rather hard as the weather wasn't at all too pleasant and with that he decided maybe he should land and walk for a little while.

As she watched the sky she noticed a figure sweeping across. It was black with color and maybe a hint of red?
She couldn't tell maybe it was another soquili? It would be amusing to meet another winged soquili, it was rare for her to come across them let alone to actually chat to one. She couldn't help but feel a little envious of their wings, being able to dart back and forth from the skies, what fun someone could have.
She looked back at the sky watching him, maybe he would land if he saw her. But where were the chances of that? Maybe she could yell, no that would make her feel somewhat stupid...

In fact the black stallion hadn't seen her as he started his decent. He actually hadn't looked upon the ground at all which was most likely not the brightest idea as he could land on top of someone if he wasn't careful. But before he made it too far down he looked and noticed her there watching him.

He was coming down! Maybe he had seen her... or either that he was landing without looking... in which probably wasn't the best idea in the world Kanti thought as she watched him.
She gave him a nod of her head, hoping that maybe he would see it, before she moved a little to her right.
The last thing she wanted was for him to land and crash into her, what a painful thought....

He flashed her a sly grin at her nod and tried to make himself look even more spectacular in his landing, spreading his wings out wide as his feet connected with the ground with a soft thud. He then flapped them a few times for good meassure, making his feather ruffle before folding the massive wings neatly and compactly on his back. He gave a yawn and tossed his head as if it was nothing to land in such a fashion, playing up the attention the mare was giving him. It had been quite a while since he had seen a mare and even longer since he had flirted and he was about due for it.

Kanti's blue eyes watched in awe as he landed in front of her. But she didn't let the expression hold too much on her face. She knew better than to give him the right to brag about his wings that he fluttered infront of her now.
With her luck he was probably showing off...
But she was enjoying herself either way.
"Well hello," she replied a small coy grin spreading across her face.

The black stallion grinned even wider as she spoke to him. By the expression on her face he knew that she wasn't a mare who was going to let him get away with showing off. If there was one thing that he had learned through the years it was how to appoarch mares. Some you could get away with being all flashy and showy and others wouldn't stand for it. That was a lesson he had learned with one particular mare who actually came after him cause she thought he was looking at her the wrong way. It wasn't pleasant.
"Why hello to you too, Miss." he said and gave her a slight bow of his head. "Nice day isn't it?" he commented even though he knew full well that it wasn't too much of a nice day.
