It is 7:00 am on a Thursday morning, and the winds blow strongly as some of the Earlybird Music students enter Greensprings High School. The skies grow dark and menacing as the minutes go by, the sun completely covered and replaced by dark shadowy clouds. No one thinks much of it other than that it is going to rain today. It is one of the first days back to school, so some people do not know each other very well, and the previous summer has changed lives for others. But this event will change the lives of all the students and teachers, one way or another.

As the class ends at 8:00, students head to the cafeteria, while others just arrived at school and head to get food as well. As people get settled and conversations start, an announcement of great importance shows up on the School’s network and onto the TV screen. The principal is sitting at her desk, facing the students with a grim expression full of worry.

“I am sorry to announce, but the storm approaching us is going to be a hurricane, and all buildings are to be shut down immediately. What does that mean for us? For one, all classes today (except for the one that was this morning) has been canceled.” A great cheer arises from the students; more homework time for some, and free time for others.

“However,” the principal started again. “It’s not all fun and games. The county safety department has asked for all students to remain here for safely measures. That means NO leaving the buildings for ANY reason, I am sorry. Food will be provided for you, so you don’t need to pay for food as of now. Also, all game practices dealing with anything outside has also been canceled, as well as any of their games.” The football team groaned, as well as a few other sports groups. But the big cry of objection came with this sentence: “This is set until further notice, which will be AT LEAST a day from now.” She waited as the uproar went on for a few moments, then started again.

“But this is also the time to meet new people, and make new friends. Many of you are new in general to the school, due to new transferring policy and whatnot. If you take the time to open up to others, then the time will go by so much faster, as well as the school year in general. Club sign-ups will also be posted today as planned. So, hang in there and try to have fun!” the screen then shut off, and coincidently, it started to rain outside.

Rules

-No chatspeak; try to be pretty literate. I want at least 4 sentences per post, and at least a paragraph or two for your starting post. I can understand writer’s block once in a while, but it isn’t permanent. And good sentences would be nice, no "Yes." Mary said. and that's it. I'll warn you if you're not posting enough or if you're messing with other people.
-Follow the ToS (really? Do I actually have to tell you people this?)
-Keep it PG-13, please.
-Romance is encouraged.
-NO CYBERING!!!
-These people are just humans, so no magic powers or any crazy stuff.
-As far as this RP goes, I am God. Don’t purposely try to anger me (me as in Sora Kitty, not the RP character I use).
-To see if you read the rules, title the PM “Why did I come here today?!”
-Check here for any additional rules I forgot about, or decided to add.

Couples/Possible Couples List
Ok, this was Thayli's idea (yes, I'm using the RP name. WHAT NOW?!): a chart of the love lives of the students so far, and those wanting to be couples.

1.) Celia and Conall
These two are definatly in love with each other, but certain school issues has been tearing at the emotions, especially for Celia. Conall might not be the best rolemodel, but they want to stay together none the less. But with Al's truth finally revealed and Conall getting expelled due to framing, what will happen?

2) Kiyoko and Ray
Another unlikely pair, Ray has been chasing after Kiyoko since the storm, and has finally pulled through as far as his goal to be with her. It's been turning down his flirtation notch and changing his personally into a more believeable one, and Kiyoko is happy to find a significant other. However, when Lucy butts in and wants Ray to himself and realizes he's with a enemy, she goes through drastic dangerous measures, which end up hurting Kiyoko. Will they still be together?

3. Thayli and Star
Hooray, love has finally blossomed between the two! They both share common interests, and were quite nervous at first, but were able to tell each other those very pretty words before the first kiss. But what did Star's brother's comment earlier mean? Was there someone she is supposed to be with, or was it merely a hoax? If it wasn't one, can the couple stay together?

Girls

Gaia Name: Sora Kitty
RP character: Kiyoko Akemi
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Appearance: User Image
Personality: Kiyoko is the happy-go-lucky type, and she usually doesn't let little homework problems get to her. She is really into videogames and computers, as well as music. She is easy to make cry, and is fragile in general, but she's one of those loyal friends who will stick by you to the end, once you befriend her. But don't get her angry, cause now she'll fight back (and has also taken karate lessons since she moved). Underneath her quietness, she is really a little bundle of hyperness, especially if you give her candy...
Bio: Kiyoko is the second child of her parents, and she has one older brother. She and her brother are complete opposites: She’s the music fanatic, he’s the sports guy. He’s Mr. Popular with all the cheerleaders, and she has her good friends. He thinks that computers are for geeks, she thinks that they‘re for smart people. He thinks school is semi-dumb, and she thinks it‘s a great way to get educated (save for a few classes). However, despite their differences, they actually get along great. They would give each other advice, and when their father left, they both helped their mother the best they could.

She has wonderful grades in school, and her family and friends support that, even with her weird hobbies. However, there was a group of guys that liked to pick on her, and would try to get her to do their homework for them. When she refused, they’d either take her lunch money or gang up on her. She kept this under wraps for awhile, but since they were all in the same group, it was slowly becoming obvious that something was going on. Well, according to the teacher for that class. Once when she was late leaving class, this teacher asked her kindly if something was up. Not wanting to bother the lady with such problems, Kiyoko quickly tried to shrug it off and assure her it was nothing, but Kiyoko wasn’t too convincing, and as she tried to leave, she tripped and fell. This had revealed bandages, which covered a nice cut mark upon her arm, which pretty much gave away what was going on . In the end, she and the teacher agreed to help her catch her culprits, if Kiyoko stood up to them.

It wasn’t hard at all to find them; they were where they usually were, at the area by the gym. It was here that Kiyoko confronted them once and for all, and well…..that didn’t end too greatly on her part. While they were caught by the police hidden in the bushes, she ended up heading to the hospital for a couple days, after a nice smack in the head left her unconscious, as well as a black eye. In the end, the family did eventually move, but after a wonderful court case against the boys, which resulted pretty nicely: the family didn’t have to pay for those medical bills, not to mention they left quite a bit richer. The mother could see, however, the girl’s self-esteem drop, so since her mother found a job at a nearby city, they moved the summer before, using the Transfer program offered by Green Springs Highschool to let her in. She can still talk to her old friends and see them in the city nearby and by internet, but as for school, she'll have to make some new ones.

Extra: Kiyoko is a music fanatic; she always has her Ipod with her, although she knows better than to use it during classes. She also is trying to learn how to sew, and in result has made many little stuffed animals and people and such. What she would usually do is bring a “project” with her to school, and work on sewing it in the library while listening to her Ipod. She also plays the violin and piano, and can sing pretty well. She is in the EarlyBird Music Class, which were the first students here at school before the warning of the storm.

Gaia Name: xobutterflyox
RP character: Celia
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance: User Image
Personality: Celia is generally friendly and outgoing. She's not the loudest, but she's heard. She tries to be kind to everyone, but if you rub her the wrong way you'll get the cold shoulder. She didn't like to get into the drama of the high school atmosphere and that's what some people like about her. She doesn't talk to about people, she tries not to get into too much drama with guys (but it is hard sometimes. She very relaxed most of the time. That way things stay okay. She was content with the simple things. All she needed was her friends and she was happy.
Bio: Celia is the middle child. Most people would think the middle child was the one ignored, but she changed that. Of course, when she was younger she felt the "middle child syndrome", but she learned to deal with it. That's why she is the way she is. She learned to appreciate the things that she has and that's why she doesn't have to be the center of attention all the time. She had two brothers so she was always around the male influence also, but they were very relaxed so that's where she picked that up.

When her parents divorced was when she found out how hard things could get. But she also realized that it wasn't the end of the world. Although she had a lot of hard times, she learned a lot and became really appreciative. Now she wanted to make the most of her life instead of becoming depressed. She lived with her mother and that's when she picked up a feminine side and found out what she was really passionate about. Fashion became something she was very into. Fashion design to be specific. She started designing clothing at fourteen and she was quite good. The best gift she got was her first sewing machine. That was what she spent most of her money on- materials. That's what kept her relaxed, sane, and happy. Whenever she was depressed, or happy, or angry, she designed clothing.

Concerning school she wasn't the most popular, but she was well known because many girls loved her designs. She had a group of really close friends and then other casual school friends. She never yerned to be popular so it didn't matter to her. She was an average student, but sometimes she fell short. Then things at home got loud. She usually would slip up in atleast one subject per semester, but pull through.

Extra: Celia's not happy about having to stay in school because she was supposed to see her little brother today and without being able to sew it made her a bit irritated. She just tried to stay calm amongst the chaos. It was loud from all the students and she didn't perticularly enjoy it.

Gaia Name: x--X--Star-Ferns--X--x
RP character: Star Amelia Ferns
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Appearance: [-hair-]
[-outfit-]
Personality: Star is friendly and nice. She loves meeting new people and making friends.
Bio: Star has always lived in a proper family, always having to wear appropriate clothing and such. Her parents would never want to see her wearing somethign outlandish or showing. Her studies were always to be the best, always getting A's on her tests. Gallas and Balls were Star's after school and weekend plans, and she was never allowed a boyfriend. Star used to love going to balls and the sort, but is seriously thinking of starting a pitition against them. She is sort-of glad they are stuck at the school during the hurricane. Seeing as she had tricked her parents this morning and worn an outlandish outfit. Is that so wrong to be happy to be stuck with some strangers during a hurricane in a gorgeous hip outfit that she would never be allowed to wear at any time?
Extra: Star's style is much like Jade's from Bratz the Movie

Gaia Name: Nikol_Mosh
RP character: Fate Alloy
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Appearance:
User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.
Personality: She isn't the kind of girl you'd really want to get in a fight with if you hardly knew her. People would probably advise you not to. She is a fighter and nothing of a lover. She isn't interested in boys and only really focuses on what she has deemed important. When she puts her heart and soul into something, you can expect her to go far with it. When she is nothing like that though, prepare to be astounded. She has the tongue of a devil, looks of an angel and manners of royalty. Not to mention she is a head turner alright.
Bio: Fate is 100% French. All of her family lives in France. Well, most of it. She had a brother who was living in Russia until an accident took him. Then her mother vanished when she was a young child and her father took over. Before, the world used to revolve around daddy's little girl. Then he got a girlfriend. He was hardly around to watch her grow up since he had to many business trips to attend. His girlfriend was always gone as well. Fate didn't mind that though because it left the house all to herself.
She only attends very prestigious academy's (for the most part). Her family is rich which gives her the leisure of doing as she pleases. Though she does work for what she wants even with the ability to get anything at the simple request. Most of her time is spent inside the house during the day. At night, it's a different story. She loves to wander around in the garden and woods or even sit on the roof. The two loves of her life are nighttime and, nature. Not to mention music. Without those three things she would seriously be lost in life. It's the only thing that seems to keep her going everyday.

Gaia Name: Sora kitty
RP character: Lucy Miles
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Appearance: User Image
Personality: As of now, cold and somewhat sterotypical. She hangs only around her fellow fans (aka the other cheerleaders) and treats all inferior in her mind like scum of the bottom of her shoe. Although when alone, she removes the mask from her face; the only one to have seen the real Lucy since for awhile, is her cat, her best friend in the world.
Bio: Lucy was born an only child to two extremely rich parents: a lawyer father and a mother who is a doctor. So, naturally, being the only kid and all, she grew up spoiled and happy and loved, just like any other child. Her parents made sure to help her realize that this was a world that money wasn’t everything, and that being kind and doing well in school were important too. More important than wealth. She took this in well, and grew up to be sweet and caring.

As she got older, just like every other teenager, she realized that there were things that money couldn’t buy, and she’d have to adjust to such a switch while in areas such as school and real life. Of course, she wouldn’t have minded so much, if it wasn’t for the fact that things began to get heated between the two parents. They started arguing every night, what it was about at the time Lucy wasn‘t sure, but they were paying less and less attention to their little girl and her needs as a human being. She really just liked spending time with them, really, and that was starting to no longer become a possibility. So, she took comfort in the one thing that she could at that time: wealth, clothing, items. She had no choice in the matter. This trait carried past the fighting of the two parents (who eventually worked it out), and everything became right again. Except, the trait stuck, and began to show changes in Lucy.

For one, she was no where NEAR as caring as she used to be; in fact, she turned quite cold and self-centered. Also, after looking at many fashion magazines and the pop stars of today (who she looked up to as models), she began to try and follow their traits: dressing up nicely, etc. Her grades were also falling drastically, and cheerleading took over her life. Even that was getting harder, since her fellow captain seemed to always try and outdo her. Perhaps that‘s where she got the ego from; that, and she had many fans. When her parents started fighting AGAIN, she tried to find some other human to help her out; a boyfriend she could share her troubles with. One of the boys was Conall, but he turned out to be a drunk addict, which turned her off immediately (especially when she started venting to him, only to find out that he was drunk.

Her parents are barely aware that she’s on the end of her rope; she’s been snapping back a lot more lately. They figure it’s a phase she’ll grow out of.

Extra: Lucy has a pet cat named Mr. Snuffles back at home that she’s worried about; she talked to him about everything when she’s stressed.

Boys

Gaia Name: Lucthewindmaster
RP character: Alastair Eckhardt (Al, for short)
Age: 17, but 18 in 3 days.
Gender: Male
Appearance: Alastair
Personality: Studious but makes time to relax, even at the expense of his studies. He's friendly and a take-charge kind of guy. The only thing he's mean about is his guitar.
Bio: Alastair has had a simple, easy, non-dramatic life. His parents are both doctors and expect him to be one too, but he is uncomfortable with the sight of blood. Instead, he wants to be a flamenco guitarist, along the lines of Paco de Lucia. This is generally a waste, since Alastair is a very gifted student; able to get top 5% without trying too much thanks to his parents' diligent studying schedule. His talent with the guitar is also amazing, maybe even better than his genius.

He was accepted into Yale, which his parents are making him go to, and music school in Austria as well. He is planning on simply going to Austria, even if his parents don't pay for it.
Extra: He can't swim, so he generally doesn't like water.

Gaia Name: xobutterflyox
RP character: Raymond (Ray)
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: User ImagePersonality: Ray is your typical bad boy. He smokes, rides a motorcycle, and is kind of a player. He has an attitude and enjoys using sarcasim. He's a charmer though when it comes to girls. Boy can he lay it on. He loves nothing more than to be a flirt. He's easy-going though when just hanging out. But he has a short temper. He's dangerous when he's angry.
Bio: Ray grey up with his elderly grandparents because his parents died in a car accident when he was young. He grey up in a bad part of the city and his grandparents couldn't stop him from joining the wrong crowd. He got into smoking and alcohol at the age of fourteen. He was always a trouble-maker. When his grandparents died he moved in with his Aunt... Celia's mother. Yes, they're cousins. She didn't pay attention to him much because she had three other children and was going through a costody battle. So he was free as a bird.

Ray was always able to charm girls. He's usually surrounded by them and is actually respectful for the most part. But Celia always sticks her head in and tears him down. The girls find it ammusing but he doesn't. Despite what you might think, they're actually very close. Expecially because he's always been interested in her friends.

He's constantly getting in trouble at school and most of the teacher hate him. But that didn't matter to him. He barely passes most of the time and his female teachers usually love him.
Extra: n/a

Gaia Name: x--X--Star-Ferns--X--x
RP character: Joshua "Josh" Ferns
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: Josh has brown hair, like his sister, and it's very shaggy. His clothes are mostly t-shirts and black pants, or jeans, but sometimes his sister puts him into his favourite converse and makes him look cool. Out of school, of course. His parents would have freaked if they had seen him. Good thing they didn't. But when Star dressed him up like that, he realized she had real talent. Not the cheap talent that anyone could whip together. REAL talent. That's what made him keep her secret the most. So, on average Josh does look like an average, friendly guy.
Personality: Pretty decent guy, he's mostly quiet. Josh likes to be more alone, and also get straight A's like his sister. Him and his sister are so much alike it's incrediable. Girls like guys like Josh, so lots of them like him. He just ignores them, like his sister ignores guys. Studies and futures are more important than mild crushes.
Bio: He hangs with his sister alot, and is one of the only people who know about her crave for fashion. He usually ends up covering for Star when she goes to do something. He earned the nickname "Mr. Reliable" from Star a while back when she made the outfit she's wearing today.
Josh loves music. It's kind-of his secret thing like Star has her fashions. He writes music alot and sings it at school in his music class. After class, of course. Josh sometimes sings with hsi sister, and foudn that she has an amazing voice. Josh's favourite subject besides his music is chemistry, and to some people he's considered a nerd. But he really isn't. He's a real cool guy if you become his friend.
Extra: Josh resents the cheerleaders for the fact that they trail after any guy they find cool until he goes out with them, then the next day the cheerleaders dump him. It's so silly, and he would hate it if Star ever started hanging out with them....

Gaia Name: Lucifer Moloch
RP character: Conall Michaels
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance: {Conall}
He has three tattoos that he sports whenever asked: a paw print on the scruff of his neck, the Japanese character for 'wrath' on his right shoulder blade, and a trail of paw prints coming up from below his waist. He also has a brand of the number 13 on his left arm.
Personality: Conall is difficult for anyone to describe. He is best known for his mood swings, once escalating to cussing out the head cheerleader. He has an anger problem, but when he isn't angry, he's rather random and entertaining. Another thing he is known for is being able to hang out with anyone in the school if he chose to.
Bio: Conall grew up a normal little life until his mother decided to move all around, dragging Conall with her. They finally settled down, and Conall stayed in the town since. Conall got a million bad habits from his travels, and his mother never approved. Conall was always a really smart kid, he just never bothered trying. Many of his teachers tried to get him to work, but he proved unresponsive. When he was 15 he was arrested for assault when someone had tried to break his CD player, and ever since whenever Conall met a teacher, they only saw a walking criminal record. And even though his supposed 'bad boy' image would have normally given him an instant popularity pass, for some reason it just never caught on. So naturally Conall has no friends, no one to talk to, and no one to care about. Throughout the years, Conall's eyes have dulled to the point of being a perpetual black hole.
Extra: He is in an Advanced Literature after Mr. Kiyoshi realizing how well of a writer Conall is. Conall normally drives a Tokyo Purple '59 Impala.

Gaia Name: Anidzuki
RP character: Renji Hidaka
Age: 17
Gender: M
Appearance: User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.
Personality: Renji's attitude is quite peculiar for a student. He's often seen with a smile on his face but he never seems to put any effort into to anything. People often approach him to talk but he somehow ends the conversation abruptly with a few words -- which has lead people to think that he's somewhat shy. However, it feels like he is rather picky about whom he opens up to because he is seen often talking to girls outside of school.
Bio: Renji is a transfer student into this school. No one really knows anything about him since he just transferred. Often people label him as mysterious or some sort of outcast because he never approaches anyone in school. Renji has no siblings and lives on his own. His parents sent him to the city to learn the "Harshness of reality" because he lived his entire life pampered at home by rich entrepreneurs and professional tutors.

Renji is quite athletic and enjoys practicing martial arts; However, he has joined no clubs. He is often seen hanging around watching the sports team from a fair distance. At one point he was invited to come tryout for one of the teams but he declined because it "wasn't interesting enough." His grades in school are top-notch but his homework and study habits are lacking, he never participates in class but somehow always scores well during exams. Teachers often come to him and scold him for not doing his homework and threaten to call his parents but often end up in a loss because the phone number for Renji's immediately family always puts them on hold for hours due to the fact that A) it was a company number and B) Renji's parents don't care.
Extra: He loves watching birds.

Gaia Name: Anidzuki
RP character: Brian Stevens
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Appearance: If you were to describe this man with one word, the only one that would come to mind is: 'testosterone'. He's 6' foot tall, with muscles that are usually seen on an Arnold Schwarzenegger/Jean Claude van Damme movie. He has black hair, and exceptionally tanned skin. If you ignore all those features, then he'd just be the average joe... that could eat you for breakfast.

Personality: Enthusiastic would be the word to describe it, he absolutely loves people who work hard for their dreams. He may look quite scary on the outside, but in reality, he's quite the good guy. Always helping out wherever needed, cheering up his fellow school mates after losing at their club tournaments. Another thing, he loves sports, especially Boxing.

Bio: Brian "Captain" Stevens had always been at the school. During his freshman years he had always been in the Boxing club. He was an instantly accepted by the previous captain on first sight. In fact, Brian hadn't ever been interested in Boxing till the previous captain forced him into a sparring match. At that point, he fell in love with the sport and never thought about anything else, even his grades in school. Around the campus, Brian had earned the nickname "Captain" because of his leadership qualities, being the captain of the Boxing club, he was also a member of the Student Council; he had put a lot of effort into the school, making him an instant celebrity by name, which everyone had forgotten so everyone aptly stuck with the name "Captain".
Extra: Don't get hit by his Right Straight

Gaia Name: Wolven_Darkness
RP character: Thayli
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Appearance: User Image
Instead of the shirt in the picture he is wearing one that reads "Fight War, Not Wars"
.:~ First Necklace ~:.
.:~ Second Necklace ~:.
.:~ Ring ~:.
Personality: Thayli is the type who keeps to himself, though may make a comment or make a sarcastic remark as he's walking past people.
Bio: Thayli's parents were never married, and they broke up when he was really young. He grew up with his mother, who was single most of the time, though she had had a boyfriend who was a bit of an a**. Being an only child he kept to himself most of his life and started to learn to skateboard, which was the perfect sport for him since it was self teaching. The second reason he didn't have many friends is because he moved so much with his mum. Luckily he and his mother had found a house of their own instead of an apartment, so he would finally be staying in one spot.
Extra: Thayli is a nature lover, and is against war. Religion wise Thayli is Pagan, and he hates the Christians who hate him just because he's Pagan. The first necklace he wears is the Pagan Pentagram, and his second necklace and ring are celtic knots.

Accepted Teachers

Women

Gaia Name: Lucthewindmaster
RP Character: Adrienne Espinosa
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Appearance: Adrienne
Personality: Bright, outgoing, and fun. She likes making her class feel like a hangout instead of a lesson.
Bio: Fresh off the block, Adrienne had some trouble getting used to school life. It was definitely different than graduate school where she had taught middle schoolers. High school was a much nire difficult place. But after a year, she has gotten used to the hustle and bustle. Students even like her because she's young.

Having grown up the eldest of several siblings, Adrienne learned to take care of her family. Her father took care of the job while her mother took care of the house. That left the job of teaching her siblings. She can tell when a child is feeling upset, so she's very easy to talk to and sometimes even confronts her students after class.

Despite being young, she has been married and divorced. She caught him trying to take advantage of her little sister. The man was her first love so she's a little shaky when it comes to guys since she was hurt so badly.
Class you teach: Mathematics
Extra: She dislikes jack a** students. Absolutely no slack is given to those who mess around her class.

Gaia Name: x--X--Star-Ferns--X--x
RP Character: Miss Veronica Skylar
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Appearance: [x]
Personality: Straight forward and open; two words that come to mind with Veronica. Students usually fear her, unless they've been taught by her and are in her class. She's really intelligent, and most people who've been taught by her in the music field said it was their best year. She comes off as a bit scary, since she's so straight with you and honest. She doesn't hold back, and she's real competitive.

Bio: She grew up in the tough part of town, and went to University and College to be a Surgeon, but decided to become a teacher instead. She co-oped at a hospital when she was in high school herself, and enjoyed it very much. Then, after finishing both College and University, she decided against dealing with the constant fight for surgeries and cases in the medical field, and went to be a music teacher.

Veronica is skilled in the musical field, as well as the sciences. She chose music for the lack of big-headedness, and so far hasn't lost it with the off-key singing, and instrument playing. She prefers to make it hard for her student, which also pushes them to do better. Reading an intire musical in one night, then doing a report on it for 3 days is mild, in Veronica's class. Don't bother taking the class, unless you can handle alot of homework and reports. They also do alot of hands-on stuff in class, which is usualy once a week. However, that is usually playing the instruments.

Veronica is intelligent, and in hating big-headed peope, she is always up for a challenge. She thinks equal of all the teachers, even the gym teachers. She is a take charge kind of person, and won't leave a task undone. She usually has the whole year for classes done in one semester, so those who take her class are usually ahead of most schools. Veronica is nice to people, but very neutral. She never shows her emotions, since she learned at the hospital that it's a sign of weakness, and most people take advantage of that.

Class you teach: Music and sometimes subs for Chemistry.
Extra: She is usually in charge of musicals, along with the drama teacher. The students actually respect her, and there is absolutly no nonsense in her class.

Men

Gaia Name: Sora Kitty
RP Character: Shirou Kiyoshi
Age: 28
Gender: Male
Appearance: User Image
Personality: Usually quiet when reading a book, but over an energetic teacher to have. He tries to make his classes fun and enjoyable, since he knows first-hand how some teachers took the fun out of the subject. He answers all sorts of questions and tries to bond with the students. Rather than scream at troublemakers, he has his own methods of getting them to stop.
Bio: Shirou was the fourth son and youngest son in his family, with three older brothers, and a baby sister. While the other boys preferred football and shooting each other with toy guns, Shirou would rather get lost in a good story book, and could be found reading to his little sister. While his brothers reprimanded him for this, in the end, he got the highest grades out of all of them, and was put into advanced classes. While he didn’t like the other classes too much, he enjoyed getting to read all sorts of advanced books and stories, so it was all worth it.

However, as things were looking good overall, one of his brothers was actually bullying other students in school. While Shirou didn’t think much on this, it wasn’t until he saw one of his victims running towards Shirou after school, blood dripping from her nose and crying. Not knowing it was his brother‘s doing, Shirou quickly took the little 10-year-old girl to the nurse, and it was there the girl told the story. This shocked Shirou, for his second-oldest brother seemed so calm at home. This brother was actually caught due to this, and now hates Shirou’s guts, since he had to make it up to the girl, not to mention jailed after finding out about illegal gambling and other fights. Even though it was so many years ago, bullying is one thing Shirou cannot stand, and he couldn’t get the picture out of his head for years. The anger had actually been over the girl’s older brother not paying him over a bet.

As far as romance goes, he has yet to find someone that met his tastes, so he still waits for that special someone to enter his life, or for him to enter the girl’s.
Class you teach: Literature
Extra: Shirou is also one of the school’s volunteer counselors, as well as the leading one. He meditates to relieve the stresses of his life, as well as reads (duh). He also has made various crystal objects by hand, and some of them are displayed around the classroom.

Gaia Name: Suicidal_dream
RP Character: Wu Zun Chen
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Appearance: User Image
Personality: Aloof, self-assured, cocky. Knows he's rather handsome and exploits it when flirting, which he does a lot.
Bio: Growing up handsome in California really got to Wu Zun's head. In a place where looks were extremely important, he became immensely popular. It was his goal to become a model, which he achieved, but soon realized getting jobs was harder than it seemed. Wu Zun became an art teacher solely for the fact that it was a steady job where he would have to do little to nothing to receive a paycheck between his modeling jobs. Of course, if his colleagues, both in the modeling world and in the education world, were to find out about his other jobs, he'd be kicked out. This school was remote enough so that neither industry would discover the other side.

Because of his looks, Wu Zun goes through women really fast. He's never had a serious relationship and doesn't intend to anytime soon. But when he sets his sights on someone he likes, he does not stop in pursuit.
Class you teach: Art
Extra: Despite the fact that the job means nothing to him, Wu Zun does take it seriously... sometimes. His art classes are generally walks in the park, but really, he won't just allow kids to ignore their work. So the students tend to like his classes. They are in high demand

((Ok, guys, heres's the deal.
It's been quite a few days, and we're still a bit short on people. We'll go ahead and start, but keep sending in those profiles (teachers especially)!))

It was a dark day in the city, and one couldn’t even see the sun rise. Nothing but dark clouds filled the sky, like some looming mysterious strangers awaiting some unbelievable event. Distant rumbles could be heard, but the rain had yet to fall, and lightning had yet to strike. However, there were various gusts of wind that blew the dirt of the ground and sent the trees bending sideways for a few seconds, then the bursts would stop immediately, leaving everything normal again until the next gust of wind.

Kiyoko Akemi arrived at the school at precisely 7:27 am. Along with a few cars, a small red one pulled up to the drop-off part of the school. Inside the red car were two people: a mother and a teenaged girl. The mother had long brown hair and soft brown eyes, and one could see a few various paint bits on her fingers. She couldn’t sleep the night before, so she had decided to start a new piece of artwork. The other was a quiet girl, her hair worn down with a small bow on top. She had bright blue eyes, which were right now semi-staring off into space as she leaned her head against the window. She was wearing a new pink dress, with a matching red jacket, as well as some new comfortable shoes. Her book bag and instrument sat next to her, as well as a bag lunch. Noticing the car stop, the girl jerked back to reality, and turned to her mother. The lady was looking at her daughter kindly, trying to keep her positive. “You ok?” she asked the girl, and the girl nodded with a small “yeah.” The girl had been at her new school for two days so far, and today was the third.

“Talk about a harsh day, eh? I’m surprised the school didn’t close; I dunno how you guys are going to be able to concentrate in those classrooms. Heh, I don‘t think I could, but that shows you my attention span.” the mother said with a small laugh.”

“Well, at least it’s a nice day to paint for you. The sky’s nice and dark, and it would surprise me if it didn’t rain.” the girl commented.

“True, true. I look forward to it eagerly.” the mother responded, then glanced at the time. “Goodness, you’d better get going. You sure you’ve got everything this time, Kiyoko? Call me if you need anything, k?” she asked; the day before the girl had left her instrument at home, not realizing til 15 minutes til class started. That was fun….not. Kiyoko nodded, grabbed all her stuff, then got out of the car. She gave her mother a goodbye-wave with her free hand, and walked with a few others towards the school.

Her long brown hair blew in the sudden gust of strong wind that blew across the grounds, as well as her dress. She stumbled from it’s strength and had to shift her book bag and violin case, but she did not fall. She looked up at the sky, the rain reflecting in her bright blue eyes. She had to admit that it was unusually dark, even for a strong storm. The sky seemed to take over the sun completely; one couldn’t see the sunshine if they tried. She held the door open for a few people, then entered the building herself.

After a 30 minute class, the students put away their instruments in their assigned lockers. Kiyoko had her locker moved, due to being too short to reach the other one she had before. This actually didn’t cause any laughter, like she had expected. She left with the others towards the cafeteria, where she could relax and get something to eat before school started.

When she had arrived at the cafeteria, she quickly got into the line. A good thing about being in an early class, is that you beat the rush of people getting something to eat. Sitting down at a table with a donut and water, she took out her sewing stuff. She was just about to start a new plush….when that annoucnement came on. Her heart seemed to skip a beat when it gave the news...that they were going to be here for at least a day, with no classes and trying to make friends with others. It was true that her mother had used this transfer program and it let her in the school. She ran her hand through her hair, where a small sticthed area could be felt waaay underneath all her long brown hair.

She sat there, stunned, that they were now…….officially stuck in this school. Whispers and shouts of the start of this event was beginning to freak people out; conversations rose. Some were shouting in anger, others in joy, others in sorrow. Kiyoko sighed; she felt more alone then ever right now. How was she goona last at least 24 hours in this crazy teenage-filled building known as a school? All rules are probably going to break, and all mayhem let loose. It would be fine....if she actually knew some people.

She was doomed to failure, most likely. But if so, she could still go down in style.

-----------------------

Literature teacher Shirou Kiyoshi leaned against the wall in his classroom, with a sigh. It was 8:02 am, and he had just come out of a important teacher meeting. He sighed, and stared up at some pretty figurines, that he made himself. “Great, not only are the classes canceled, but all the students are stuck in this one building. That’s a lot of people.” he said aloud, to no one in particular.

He was rather tired; he'd been here since 7 am, working as a school counsler. He was working with one student, who was having some trouble at home and needed someone to talk to. It was mainly about the boy's family having issues at the moment. But it was worth it when the teacher noticed that the boy seemed much more relieved when he left the office; it also meant he had gained the boy's trust, which is hard to do during the teenager years.

“Then again, with the club sign-ups and games that will most likely happen, this could get interesting.” he finished, with a small smile and laugh. It’d definitely be an adventure." He then got up and headed towards the cafeteria.

Celia woke up early that morning to the gushing winds. She sighed and looked out the window. A tree was toppled over in her backyard onto the fence. She sighed and looked at the time. She had more than enough time to get ready for school. She turned on the tiny television in her messy room and listened to the news. Ugh... There is still school..., she thought as she listened to it while getting dressed. She couldn't believe that they still were going to have school. She really didn't want to go to school because she had just came out with a new design and she was supposed to see her little cousin today.

She wore one of her newer designs, a soft white dress that slouches off the shoulders, is half sleeved and goes to a couple inches above the knee. She put on her white matching boots and a white hat. (Her picture) She fixed her hair and make-up. Just as she finished that there was a violent knock on the door. She opened it up to see the ready Ray.

"Come on Celia! God you take forever, it's seven fifteen already" he huffed. His hair was messy, black, tinted red. He wore a button up shirt, with the first few and the last few unbuttoned and untucked. He wore black jeans. This was his usual get up. A dog tag hung around his neck. "We're taking the motorcycle." he smirked, knowing that she'd freak out because of the wind.

"No way! We're taking the car..." she told her cousin and grabbed her bag. He chuckled at her and both of them headed to her car. They got in and headed to school.

Each were in lunch when they made the announcement. Celia was very upset because today was supposed to be a good day, but Ray saw this as an approtunity to flirt with as many girls as he could. He knew that his cousin would bee fustrated, expecially since she didn't have anything to sew.

Celia had gotten a salad and a bottle of water. She didn't want to sit with the people she usually did because she was upset. Then she saw a girl sewing. She looked new and lonely so she headed over to the table. "Hey, can I sit here?" she asked with a smile, taking a seat anyways. "So you like to sew?" she asked.

Kiyoko had actually gone back to sewing after the announcement. It was her favorite pastime; making dolls and clothes out of all sorts of material. She kept a collection back at home...well, now her new home, anyways. While she usually listened to her Ipod as she worked, it was harder to hear it in the cafeteria without killing her own ears by turning up the volume. Plus, normally she'd have to wait for the bell. So she used the buzz and commotion of the people as her way to zone out, letting the needle flow in and out. Sometimes, she'd by some miracle type with her friends online and sew at the same time, which is hard by the lookds of it, but really very easy for her. It's a little trick she learned over the summer.

Then she heard a voice, and the sound of someone sitting next to her. For a split second, Kiyoko thought her ears were starting to play tricks on her. Then she looked up and saw a student sitting next to her, sitting her food on the table and sitting down next to her.

This girl had long brown hair, and appeared to be wearing something of a new fashion stye. It was a bright white shirt/dress, with a beautiful matching scarf and hat. It's not something Kiyoko had seen before in stores, so perhaps this girl made it herself. She overall looked very calm, but Kiyoko could sense the same anger some of the others students obtained about 3 minutes ago.

Upon the second question, Kiyoko turned a bit pink. She wasn't used to people actually noticing her work, other than her old friends. She forced herself to speak while turning to hte girl and smiling back; might as well try and make new friends, especially with the long time up ahead. "Yeah. I usually stick to clothes or dolls, but on occasion I'll try other stuff. I take it you like to sew as well? That's a pretty outfit; did you make it yourself?" she asked the girl, hoping to god she was right on her assumption. Otherwise, she was messing up.
PostPosted: Wed Dec 26, 2007 5:24 pm

Celia smiled at her. "That's nice." she said and then nodded. "Thank you, and yes I did make it myself. I just finished it a couple days ago actually. Thanks for noticing. I make most of my own clothing..." she said, lightening up a little bit. She was glad to have someone to talk to about like sewing. "I wish I had my fabric and stuff with me so I could sew too. I always do that to relieve my boredum and it seems like we're going to be here for awhile..." she said with a slight sigh at the end. She realized that she didn't even know that girls name. "Oh, I'm Celia by the way..." she introduced with a smile. "What's your name?" she asked.

Celia would of usually asked that first if she hadn't been so distracted. She blocked out the rest of the cafeteria. It didn't really much matter to her who was around as long as she had someone to talk to. She really wished she hadn't come to school today at all.
Out of no where she felt someone pounce on her back.

When she turned Ray sat down next to her. "Hey cuz..." he said with an innocent smile. "Oh, you look upset...." he said, pretending to care as she gave him a glare. He didn't care though. She started to tell him to go away and that she didn't want to talk to him, but he just ignored her and looked over at Kiyoko. "Who's your friend?" he asked, winking at Kiyoko. Again, she tried to tell him off, but he once again ignored her. "I'm Ray..." he introduced with a charming smile.

Kiyoko was also glad to have someone to talk to, and about similiar interests. "I usually bring a little bit, but not usually enough to finish a whole project. But there should be some sort of sewing classroom; the teacher might let you borrow some felt and stuff. I haven't been there myself yet, so I'm not completely sure." she said, then sighed. She picked up a fallen piece of felt, then took a good look around the cafeteria. "Yeah, it's definiately going to be a long one. But it'll be interesing to say the least. During the past couple days, I've noticed quite a few kids who could be crazy enough to be in a padded room, yet smart enough to be mastermind criminals. They'll be delighted at this opportunity to be in a school with no classes." she added. Suddenly realizing something, she mentally slapped herself when she saw hte girl introduce herself. "Oh! I completely forgot; my manners aren't here, apparently. I'm-"

However, before she could introduce herself, anohter had joined hte group. This boy seemed to know Celia, for she told the boy to go away, with him happily igonring her requests. The boy looked (sterotypically) like the flirty type, with the somewhat-buttoned shirt and the dog tags. But she knew better than to judge....that is, until he ignored the girl completly and winked at Kiyoko. Yep. Flirty type. But he wasn't bad at it, to say the least. She decided to hold a steady temper for now. "I'm Kiyoko. It's nice to meet you both." she told them with a smile. "I've only been here a couple days, which is why I haven't gotten used to this place yet." she added with a shrug.

Ray kept the charming smile resting on his lips. He took her hand. "It's a pleasure to meet you..." he said, kissing it gently before letting her take it back. He got a good look at her, she was cute to say the least. She had an innocent air to her that he found quite attractive. But then again he found a lot of girls attractive as long as they were thin and had a pretty face. "Oh, is that why the school feels so... complete now. It was missing a gorgeous young lady before..." he said smoothly, thinking quick. He always had something like that to say and could think of things like that within seconds. It was just in his nature.

Celia rolled her eyes at him. "Don't mind my obnoxious cousin. He thinks he's some kind of casanova...." she said, putting him down. "He's just an a**..." He would of usually told her off, but he didn't want to make a bad impression already. He was going to play a different card this time just to get Celia back.

"Hey, hey, there is no need for harsh words...." he said calmly. "I think nothing like that of myself and I certainly don't think I'm an "a**". How can you use such words against your loving cousin? Who, by the way, helps you pick up guys all the time...." he said smoothly, making her out to be the bad one. But she just simply rolled her eyes. She couldn't say anything about him not helping her with guys, because he did... if she did him some sort of favor.

Kiyoko turned a bit red as the boy, Ray, took her hand and kissed it. Even though it was all obvious flirting, his words and actions were still sweet, in a way. Great, she'd always hate it when the girls fell for some obvious idiot. She always heard some sort of giggling or mumbling of how "cute" or "hot" a guy was. Kiyoko wasn't falling for the guy, though, that's for sure. She just wasn't used to this certain kind of guy attention. She had her little crushes during her younger years, usually with some quiet kind boy. But they didn't usually last long, due to them getting girlfriends sometime during this "he's so sweet" period.

It was with Celia's explanation that made it clear as to why they knew each other so well; they were actually cousins. Kiyoko had to stiffle a threatening giggle when the girl gave her opinion on her "obnoxious cousin". Poor girl, she must have had to get used to his strategies.

Kiyoko raised an eyebrow at the boy, seeing a flaw in his switch-the-blame tatic a few moments after it was spoken. "Well, now, aren't you doing the same thing to your cousin right now, Ray? Using her to meet other women?" she asked him, in a semi-joking fashion.
PostPosted: Wed Dec 26, 2007 6:26 pm

Ray raised an eyebrow as Kiyoko found the flaw in his strategy. He smirked a little bit. "She's a smart one..." he said to his cousin, smiling at her. He moved from his cousin's side to Kiyoko's and put his arm around her shoulder. "In a way, but I saw you first. Celia's just faster. I would of been here either way. It's just easier to meet you if she had first... I can be a bit shy..." he said, jokingly towards the end because it was more than odvious that he wasn't. "You know you look cute in red..." he said, referring to her blushing before, "I think that's a good color for you..." he said with a charming smile, his eyes focused on her.

A couple of other girls from a table over looked at Kiyoko with envious looks in their eyes. Ray was odviously very popular amoungs the ladies. They whispered amongs themselves, trying to figure out why he'd be talking to her instead of them. It was just to make themselves feel better.

Celia rolled her eyes again. "Ray you know that's not true." she said, shaking her head. "You're just here because you saw me with a fresh new face who happened to be pretty." she accused, rolling her eyes. "No one invited you to sit here, go away. You're just becoming annoying now. Do you have to hit on all my friends? God, go get your own..." she said, shaking her head. She didn't enjoy having Ray around most of the time in school.

Ray shook his head. "It is true and I only saw a pretty face... One that looked like it was attached to a beautiful soul. I can't help but want to meet someone like that. Can you blame any guy? You're just jealous of her because other guys see her like that and not you." he shot back in the same calm manner. She had just shrugged it off, knowing it was no use to argue with him.

Kiyoko could tell right off that it was getting very akward, to say the least. She felt Ray put his arm around her shoulder, trying to sweet-talk her, feeling his eyes stare into hers. She felt pity for Ceila again, who looked angry again; she must deal with this quite alot. How she's sane, she'll never know. She looked at the girl helplessly, not sure on how to lessen the tension of the scene.

From the corner of her eye, she could see a few of the girls stare enviously at her. Her heart sank a bit as she recgonized one of them; it was one of the head cheerleaders. Kiyoko was running late to one of her classes yesterday, and she accidently ran straight into her, knocking both of them and their stuff on the ground. Unaware of the girl's popularity, she did what she would have done in any situation; try to gather the girl's fallen papers, while apologizing over and over again. As she found out, the cheerleader didn't appreciate her touching her stuff, but rather grabbed the semi-gathered stuff from Kiyoko, and pushing the new girl's stuff father down the hall before walking off. She would have been late, if it wasn't for a few of the nicer kids helping her out, and a teacher writing all four of the students passes to get into class without penalties. It was actually Mr. Kiyoshi who had seen the whole scene, and had without any regret let them in, simply saying that they were helping him pick up a few things. Kiyoko was hoping that the man hadn't talked to the girl about her behavior, but the look on her smug face proved the truth.

She swimmed in her own mind quickly for a comeback, and thankfully found one. "And how can you tell what my soul and mind are like in the couse of 10 minutes? You'd actually have to know more about me, not just pour the comments on thick. I"m not a pancake, and you're not syrup. It's more than flirting." she told him, becoming a bit more serious now.

Mr. Kiyoshi made it to the cafeteria, and after grabbing some cereal, scanned the crowd of kids. He was trying to figure out who he should watch out for as far as pranks go. As he looked, he noticed some of the popular girls staring angerly at something, then break into whisper.

His face hardened as he recgonized one of the girls; Lucy, the cheerleader. He had a stern talk with the girl's snobbish attitude yesterday as he witnessed her treat a new student quite badly. What was the girl's name again? Oh, it was Kiyoko. She was in the basic Literature class, like the others in her grade.

As he looked to see what was wrong, he had to stiffle a laugh; it was that flirtatious boy, Raymond, with his arms around......well, speak of hte devil! Well, mabye not devil. But it was the same girl from yesterday. And without surprise, it was also his cousin Celia. He always seemed to use her to find girls; he lacked in orignality at that department.
