Battleground: A thick forest. Some trees are large and old with a looming presence while others are still newborn. Small ferns and other plants dot the landscape below. Vines snake between and around trees, some dangle down towards the ground. Light peaks through the leaves of the trees and give the place a surreal and peaceful look.

((I'm not entirely sure how the battling works, but I'll start I suppose?))
Such a peaceful day it was, here in the forest. What could go wrong? It was midday and Siwa had run into nobody, just the way she liked it. The young stantler walked calmly, a rare sight for any who might see it, as she was normally on edge and generally upset, but not today. It wast too calm. Too perfect.
With a casual flick of her ear, Siwa decided to wander a bit further away from her usual area, and started heading south. Though it was unfamiliar to her, she wasn't worried. Her sense of direction was wonderful and she could always find her way back home.

(Let's roll a 6-sided dice to see who goes first, that's what we usually do on our intro posts :3 )
"Chu!" ChuChu shouted, pointing towards the direction of a clearing. She had heard SOMETHING there. Maybe it was another opponent for her! Or a friend. Or or or...it could just be Nine teasing them...
Luna tilted her head. "Something there ChuChu?" She asked, walking towards the clearing curiously.
ChuChu jumped ahead of her trainer, cheeks already gathering energy just in case it WAS an enemy. She was right...kinda. A pokemon! A strange one too! She had never seen this pokemon before. "Rai rai! Raichu!" She said to the deer pokemon, asking something along the lines of "You! Are you going to harm my trainer? Do I have to beat you up?"
She knew how this region worked. It was be-hostile-and-on-guard unless they have proven to be your friend or get beaten up immediately when it came to wild pokemon. Zatao was a harsh region at times. Now if only her trainer would understand that...

((Oh! That works <3 ))
Siwa snorted. What a way to ruin her day! "Trainer? Why did you bring a trainer into MY woods?" She quickly went from a peaceful looking deer to a fierce opponent, pawing at the ground in an irritated fashion as she looked around for this 'trainer'.
The stantler glared at the Raichu, "Beat ME up? Why I never!" She sounded infuriated, but decided to wait before attacking. She loved a good fight, but she wasn't really in the mood at the moment. "I suggest you leave, little thing." She warned, "There's no way I'll let you or your human get out of here unscathed if you make me mad."
Siwa's icy eyes locked with ChuChu's, as if trying to stare her down. It was almost as if Luna wasn't there. She despised humans, but she knew full well that they couldn't communicate with pokemon. The only way she might get out of a fight was through this Raichu, so she'd give it a shot.

Luna frowned, she dislikd not understanding pokemon very well. But she could make out the outlines of this. ChuChu considered the wild stanler a threat and apparently, the stanler would not let them go without a battle. But it was fine with her. She stood silent for a moment, waiting for the conversation between the two pokemon to pass. Luna trusted ChuChu to be her speaker.
ChuChu growled. "I could beat you up!" She shouted angrily to the other pokemon. "And we're exploring. You have no right to claim these expansive woods as your own! It's everyone's to live and travel in!" The electricity on her cheeks flared.
ChuChu stared back at Siwa, not intimidated at the least. She had faced countless opponents ranging from the fearsome Isamu of Inhinx to large rapidashes to the cold-hearted Ryou. This pokemon was nothing compared to the perils she faced!
Of course, ChuChu kept her guard up. She was alert and ready for an attack. Underestimating opponents was an unwise thing to do, she had learned that the hard way.

Unfortunately, Siwa underestimated her opponents quite often, and had been hurt many times because of it. However, she was not one to learn the lesson before, and she wasn't about to start now. "Nonsense! This place is for the wilderness and you have no business here!" She snorted, "You don't see me exploring in your cities and homes, I expect the same."
As ChuChu stared right back, Siwa lost her temper entirely at the small rodent, charging recklessly toward her with her horns pointed directly at her. There was no way she was letting them go without a fight now, and she hoped to be the winner in this case.

"ChuChu! Megapunch!" Luna shouted, jumping out of the stanler's way. Being maimed did not sound very fun. She took refuge behind a tree. Yes, as ridiculous and stupid as that sounded, Luna could not think of a better place to hide. She would have loved to attempt to climb a tree, but that would look even more stupid.
ChuChu nodded. Her fist started to glow as she watched the hooves of the stanler come closer. "NOW!" She thought. ChuChu jumped, grabbing onto a horn while her leg was nicked with a cut by a smaller branch. ChuChu slammed her fist down at the horn. "Take this!"

((How do you tell how much HP they have left...? *newbie?* xD))
Siwa stomped at the ground furiously as her horns seemed to do little damage. Her head twisted to one side as the impact from the punch sent the full force of the blow through her horns. Though the horns felt nothing, the rapid twist of the neck did hurt a good bit.
"Foolish rat!" She seethed, whipping her head around violently in an attempt to remove her. Helpless for the moment, she kicked her rear legs in anger as she went into a bucking frenzy to try and get ChuChu off of her antler.

(Siwa has 800 HP at the beginning. An attack that lands on 2-4 on the dice takes off 100 hp. 1 takes off no HP. 6 takes off 200 HP. So you're at 700 HP now)
ChuChu recieved several more scratches from the wild outburst, but she hung on tightly, clenching her teeth and clinging with all her strength. She faintly heard the words "Thunder!" from her trainer. That was all she needed. In an instant, she charged up around 10,000 volts of energy.
With a constipated face and a long "CHUUUUUUUUUUU!" She released it all into her surroundings. If Siwa didn't get off the electric rat fast, she would surely be electricuted.

Siwa's eyes widened as she realized was ChuChu was doing, but it was already too late. She groaned loudly and fell to the ground as the electricity pulsed through her body, and lay still for a moment.
"You... Little... Pest!" She panted, and with a quick flip of her antlers she tried once again to dislodge ChuChu. An attack like that had to at least drain some of her energy, so perhaps now she could regain equal footing with the yellow beast. Paying little attention to whether ChuChu had released her antler yet, she stood back up and began thrashing madly again, her hooves coming dangerously close to the tree where Luna was hiding, though not quite close enough to make contact with her or her hiding spot.

ChuChu was hurled off the antlers and slammed into a tree. "Ouch..." She said, not enjoying the tree bark that was now lodged into her back. But her pain immediately was tossed out the window when she saw the deer was going for her TRAINER. This was bad. Very bad.
Luna stared at the stanler. Well, THIS wasn't very good. Not good at all. Geez, why the heck did she leave her spear back at Katrina? Stupid girl. But this wasn't the time to think about it. She had a large and potentially dangerous stanler close to her and needed to draw it away as soon as possible. What to do...oh. She could just make ChuChu attack. Right. Great idea.
"Try to hold it down! Thunder again ChuChu!" Luna shouted to ChuChu, edging away from Siwa a little and spacing herself a bit from the two pokemon.
ChuChu lept up immediately and launched herself at the stanler. Her trainer was at stake now. She had to win! ChuChu lept and clung to the stnaler's back, clinging to it with all her strength. "Stay away!" ChuChu shouted, letting out another 10,000 volt shock.

I'll get you yet. Siwa thought to herself, hardly noticing how dangerously close she was to Luna. All of her attention was focused on ChuChu, and all of her strength.
She had only just realized that ChuChu was finally off of her antler when she felt the Raichu upon her back. Anticipating another electric attack, she quickly fell to one side in an attempt to crush ChuChu between her and the ground. As she fell, Siwa felt the Thunder pulse through her muscles once more, and she felt her strength beginning to fade.

"ChuChu! Get off quickly with an iron tail!" Luna shouted loudly. She was a bit relieved that the stanler was ignoring her. Well, it sure did give ChuChu some determination! She grinned. They would pull through this. Definately.
ChuChu reacted immediately to her master's command, not having much time to think anyways as the large pokemon threatened to squish her. She scurried to the other side of the Stanler, away from the side that was getting crushed, and started to leap off.
But before she left, she gave the pokemon a parting farewell present. ChuChu brought down her now glowing and metallic tail at the stanler. The attack would also, hopefully, give her a better push off the stanler and put some distance between them if the pokemon were to go on another frenzy.

Siwa grunted as she hit the ground, but something was wrong... She was on the ground, but JUST the ground! ChuChu wasn't there! She groaned as the Iron Tail made contact with her side, No, I won't lose this! She thought, already feeling a large bruise beginning to form. Not today!
With surprising speed Siwa rolled onto her feet once more and sprang into the air, waving her hooves madly at ChuChu all the way. There was no way she could let them into her forest... Siwa had a new determination in her eyes, a new fierceness in her kicks.
