Die having being loved during your lifetime but eventually forgotten over time...
Or be remembered with hatred by people. E.g. Hitler wasn't exactly a nice fellow... a lot of people remember him with hate. But he's still remembered and his legacy is still carried on through that.

Heh, easy. Being remembered is so much better, doesnt matter whether hated or not. What they say about never truly dying if you are remembered is true.

I would rather die & be forgotten as opposed to be remembered by how hateful I was. There is enough hate in this world already, why would you want to contribute more to it?...

1) do not just assume id love for people to remember me because of the bad things i did, im just responding to the poll's limited answers.
2) If people feel like remembering you for whatever reason ITS THEIR CHOICE, if they dwell on their feelings of remorse, hate, etc... then its only going to ruin them and has no effect on me.
3) I agree, there is already plenty to hate in this world. I just choose to be indifferent to things that could piss me off
