Hey, I haven't been posting for at least three weeks now. After the RCMP visited my house, things kinda got crazy.

What? You want to know WHY they visited? Well, I was having a debate in Facebook about the morality of a forced registry for peedofiles, with mandatory testing, and this woman living in Alberta somehow got the idea that "Action =/= Attraction" REALLY meant "I RAEP LITTLE KIDDIES LOLOL". Facebook, as some of you may know, lists the full name of a person as well as their school. HAHA OOPS.

Seriously, people are idiots sometimes. Myself included. But anyways, that's why I haven't been on much. ^-^

On the plus side (minus side. X_X) Aaryn loves me. Coincidentally, his girlfriend is out of town for three weeks. Yay (----) coincidences.

Perhaps you didn't learn anything from Violent_Irony's letter. Let me clarify it for you.

A word has no power until you give it power. Logically, there is no reason why any vibration in the air, or combination of letters, should be any worse than any other. However, when you say, "you can't say THAT word here", you imply that "That word is too unspeakably horrible to use in a Christian guild". You GIVE that word power over us, and anything other than God that holds power over us is terrible.

For that matter, why is the word f--- inherently dirty? What makes its use as a means of self-expression verboten? Even if we decide that "profaning", in the biblical sense, refers to so-called "curse words", who gets to decide why one word is acceptable and another isn't? Why is f--- wrong and copulate acceptable? What makes the word bum so much "cleaner" than a**? Did someone at some point take a wad of literary toilet paper to it?

How about terms of hatred? Have you noticed how often people use the words f**, dyke, ******, k**e, s**c, w*****k, and the like in Christian guilds ? (f** especially. I've seen guild captains use it.) How about the more generic insults like idiot, loser, stupid, geek, freak, or retard?

Body parts. C---, c---, d**k, c---, boobs, trunk, a**. These words are funny because they actually came about as a means to get AROUND censorship. (Some of them.)

So... Why do we only ban those six "bad" words? (In alphabetical order; a**, b***h, damn, f---, hell, s**t.) Surely you can tell us EXACTLY what makes them so much worse than other words in the English language.

=D Oh, and since I've turned this into a debate on swear words, they're allowed in the context of the debate.
