Adventurous, she needs a good thrill often or she gets boered. She loves to travel and experiance different ways of living. All past relationships of hers have failed because she wasn't attatched to them as she was to her career. She considers herself an artist when it come to stunts and hates cheep, fake stunts. Ira can be stubborn and harsh to strangers and only has a few friends.
Power/Description:
Flicker Teleport- user can teleport anywhere within eye shot, leaving a sort of thumb print in their original position in the form of a replica of themselves. The replica in intangible but can interact with people until it disapears which takes anywhere from one minute to three. It takes a split second for the user to be replaced with the decoy, thus a flicker effect.
Greatest Strength:
Great for escaping and it doesn't take a whole lot of energy. She could in theory teleport in a circle around someone to create a rather intimidating group surrounding an attacker, though there would only be one physical Ira.
Greatest Weakness:
Long distances are nausiating because the process involves the flinging of most of the cells in her body to another point in space. She can only travel within her field of vision so her ability would be useless if her vision was impared unless she knew her surounding area flawlessley. The only place in the world that might qualify is her hometown in Washington.
Biography:
Ira was raised alone by her mother in Seatle Washington from the time she was born until highschool. They were very close, and would mountain climb together for fun. Her mom said it reminded her of her old home and Ira's father. Ira just loved the thrill. In elementary school she didn't have many friends her age because she was so close to her mom.
In highschool, her mom's job (whatever it was, Ira never asked) took them to San Francisco. Freshman year was hard for Ira but luckily she found friends in Natalie and Ian. Her mom was excited for her even though they had been growing apart. Last year her mother died. Ira had never been so upset, at her funeral she said only that, "All my life when I was sick or injured, my mom was there for me. She would take the pain away and make me feel safe. Thanks, Mom and rest in peace." Ira believes that her mother was murdered.
Since then she has taken off as a travelling stunt woman on a country-wide tour. Her grades are average in her courses online. She's also carried a gun with her, in case her mother's killer tries to cross her. Ira's abilities manifested recently during a show. She was nervous about freefalling into the Great Salt Lake in Utah at night from a helicopter. Halfway down she wished she was in the water and teleported there to leave her replica to hit the water. She has written it off to her stressful schedual and her mind plaing tricks on her. Ira is currently in San Francisco for a performance and is excited to see her friends again.
She carries a backpack full of everything she owns. Inside is her laptop, a second pair of jeans and a t-shirt, a gun and a picture of her father and mother in a park somewhere. The clothes she wears for her stunts are owned by her manager and stay in the tour bus.
