Starcraft 2 is coming (hopefully soon) and personally I am really excited. I was also curious how many other poeple are interested in it. I figured we could have a bit of discussion here about it, and maybe we'll even start up an RP based on it if enough people are interested.
So what do you think?

Space Marines are cool, but the Protoss are pretty darn nasty. If we're talking a regular Space Marine troop, I think the Zealot would win (specially with that power dash they showcased in one of the gameplay trailers). But some of the space marine elites and heroes could handle a Zealot easily enough.

Looks like two votes for Zealots so far. I agree that Zealots are pretty nasty in close combat, but Space Marines are monsters as well. Still, I think the Zealot's size and advanced technology probably would give him an edge, not to mention his innate psychic power, and accompanying psi blades. Either way it would be an interesting fight. Both are large, and physically strong, but the Zealot is more agile. They both have heavy duty armour (Space Marine power armour, and Zealot plasma shields), and powerful weaponry. I think the psi blades beat out a chain sword, though a power sword would certainly give the Space Marine an edge. And bolters are powerful enough to do some damage, depending on how long the Space Marine got to use it before the Zealot closed the distance, which could be very short, considering that power dash Tarria mentioned.
