Well, this was certainly a new experience! Dante Sparda had been through a lot of things in his life, but never... had he been a horse. It was... odd, to say the least. He had hooves now, four of them... and no hands. But still had his guns and sword.
How in the world was this supposed to work? With a little snorting sound, the demon-hunter decided he had better figure it out, and quickly. What if there were like... demon horses around here or something? He'd have to take care of them!
And that meant learning how to use this new body of his...
So he'd found a sort of secluded little clearing in the woods and was "practicing", though at the moment, it looked much more like he was mindlessly flailing about.

Fuu had been in this place for a while. Long enough to determine that this was definitely not home, nor was it Rayearth. Though finding herself a horse was a shock, that was certain. She was at least thankful she hadn't needed her glasses anymore, or there would be some trouble getting them on if they happened to fall.
But wandering around here wasn't very much of a past time either. She had found it quite confusing that she still had her school uniform here, and more so that it fit. In itself that was one of the bigger mysteries and she was just as confused about that as anything.
But, as long as she'd been wherever it was, she hadn't really come across a single soul aside from birds and other seemingly normal animals. Snapped out of her thoughts for a moment, Fuu peers around in the trees, hearing something. It was certainly larger and heavier than a fox. Maybe it would be someone to speak with, or she was getting too hopeful.

Dante currently had the hilt of his sword gripped in teeth and was attempting to use it to fight a host of imaginary enemies, hacking at bushes and trees as best he could. He still had yet to figure out how to fire the stupid guns without fingers to pull triggers...
But this worked well enough. So long as he didn't trip over his own feet.
"HyaaahhOOOFOWSHIT!" came a sudden cry from that clearing, as the red-coated Soquili somehow managed to not only fall head over ... hooves... but also drop the sword and slice up a leg in the process.

Fuu stops in her tracks for a moment at the yell. That definitely wasn't just another animal, it was a voice. She trots towards the clearing, slowing to a walk when she nears the edge of the trees to peer out into the clearing.
Seeing a bunch of red material and a soquili, and then a sword on the ground, she hesitates to walk out a bit. The sword was out of reach, so it should be safe. Maybe?
"Are you alright? That.. was you that yelled just now, wasn't it?"

Oops! Dante craned his head around to see just who had shown up and then scrambled up to his feet, leaving the sword where it was for the moment. "I'm fine!" he said quickly, tossing head to settle hair (mane, whatever~) back into place again.
And he didn't even seem to notice the way blood was running down one leg - figuring it should heal quickly enough, even in this form.

Fuu looks just a bit skeptical as she walks a bit more into the clearing. "Are you sure? You're leg is bleeding." Now, if she wasn't a horse she could have probably helped by making a bandage of some sort, but that was apparently out of the question.
She eyes the sword again slightly, idly wondering what had happened to hers back on Rayearth. "If you are alright, what were you doing?"

Dante glanced down at the wound and shifted a little to get weight off that leg. "It should stop pretty soon," he said cheerfully, tossing head a bit. At least his coat hadn't gotten cut up too - since it was the leg where the sleeve was already half-gone.
"Uhm. I was... practicing," he said then, bending down to get teeth around the hilt of that sword again and then twisting to slide the thing into a sort of harness on his back.

Fuu watches him, idly wondering how he could crane his neck to put the sword away without hurting it a little. "Practicing what? From the sounds of it, you attacked yourself with that sword."

With a flick of his tail and another toss of that head, Dante grinned at the mare. "Well. Yea, it did kinda seem like that I guess," he conceded. "But! That wasn't the point of it all. Point is... s'hard to manage a sword with just my mouth, right?"
Especially as he really had to curb the instinct to yell out taunts as he attacked. It didn't work too well like this. "And I'm not used to doing it that way. So ... practice."

Fuu looks at him oddly for a moment longer. "Not used to it? Would that mean you just found your sword recently, or you weren't always like that?" Hm, or was it neither of those. She hadn't even seen a sword around here anywhere. But that wasn't to say that there could be one lying around to be found, lost by someone or.. something. Better to stop thinking already before she gave herself a headache. Giving a quick shake of her head, she merely watches him and waits to see if he'd answer that.

"Second guess was right, sweetheart," Dante replied at that, tossing his head just a bit. "Wasn't always a four-legged thing ... nope. Used to have hands to swing this thing around." A little pause, and he mumbled, "And shoot with..." He really sort of missed the guns.
"Don't even know for sure how the hell this happened. How 'bout you? You always been a horse?" he asked then, stamping a hoof and snorting softly.
Not too many horses that he knew of wandered around wearing clothing. So he had to pretty much assume the same sort of thing maybe happened to her as had to him.
