Hesperos paced around impatiently. He wondered where Ghost and the other little foals were. So far, being a parent was definitely more difficult then he thought but he was really enjoying it. Everhart was something different and something he didn't expect but he was proud of all of his foals no matter who they were. Watching his foals bounce around in the snow made him feel so happy because he knew that they were healthy and he hoped that they were enjoying their childhood as much as he was.
Everhart was actually frolicking in the snow as of now. He was used to his family so he wasn't as shy as he was around strangers. He was still considerably a lot more distant than his father and mother but he was content knowing that they didn't think of him any differently. He gazed around at the forest wondering where the rest of his family was.

Porsche spotted her brothers and father instantly, and she ran as fast as she could to get their attention. "Sorry for the wait, here we are!" she then yelled, and she wagged her tail as she danced towards them. As usual, her energy level was at its highest, and she stopped once she was by her blue brother's side. "Playing in the snow without me, Everhart? Shame on you!" Her expression was giggly and cute, and she pounced away from her brother and rolled off into some fresh snow. She was going to play a joke and run into Daemon, but she didn't want to hurt him too much! It was more fun relaxing with them in the snow, since it had recently fallen and it was still soft and fresh.
Ghost shook her head in a laugh as she watched her daughter speed away from her. Porsche was always so high strung, but it made the mother very proud for some reason. All of her children were so unique, and that added on to her pride! Once Ghost had also arrived, she trotted up next to Hesperos and turned to watch the children who were playing. "I hope you weren't waiting long, you know how Porsche is, she always wants to go somewhere." The mare then looked towards her sons, and smiled dearly. "And how are the boys? They look as though they are getting bigger and stronger!"

Daemon smiled as his sister neared them. He was still a bit shy around his family, unsure of what to make of things. He was starting to warm up to them, especially his mother. He liked how he looked like her. His sister looked a lot like their father. He felt a little bad that Everhart came out such a unique color but he thought it somehow fit his brother.
He admired how she stood out against the snow. "Hi Porsche" he greeted, before playfully kicking a bit of snow at her. He really liked the snow, it was so soft, fun and cold. Of course, he hated how it hide the grass and made it harder to find something to eat but at least he had momma and papa to help out there.

Hesperos smiled back at the pair when he saw them coming. "Hello you two! It's alright Ghost, we weren't waiting for very long. They're doing really well actually! I'm so proud of all of them. They're all growing so fast." He chuckled happily. Fatherhood was definitely different then he expected but it was something that he would never change about his life. Ghost and his family were something in his life that he cherished and something that he would never trade the world for.
Everhart smiled weakly at the other two. He loved his family to death but whenever he was around them, he always questioned about if he was an accident or not because they were all so different from him. Or maybe it was just himself messing with his head... "Hello Porche. H-How are you?" He pawed at the snow covered ground curiously and then began observing his siblings and his parents.

Ghost also nodded, while nuzzling Hesperos' side softly. "Goodness.. they will be grown up before we know it! That would make us old, wouldn't it? I can't even imagine how our parents feel." The mare giggled lightly, before bringing her soft eyes on the children. "We might as well watch them and just enjoy the fun for now, and enjoy their youth with them." It was nice that all of the children got along so well, and it made Ghost feel comforted, rather then full of worry. "We really got lucky, I couldn't have asked for more perfect children."
Just as her mother was saying something sentimental and warm, Porsche was busy keeping her brothers busy! "Pfft, you can't hurt me that easily, Daemon!" With a large kick herself, she flung some snow at him, before looking over at Everhart. "OBVIOUSLY I am in a war right now, with Daemon. A snow war, with lots of battle and strife!" The filly flapped her wings wildly, before kicking small amounts of snow back at Daemon. "Everhart, who's side are you on? The goody two shoes pinks over there? Or the daaark sideee!?" With a fake snarl, Porsche put her face straight into Everhart's, and knocked her skull into his. "The decision is yours!" The filly, most definitely, was born with her mother's imagination, but mixed in was an added enthusiasm that created the strangest of scenarios! "Daemon, you best be fixing your attack plan, since I am easily countering you!" It was an imagination like this that kept the filly busy for hours! Her brothers were only helping with the fun.

He liked how the snow tickled. He had to shake his body to get some of the small clumps off. "It should be girls against boys," Daemon stated a bit stuck up, slightly insulted by his sister's words.
"We stallions have to stick together!" He puffed out his little chest with pride. Alright, so he wasn't a stallion yet.. but he would be one day! "So prepare to eat snow, Porsche!" He paused briefly to look at Everhart, "You will be on my side, right?" Would his brother be ashamed to side with him because of his colors? "You're gonna eat snow, Porsche! So much you are gonna turn white!"

Hesperos nodded and chuckled enthusiastically. "Seriously. Might as well enjoy it while we can. I find that I've learned a lot from them... about life... about myself and those around me... I wonder if that's what my parents felt when they had children." The stallion chuckled light-heartedly and nuzzled Ghost once more. "We did get really lucky."
Everhart had a troubled look on his face. He didn't want to hurt anybody's feelings and he just looked back and forth between his sister and his twin brother. "U-um." The poor little colt began to stutter as this life or death situation unraveled in front of him. "I don't know!" Everhart semi-yelled out and ran behind his mother. He frowned unhappily as he peered from behind his mother at the battling siblings; he didn't want to hurt anybody's feelings...

Porsche dropped her jaw at her brother's action, and she rolled her eyes before turning away from Daemon. "What the heck, Everhart?! We are just playing! I can understand if you don't want to play with us, but hurt our feelings? It was just a silly game of picking sides, who you picked would never bother us." The little filly, stared at her mother, and then her father, and then at her brothers again. She really didn't understand Everhart's action at all, and Porsche moved herself over to Daemon and leaned up against him lazily. "Did we do something bad, Daemon?" She then whispered, while wondering if this was a serious predicament. She then looked to her father, before dropping her eyes.
Just as Ghost was about to answer Hesperos, she felt one of her children stumble and hide behind her. "Oh my!" She lowered her eyes to see Everhart clinging to her side, and she looked over to the other children, and then back at her son. "Dear, are you alright?" Just then, she heard her daughter talking about some game they were playing, and the mother was still clueless and confused. It really was no matter, she just wanted her son to be alright and happy! "What's the matter, Everhart? Were your siblings mean to you?" From the look of things, that wasn't the case, but Ghost just wanted her child to speak and feel better.

Daemon felt bad. He hadn't meant to pressure his brother but he could see how he would have felt. It was no fun being in the middle. "I dunno," he replied to his sister's question. While what they did might not have been fair, it wasn't bad, was it? "Why don't we have a three way instead of teams," he offered. It was a fair compromise right? He had been watching from a ways behind for awhile now, taking it all in. His baby girl had grown up and now he was staring at her own little family. His grandkids. They were all gorgeous. "I could always team up with Everhart," he stated from behind before joining over to nuzzle his daughter. "Looking beautiful as always, Ghost. Motherhood brings a glow about you. It's charming." He nodded his head in greeting towards Hesperos. They two had never officially met but he knew his daughter was a good judge of character.
Though it had been awhile since he had last seen his baby girl, he always felt so natural near her and the rest of the family. It always felt right. "Not going to say high to your grandpa," he teased the little foals. What would they think of him?

Everhart continued to stare at his siblings. He wasn't sure what to say, he felt bad for interrupting their game... What was wrong with him, always messing things up for others. He didn't say anything to his mother but just stayed by her side. The little colt was about to say something but then he saw the alicorn approach the group. His eyes growing wide, there was something that seemed familiar about this new stallion. Everhart was a little surprised that Spectre knew his name and how he seemed so familiar with Ghost. What was going on here?! Through this entire time, Everhart had been silently cowering behind his mother and then he heard the word grandpa. "H-He's our grandpa?" If his eyes could get any wider, they did.
Hesperos tilted his head softly at Everhart. His young son confused him very much. Not that he didn't absolutely love all of his children but he just wasn't sure how to deal with such a shy foal. Looking up, Hesperos looked at the approaching stallion. For some reason, he knew that Spectre didn't present any harm but Hesperos couldn't help but stare in wonder as the other stallion nuzzled Ghost and then he heard grandpa. OH. Then it hit him. This was Ghost's father! "Hello there. I don't think we've ever met but I'm Hesperos." He smiled kindly at Spectre hoping that he wasn't setting a bad first impression or anything. "Kids, don't be shy and say hi to your grandpa."
