Kusitiri finished eating the last of his rabbit leg. He was lucky to have found it before the hyena's got it. Although he doesn't recall how he found the thing.. or what had just happened that day. He does remember someone.. Not sure of what they wanted though. Sighing a bit he looks up into the setting sky. It was beginning to become dark again.
The blue lion looked slightly happy as the stars came out, watching all of the twinkles in the sky with a small happy look on his face. He was glad it was night, this is the only time he can remember things correctly.. Or only things that will happen then..

Moja was practicing her hunting and stalking skills as the light of day began to fade, only wishing she had been born with a sister or two to help her hunt, even though one of her brothers might have helped her, but regardless, this was a chance for self-improvement, and little did she know that opportunity was to come.
Tasting the air with her tongue and her nose, she caught the scent of rabbit blood, meaning that it was either dead or ripe for the picking. With her red fur low to the ground, and black tuft on her head showing, she began to slink off towards its source, oblivious to any other scent besides that one.

Sighing, the blue camouflage lion lied on his back with the bone of the hare in his mouth, twirling it with his tongue. Even if it was such a small piece of food it was still filling to him, thankfully. The sky began to turn even darker, white lights filling it slowly, but forcefully showing it's self through. Along with the giant full moon out.
He sighed once more, grateful at this and let his body relax. The bone falling out of his mouth and unto the ground. There was some blood surrounding him, but none seemed to be on him, due to the fact he didn't kill the thing just got the leftovers.. This didn't bother him either. It happened a lot, or so that he could remember. Him having to eat the left overs of others... so it didn't matter to him much. It's a rare treat when he actually gets to kill something and eat it all for himself.

Moja found the scene of the crime, and with the dark coming on and the grass blurring the shapes, she could only see blood, bones, and......Blue? Wriggling her nose so that she could see more clearly, and what she saw made her lurch back in surprise. That was the biggest rabbit she'd ever seen! It must be the same size as her, or bigger! It didn't seem to be moving, however, so thinking it was dead, so no longer cared that the wind was blowing her scent towards the presumed carcass, and she tried to ignore the smell of another lion. Her shoulders shrugged and began to rock as she walked closer and closer.
She had no need to be stealthy in front of a dead rabbit, regardless of size, but she was still trying to hunt, and thus when she was only two meters away, she tensed and laid low to the ground, preparing an ambush. Her red body lurched from the grass and with two bounds she had lept onto her quarry. But it was still warm - and not from blood, breathing too! She was still on top of this thing, pinning it down to the earth, but she pulled her head back and with wide eyes, she analyzed it to be another lion, and a male that probably wouldn't be happy with her.

Kusitiri growled slightly to himself as he sees the dark coming on, grinning and watching the stars pop up one.. by one. His ears twitched at hearing some ruffling in the bushes but he ignored it and continued watching the stars twinkle in the sky. They were beautiful to him. Taking a step forward but pauses as the wind blows by and he smells a different scent in the air, one other then the blood on the ground. Slowly he turned around to spot something red which, a few seconds later attacked him and kept him against the ground. Eyes widening he stared at the female that's still on top of him
"H-hey! Why did you attack me like that..? I don't think I did anything to you" Looks slightly confused now.. "Did I do something to you?"

Moja leapt awkwardly backwards from the male, stuttering and sputtering incoherent 'words' that tried to provide an explination of her actions. "Uh - I - uh, no you - I mean - I don't think...." Moja's babbling was just that - less than secentences, and a less than a satisfactory explination. "I um....I just thought you were the.....The rabbit...." Moja trailed off shamefully, motioning to the referenced rabbit and hanging her head in shame. "I-I'm sorry, it was a misunderstanding on my part...." She looked away, tail too, hanging woefully.

The blue camouflaged rogue look terribly confused by the time Moja had finally explained what happened. His tail swished softly while he blinks a few times trying to think before his mouth opens and he begins murmuring his answer. "Okay good, I didn't do anything to you.. but.. The rabbit, I don't understand how it go there I just remember eating the left overs." He spits the bone that was in his mouth, out now and glanced back at the female.
"Oh.. now I feel bad, you came for food and I ate it.... Wait this wasn't your kill was it?" His eyes widen at this thought. "I-I'm sorry if it was!" The poor lion looked disgruntled at trying to remember now. "I hate this cursed memory of mine.. damn.."

She eyed the leftovers of the rabbit carcass. She could lie and say that it was indeed her kill, but she didn't see the profit of it..... Unless.....
"It-it was mine..." Moja spoke as though it was sincerely her own, eyes downcast, as she silently waited for the offer to make it up to her. She kept herself in check, tail not twitching rapidly in excitement, but instead just swishing woefully. She reached out and pawed the small pile of bones that had been the creature, and batted them slowly.

He's been fidgeting over the pile of bones in front of him, before his light blue eyes look up at Moja and he flails a bit, his tail twitching upward in panic. "I-I'm so very sorry.. I'll help you catch something bigger in return for the few pieces I've eaten" He licks his muzzle awkwardly and cough a bit but smiles weakly at her with his proposal, walking a bit forward and twitching his tail, ears pressing against his head with cautiousness as he does this.
"Unless that's not how you handle things..."

Moja managed not to let slip a grin, as her plan fell together. Instead she meekly looked over her shoulder, eyes still cast low, until they looked at the lion through her forelock of black. "Really?" Her voice was just as quiet as her body posture, and again she looked away, getting a lesson more in acting than in hunting. "I would like that.... a lot." She nodded, and stood, raising her nose to the wind, but only her eyes receiving the stars as they came forward.
Her brows furrowed, and she looked at the ground. Then again, maybe she couldn't - or should not - use this lion in such a manner. She turned to face him, her weak smile more genuine as she spoke, "So... Who are you anyway?"

He moves close to her, keeping his distance, but being polite by doing this. He lets out a nervous sigh at this and twitches as he hears something moving. He sighs once more and then stood with her. "Where should we go hunt then.. Or what do you want?" He sniffed the air trying to catch the scent of something alive.
" I am.. Well, I don't know. I call myself Kusitiri, I think I remember my mom giving me this name, but I am not sure to tell you the truth... Who are you?" He felt comfortable enough to speak this out, trusting but he can't be too trusting.

Moja recalled that nostalgic feeling of a mother once present and her name the only thing left of her. "I'm Moja." She rolled her eyes and patted the dirt beneath her toes as she thought. She didn't really want to go hunting.... Couldn't she dupe him further into hunting by himself?
Ah!
And now she had it. The lioness sat down and held her paw close. "Er, well. I sorta hurt my paw when I tackled you.... And before that while chasing the rabbit. I'm sorry, but... I can't hunt very well. Do you think you could manage alone?" If it worked she would sit pretty while he caught her dinner.
