The screen towering above the stadium began to rotate clockwise, building anticipation with each full rotation, but finally it began to slow. The battlefield would be...
THE FIRE FIELD!!
A series of thick rock pillars, all different sizes of height, reach towards the stadium ceiling from a pool of hot lava. While there is a fire-proof net far below to catch any pokemon that falls off the platforms, the rock pillars themselves are very hot to touch. They can cause burns if your pokemon stand still for a set period of time. The air around the field is very heavy from the extreme heat.

"You're... fast...." Renekai panted to her Delibird, whom she had been chasing to the stadium. "You really want to fight, don't you? Well, I won't hold you back. Let's do this!"
"Del!"
Renekai and Bell took their places. As the two realized where they were, Renekai knew why she was sweating so much. "The fire field...? This can't be much worse for two ice-type Pokémon, can it? Oh well... You can still teach that Dewgong a lesson!"

"Iyaaa~So unlucky Albireo!" Luna half laughed at her pokemon as she flung out his ball into the field.
Albireo let out a small whining noise as he rolled around on a pillar. HOT! He let out some water from his mouth to temporarily cool down the platform. Satisfied, he let out has tongue and panted happily towards his opponent.
"Hey Rene~I see you got a pokemon of your own now. Let's start, shall we?" She asked.

"Delllll...." Bell ran at full speed towards Albireo, bag slung over her shoulder. She was remarkably fast for her size and proportion. "Iii!" Bell swung herself at the Dewgong, ready to rake his eyes with her claws.

"Wh4?" Albireo asked confused, barely rolling over on the pillar in time to save his eyes and recieve a bad scratch on his back instead.
"Haha, Albireo, you're rusty, aren't you? Too much play and not enough battles for you!" Luna teased her pokemon. "Okay! Well, let's get serious now!" She said.
She was immediately replied by an enthusiastic bark from Albireo. The ice pokemon started to recall his previous battles. Yes! Trainer always commanded follow up attack after hit. Yes. He would hit turkey and make master happy and get fish!
Albireo's eyes narrowed in determination as he swung his tail behind his back at Bell. As the swing came, the tail started to glow blue. This was going to hurt!

"Watch out, Bell!" Renekai warned, but it was too late. The tail hit and sent Bell flying.
Bell slammed into a pillar, then plummeted down. She was saved by the net, but it took her a minute to get back up. Bell staggered to her feet, then swung her head toward her opponent. She would get him back.
"Easy, Bell..." Renekai said slowly. "We can still win. Ice beam!"
Bell aimed carefully, then started to charge an icy blue ball in her beak. It grew and started to move out of her open beak. As it reached the size of a larged soccer ball, Bell released the freezing energy at Albireo. She hoped to freeze that dumb Dewgong to the bone!

"Haha! We won't let you freeze us yet!" Luna shouted. "Albireo! Use your own icebeam!" The trainer commanded, pointing her finger forward with her excitement.
Albireo barked as his horn glowed. A blue sphere formed in front of it, quickly turning into a full-fledged beam that met up with Bell's own beam. The beams clashed, pushing at each other.
The dewgong let out another ear-splitting bark, putting more energy into his blast. "74k3 7#1s 7urk3h! He shouted.

Bell growled as she felt her body freeze. Still, this wouldn't hold her for long. If only she could move out of the way, even a little!

"Okay Albireo! Great job!" Luna cheered to her Dewgong. "We're going to have a nice celebration after this battle, eh?" She was met by a happy bark and a small tail wag. "Good! Now let's continue! This time we're trying something new, cortesy of Nine! Natural gift!" She commanded, giving Albireo an encouraging thumbs up.
Albireo barked, the belue berry tied around his neck glowed and...HOMGWUT? Electricity cackled around it. "W00o00o! fr13d 7urk3#!" Albireo howled in excitement as he commanded the electricity to lock onto the frozen Bell.

Bell broke free of the icy outer layer of ice just as the attack hit. Bell gave a squawk of protest and her feathers stuck out at odd angles. Infuriated, Bell shot another Ice Beam at the Dewgong.
"Don't get so angry!" Renekai scolded. "You need to concentrate! Wait for my command."

"Haha, hot-headed is she?" Luna asked Rene cheerfully, not minding the least when she saw Albireo blink as he was hit in the face with Ice Beam. She found it quite funny actually.
Of course, Albireo did not find it funny for his face to be frozen. Okay...well, maybe a little. But it was hard to breath! He didn't like that! Albireo slammed his tail on the ground slightly aggrevated, letting out an weird deep sound from his throat, muffled by the ice.

Renekai ignored Luna and simply ordered the angry Delibird to repeat the attack.
It took all of Bell's self control to prevent herself from pummeling the helpless Dewgong out of the icy layering. Hit him again?? But this was her chance! Sure, the ice was a bit thin, but... Bell took a deep breath. "I hate you, Dewgong," she hissed before releasing another Ice Beam.

"Gruu?" Albireo said, shaking his head to get rid of the last chunks of ice and missing Bell's statement completely. Suddenly, he got hit once more in the stomache. Albireo frowned. That was where his food was! He snorted and gave a half whine, making Luna laugh even more.
"My my Albireo, what a large belly you have there!" The trainer said, having another small giggle fit. "Just hang on, we'll get our revenge soon, neh?" She added.
