Cordain adjusted his shirt a bit and muttered before he slumped down into one of the plush arm chairs. He did this for his son's sake. For some reason Halcyon was fascinated with the idea of a party with other scroll children so he invited the ones he knew and could think of inviting, as well as well as their guardians.

Halcyon adjusted his clothes, he wore a long sleeved shirt that went just past his wrists, as well as a short sleeved button up shirt over it. The long sleeved one was black, the button up was a blue and white plaid. Otherwise he wore jeans and boots.

Cordain noted that his son seemed self-concious about his arms as of late, more so than the voices in his head. There was a smirk, Cordain was wondering now what this evening would hold with people finally arrived.

Alair, well... Alair didn't really have a good head for math. So he wasn't entirely sure how much a building cost... or even how much made a person 'rich'. But the building... it was pretty darn imposing. Particularly with the setting sun setting the windows on fire and bathing the brick in gold. The top of it stretched up so far that it nearly made his head spin.

"Is this....the right place?" he asked Luna slowly. He had happened across the moon scroll and her guardian on his trek from the bus station and been forcibly dragged along. Not that he really minded..

Alair shook his head, question answered inadvertantly by Papina. "It's huge.... " he finally answered Luna.

The front door to the hotel opened as the concierge stepped out, he read off the names of everyone invited and motioned for them to enter, "The masters are on the top floor, if you follow the bellhop, he will guide you to the masters special elevator."

True to the concierge's words, the bellhop bowed to them and guided any who followed to the elevator to Cordain's portion of the hotel, at the top.

Luna grinned at Alair, a mixture of glee and nervousness in her voice as she responded, "Yeah, it is, and yeah, it is."

She threw a huge grin back at Tobi and his mom. "It's the biggest I've seen so far," she commented when hearing Tobi's mom. She turned to nod at Tobi. "I was going to say 'awesome', but I think your 'wicked' sounds better."

She turned to face the doors when someone came out and tried to hide a gulp as she half-hid behind her sister.

Papina managed to hide any responses she might have had to the others, and she nodded to the person who told them to come in. "We were still waiting for two others, but we will go in now if you'll keep an eye out for them. One's an adult with a tail; she's also covered in buth fur and pink everything. The other looks pretty normal, but she has fins between her fingers. K?" And with that, she followed the bellboy. It helped to have been here before.

Luna's eyes got wide as she notice Tobi change shape when his arm was squeezed. Well, I guess that wax has to go somewhere if shifted... She then noticed her sister moving and almost leapt to keep up with her.

Alarai gulped as she looked up at the building. Why did she agree to go along? She knew it'd be high up, and she knew she had a thing about heights. Luckily, her attention was broken by the arrival of a concierge. She nodded abruptly before following her daughters in. Hopefully she wouldn't stand out too much in a dress. It was a bad sign when you needed your youngest daughter to help you pick out clothes...
At least Papina also took fashion advice from Luna...

Alair grinned back, pushing all nerves from his mind. He'd get to see Halycon again and his dad wouldn't be pushing him to go. Maybe he'd even get to see the teen's ride.

For a moment he hung back with the others but as Luna's sister began to move forward, Alair decided to as well. "Come on," He called back to Luna and the other boy.

Luna paused, allowing her sister to get ahead, and turned around to give Tobi a comforting grin. "Don't worry - it's my first time here also." She turned to the sound of Alair's voice, squeaked, and responded with, "I'm coming!" She turned back to Tobi. "Let's go!" She grabbed his hand and tugged him towards the elevator.

Papina waited in the elevator quietly on the long ride up. Her face lit up as the doors open and she grinned at the two waiting for them. "Hey Cordain, Halcyon. I hope you two don't mind me bringing some others along with my family." She stepped out of the elevator and took a moment to look around again. She could come here several times and never see everything. She did follow Halcyon when he guided them to the main room and gave a small thanks as she wondered how he wasn't lost in all this. She then huddled close to him to whisper near his ear in a worried tone. "Halcyon. Do you know if Reign and Isdra are coming? I really hope they didn't get lost or stuck, because we were all suppose to arrive at the same time, and..." She faltered. Get a grip, girl! Her mother's paranoia was getting to her. Now she was starting to see Templar plots everywhere... She pinched the bridge of her nose as she put herself back together. "I really need to smack my mother for installing this false sense of fear into me," she muttered to herself, just within Halcyon's hearing range.

Luna was bored all the way up. Her eyes went wide and her jaw dropped, however, when the doors opened. She carefully stepped out, almost hurting her neck as she tried to look everywhere at once. She knew she was gawking, but she really, really couldn't help it. I really need to find a boyfriend of my own like this. She did manage to follow her sister into a room, where there was a table of food. She wondered if there was anything good to eat on it.

Alarai felt nervous on the way up. She hoped she didn't look nervous, since a parent wasn't suppose to be nervous when their kids obviously weren't. She didn't manage to completely hide a small gasp as the doors open. Just what kind of people was her daughter seeing??! She did manage to keep enough wits to follow Halcyon to a room clearly meant to hold the guests. Now what had that tall dark one say when they came in? Oh yes. Something about no going pass the bathrooms down the hall - she was going to have to ask where those where - and there was a tree garden and swimming areas outside. Right. At least there was only so far her daughters could go. She felt confident she could find them if needed.

Kat blanched as they stepped into the evivator and felt rather faint. She squeesed her eyes shut until they came to a stop. She looked around and her eyes caught sight of Cordain-- That... That's adarkelf?! Kat grabbed Tobi's shoulder before he could go anywhere and muttered a hurried, "Tobi! That's a dark elf..." But the rest of her sentence was cut off as his greatings to Alarai caught her ears. She flustered and gave him a quick glance/gare. Catching herself she reddend furiously and hopped that this 'elf' had no problems with 'Tree dwellers'. She schooled herself together and straightened her shoulders. The thought she was so high up temperarly forgotten.

Tobi lurched as Luna grabbed him, half from the shock of sudden movement half of the pure fact he wished not to lose his arm. He tried to cram himself in beside Luna partly for comfort but mostly to try rid himself of his mothers continus urge to sqeeze his arm to death. When the doors finnaly oppened he made to make his way out when he was grabbed by his mum. He gawped at her for a moment and when shelet go, dashed after Luna. He came to an abrupt stop and stared around. "Wow." His eyes searched every part of the area. He'd temperaraly forgotten to seek out the two 'hosts' and thank them. Who cared what his mum would say about who he talked to. He looked around aprehencivly, expecting some of those people you see in movies--Waiters? Or something like them, come around to take jackets and coats and to hand out-- Ontrays? Or what ever you called 'em.

Tobi shrugged, "I dunno, I didnt see where he went." His eyes grew wide at the thought, "You mean, explore this place?" His voice was in awe, to have the privaledge of coming here tonight was getting better and better... To explore this... This palace of a place? A giant smirk crossed his face and he threw his arms out in a gesture of fun, "Sure, lets go! He cant have gotten to far. This would be like hide and seek I used to play with my brother- Umm yeah..." His eyes darted around to find something else to talk about as he made his way with Luna in the search/exploration.
