Battlefield...RANDOMIZER! >O
The screen towering above the stadiums' bleachers began to rotate clockwise to determine what field the pokemon would fight on. Anticipation began to build as the dial began to slow down...
Finally, it came to a complete stop.
The field of choice was....THE FIRE FIELD!
A series of thick rock pillars, all different sizes of height, reach towards the stadium ceiling from a pool of hot lava. While there is a fire-proof net far below to catch any pokemon that falls off the platforms, the rock pillars themselves are very hot to touch. They can cause burns if your pokemon stand still for a set period of time. The air around the field is very heavy from the extreme heat.

Naomi streched her arms, the mid morning battle had seemed to excite her so much that she refused to get sleep last night. Trailing behind her stood Ebba, trotting after her like a obidient partner. "C'mon Ebba, battle time!" Naomi called.
A loud snort escaped from Ebba's nose as he rushed into battle. "Stant, Stantler!" he called before him to his opponent.
"Hello there! This is sort of my second battle...But that doesn't mean I will go easy on you!" Naomi called to her opponent. "I hope you give it your all!"

"Hello!" Luna replied, clinging onto Prince. She gave a silent signal to descend and tilt over.
Prince swooped down towards the trainer box, starting his tilt a good few meters away. Timing was crucial. Of course, they had practiced this so many times, it was near natural.
Luna easily dropped down from Prince's back and onto the designated trainer's box where the heat was at it's coolest. "I'm Luna, future elite four and champion. I always give it my all!" She declared.
Prince ascended into the air once again, the hot drafts of wind causing him to soar higher and higher. "Geoooooooooooooooo!" He shouted, his battlecry.
"And this is Prince~my pidgeot!" Luna added cheerfully.

Naomi just stared in awe. She never had seen a pokemon that experienced before, nor a trainer that willfully calm enter into battle. She was jittery herself, but her Pokemon just seemed to be thinking, "Let's get this over with." She stared, and pushed back the hair that fel on her face and called, "I'm..Naomi! Future..uh...Breeder and uh...Let's Begin! Ebba use Hidden Power!"
Ebba stared awkwardly at the Pigeot, then followed the command and pulsed his body with energy. He then released it and shot it up toward the direction where Prince had flew. He thought his accuracy was well...accurate, and hoped it would hit.

Luna laughed. "That sounds like a plan!" She complimented the other trainer quickly before turning her full focus to the battle. She saw energy headed for Prince. Uh-oh, that didn't look so good. She didn't want to risk winds, incase energy didn't affect the laws of science...which in the pokemon world was very possible. Oh well. She'd have to fight energy with energy! "Brave bird!"
Prince dove in towards the ball of energy, beak first. He started to pulse with energy himself, glowing brighter and brighter as he pierced through Ebbas attack, taking minimum damage from his own energy coat.
But it didn't stop there. He swooped down to Ebba and just as it looked like he was about to run into the stanler, he veered upwards in a 90 degree angle. The catch was, the energy that had coated him had stayed in his former place and continued to head at Ebba's face.

Even for a brief moment, Ebba couldn't tell what in the world happened. The speed of the Pidgeot was blinding, and Ebba could tell it was experienced. The jolt he had sent before it him face on, and it cackled and burned on his face. He retracted a little from the jolt, but held his might ahead.
Naomi called to her partner, "Ebba uses Horn Attack!"
Ebba obeyed and jump into the air, thrusting his horns forward in front of him, and jeered to get a hit.

"The sky is OUR territory!" Luna shouted to the other trainer. She knew as long as Prince was airborn, they would hold an advantage over the other pokemon. "Twister!"
Prince started to twist while flying upwards, only getting a small cut from the horn attack thanks to his speedy evasion method. The winds caused by his twisting slowly formed into a twister.
The large bird continued to fly upwards to break free of his own attack, but down below, winds raged around Ebba, threatening to cut her with their fury.

"Well, let's bring you to the ground!" Naomi shouted back, "Ebba use Thunder Wave!"
Ebba twitched his horns at the command of Naomi, and small yellow rays softened and emerged from his horns. They swooped in all directions, would they hit?
Naomi analyzed the Pidgeot fairly. She came to guess it was greatly trained, it appeared to be the "King of the Wind" rather than Prince in her opinion. Staring at it again, she wondered if the flying Pokemon's wonderful down could resist the attack.

Prince attempted to veer through the crazy array of thunder, avoiding the hits for quite a while before being brought to the ground, electricity cackling around him.
"Prince!" Luna shouted, fighting the urge to check on her pokemon. This is baaaaaad. Bad bad bad. Gah. Hold on Prince! She thought in her mind, biting her bottom lip as she waited for her opponent to make her next move. We'll definately make it through! "Try a refresh!"

Naomi watched the struggle of the Pidgeot from her Trainer Square, and quickly looked at Ebba one more time. She couldn't waste the her turn by waiting and watching, so she took her move. "Ebba, now use Slam!"
Ebba ran toward the flying Pokemon, thrusting all his body weight in front of him to get a him.

((Whoa...just realized I screwed up mucho on my HP count xD;; *FIXFIX* ))
"Keep trying Prince!" Luna shouted, her heart beating fast. Luna concluded that status conditions always sucked when she saw Prince slowly roll over on the ground, but recieved a fairly painful smash on an outstretched part of his wing that was made even more painful by the hot smoldering ground.
All the while, Prince shouted weakly in pain - "Geoooooo..." - while trying to rid himself of his status condition once more. His body started to glow once again, slightly battered under the stanler that was looming over him.

Naomi held her fists tight in front of her as she called to Ebba, "Ebba, c'mon now! Quickly! Attack Prince before he is able to recover! Hidden Power!"
Ebba's body glowed as he pulsed with energy. Again, his body pulsed with energy as he tried his best to surge it well. Finally, the energy was suppressed enough as it went flying in all directions. "Stant!" Ebba huffed as he released the energy.
"C'mon!" Naomi shouted to Ebba. "Release everything you got!"
