Have you ever lost a game, console, etc. before? Have you ever had a glitchy game or a game that corrupted all of your data? Or are you just plain lucky and have had no problems whatsoever? I want to hear what my fellow guild members have to share.

Take for example my very old NES. It survived for the longest time. It fell off my tv shelf quite a few times and still managed to carry on. But one day it stopped turning on. Poor NES. I'm sure its in a better place now. And I can never forget the time I let my friend borrow a DBZ gameboy advance game. He left it in his pockets. And put it in the washing machine. sweatdrop *Sigh*

I learned this lesson the hard way:

NEVER LEAVE YOUR MEMORY CARD ON YOUR CONSOLE WHEN IT'S TURNED OFF!

It may sound silly, but one time a blackout happened and the ps2 was off, and the data form Klonoa and Legend of the Dragoon was erased! I have never left a memory card in a console ever since...

Umm, about 7 years ago when Pokémon Silver came out, I was mega psyched with it. I even got a lv 83 Blastoise (wow I still remember) and I was at my friends house playing videgames with her. When I left, I forgot my Silver game, and she lent it to her cousin, and the little harpie b**** erased all of the data! I wanted to kill her.

Just yesterday, I was at my dad's office using my PSP, playing Daxter. Suddenly the PSP had a little glitch, but then went on fine. Out of nowhere it froze right when the game was autosaving. The PSP turned off and on, and then it said file corrupted crying crying Wanna know the sad part? I had just gotten the flamethrower attachment for the spray gun crying And I like killing using flames! crying

My brother used to get demo discs from Gamestop... this one, the demo with Viewtiful Joe on it (I'm sure many people know the one) had a glitch or virus on it... they sent a letter notification of it a day too late, all the data on me and my brothers PS2 memory cards was erased... crying all the hard work, I had just gotten almost all the creature forms on Dark Cloud 2 (I was only missing three) and they were all level 15... crying talk about a lot of wasted hard work

and wnile we're talking about pokemon games, on my old crystal version I had out of a lot of hard work gotten a Raikou to level 99, this was gonna be my first non-glitch/cheat level 100, fully raised, not even a rare candy... I spilled coffee on the game crying

Oh the tears we shed*sarcasm*

I had gotten a GC when they first came out for Xmas(around the time they were giving away free LOZ collectors editions with the console) and the poor thing lived through 5 years of best-ofs and worst-ofs and falling off the shelf and getting chewed by my dog(please don't ask). Then one day it would'nt take discs, so we sold it to Game Stop....for 20$ and got a refurbished black one, which my little sis declared hers.

at one point my rabbit Boo had his cage under the shelving unit which held my GC, and the cords from the controllers would hang down from that infront of his cage. Needless to say, my favorite indigo controller had it's cord chewed straight through.*sob*But the rabbit was just fine and is with us to this day, 3 years LATER!!!!! stressed

And be VERY careful when playing Harvest Moon a wonderful life! The memory gets corrupted way to easily and if you get as far as I did(4th year) then you'll be swearing up a storm of punctuation marks when you find it's all been erased with that stupid message " memory in slot one has been corrupted"!

I have so many broken controllers sweatdrop I took the ones I couldn't use apart and use the parts to fix other controllers... I got a free controller from a game store, they couldn't sell it since the 'A' button was broken so they said here, fix it it's yours. now it's my only working GC controller gonk

Game consoles... I don't have much trouble... although my PS2 is getting so old I'm not sure how much longer the poor things gonna last...

and more game stories, my nephew has a bad habit of chewing on discs... one of them, Grand Theft Auto 3, still plays but has a massive tendency to freeze now... the other, Phantom Brave, broken... won't even read...

We recently moved and I didn't pay as much attention to possible missing games as I should have... most of them I know who has them, but one of them, Zelda: Twilight Princess, is unaccounted for crying

I used to have a lot more N64 games but one time I lent my oldest sister the console and the games... she pawned and lost most of them... I probably shouldn't have lent her my Final Fantasy games, Chrono Trigger, and Legend of Dragoon ninja

I told her if she pawned them I would hunt her down and massacre her... I'm pretty sure she learned her lesson after the first time... I hope... eek I'll have to ask her about them next time I see her...

Such sad stories. crying

I forgot to mention the time when my house was struck by lightning. It killed my gamecube(and my computer). Luckily the memory cards were ok. Yes I take them out when the console is shut off. xp I bought a new gamecube eventually, but it was a sad few weeks without it. Now I am super paranoid. I make sure to unplug all of my game consoles especially if the sky turns dark.
