Anyways as it already be said, your more of a stereotype. Alot of them seem to think we're all religious.

I'm not religious, I'm for the death Penalty in certain cases, and I still believe this whole global warming is a bunch of crap (of course the world heats up abit after a few hundred years, doesn't mean we're going to die anytime soon from it and it has more to do with nature, not people).

So this means I will be ignored in debates?

Actually, the worst pro-choicers will ignore everyone who doesn't agree with them. If you make a good point, they'll pretend they didn't see it, and if you say something stupid, they'll laugh about it for years. Like if you call an orange a vegetable. blaugh

Though I will comment on something. No one's going to listen to you if you call them the enemy. They're also not going to listen if you call them pro-abortion. I know that's technically correct because it means supporting the legalization of abortion, but it annoys people. There is a practical reason to be sensitive to the feelings of other people, and that is because otherwise, why should they respect you? Why should they listen to you? It creates a loop where you end up preaching to the choir because no one else will listen. You won't like hearing anti-choice (you will though). You might brush it off, but it's frustrating when you try to make a point and are greeted with disrespect. Why do it to someone else? I know that's not your intention, but it offends them, and it's good to avoid not to be PC but just for the sake of cooperation. Without cooperation, a debate is pointless in a place like Gaia where there's no one judging and moderating debates.

Most people who are pro-choice see legalized abortion as the lesser of two evils. They want to help people. That's a noble goal, worth respect.

You know what is the nightmare though? You're smart, and you have the potential to be a good debater. You strike me as someone who can hold her own, and that is formidable to people who don't want debate, they want to win at all costs so they can validate their stances to themselves. There aren't many people like this, but there are some. They'll rip you apart at all costs, so be prepared for that, but you can hold you own.

@ Zin: Psh, they laugh for years if you do something like call an orange a vegetable? I'd NEVER EVER EVER do that! In my defense, I never, ever brought her name into it. It was just one of those moments in life where I had to laugh because of the way she said it, like I was a complete idiot for thinking an orange was a fruit.

I don't see you as the pro-choice nightmare. You're just someone they would love to pick on, because of your religion. A lot of them see religion as irrational, and not a good reason to believe in anything.

The pro-choice nightmare, I think is someone who sees that all the arguments and all the things that pro-choicers use to justify abortion, are simply the same ones that are used to justify killing everyone.

When you think that a person doesn't matter, you can do anything to it. And the more you highlight the importance of that being, the more vitriolic they get, because you're putting a "useless" fetus on the same level as a grown woman.

So really, we're all the pro-choice nightmare. We're trying to take away their abortion, and, hence, their idea of what sexual freedom should be. (That is, sex without necessary procreation. Forever, if wanted.)

They'll attack your views on sex, then your views on religion, then your views on how humanity works.

They will tear you to pieces and not for one second give you any form of respect or common dignity, because to them, you are the ultimate ignorant enemy.
