I can't get it for this year but I want to get a dress that is a little bit festive. If I just wear black and white my mom will kill me. Can you send me some ideas on Christmas dresses?

Wal-Mart always has nice stuff. Plus, it is very simple to turn a regular dress loli with the right accessories. ^_^

Or, do you sew? Making a simple red loli dress is easy! Here's a tutorial heart :

It took me only a day to make. It's very easy. I hope I helped! smile

Wear a red and white dress~ There are tons. The meta lucky pack from last year had a cute one, you can probably get one cheap on EGL on LJ.

2Pennies: WalMart? I'm sorry, honey. What are you on?

To the OP: Go with something white and red or in red plaid with white trim.

Yeah, believe it or not, Wal-Mart actually has some nice stuff every once in a while. Although, I have noticed that store items seem to vary from place to place, but I have bought many pieces of clothes from Wally World that are loli-friendly with a simple touch up or two, which takes about 15 minuets or so, depending on your skill with a sewing machine.

OMG I have the perfect festive combo.

Its actually red and black but once you hear my description it will make more sense

at AE (american eagle), there was this strapless red plaid dress. Its pretty christmas festive itself, but when i saw it, i had other ideas.

You can wear a cute red turtuleneck or just regular longsleeve shirt under, or wear a cute frill blouse and make it lolita <3

I have actually lolita boots so it wouldve gone perfect but they didnt have it in my size (2) so i was kinda sad sad

Maybe our WalMarts are carrying different stock, then. The only clothing I've bought from WalMart were things you'd find elsewhere anyway--like socks or a t-shirt. I've never encountered clothing that was lolita friendly, even with modification, in my WalMart.

Yeah I know it was hard to believe.
Actually it was the way the dress was made and the combo that was put on the doll in display. Then again ^^lll I knew one of the people working there and shes my friend who also love lolita so you can imagine that she put the combo together to make it look more loli ^^lll

The cut of the dress and the shape was just like that of a lolita dress. the skirt part of the dress starts above the waist just below the ribsand it ends barely above the knee. Its a red plaid dress. Ive seen some lolis put even a simple black longsleeve shirt (other shirts sometimes are a bit more elaborate.) Also AE has those uber warm wool jackets/sweaters so texture wise, it was a good combination.

Nice. Dont get me wrong, I like all the sweet lolis, but my personal preference would be something thats a bit more mature and graceful, rather than cute and clutzy (although elegant and sweet)
