I want to create a Punk Lolita outfit, but I don't know how to start, what materials I need, or what it should look like. I admit that my sewing isn't the best thing, but I'll try. Can you please give me pointers/advice on how to create my outfit. As well as post pictures or links to show me what it should look like. Thank you.

Me know this is an old topic, however I suggest because you are not too good at sewing to do the following: 1. Go to the mall or a thrift store, bring your/a petticoat if possible. Find a skirt that goes nicely with that, possibly red, black, plaid or some neon kind of color. If there is not much lace or anything, I suggest going to your local fabric store and buying some lace and/or patches to put on it. 2. JC Pennies is currently having a great sale, and this year has several loli-able skirts and lovely blouses on sale. If you get a white blouse (which would be best, next to a black blouse) then also see if you can get a vest to wear over it, pinstripe is always good and a few buttons or patches never hurt. 3. Go to stores even such as HotTopic and look for accessories! Ties, buttons, necklaces, large chunky braclets, belts, hair ties, stockings, ext.
Well, that is what me can offer 3nodding as for the shoes, Hot Topic and Deb are always good places to look for platforms, or even Shoe Heaven or thrift stores if needed.
