With a large flip of her mane, Tequila trotted forward while feeling the sturdy breeze behind her. The day was comfortable, and the cooler weather was bringing her spirits up. She enjoyed the atmosphere when it was cold, and was thankful that winter was fast approaching. She couldn't handle the heat for very long, so she enjoyed the winter season for as long as she could every year. It was a silly game of hers, to soak up as much snow and ice as she could. She was honestly odd for enjoying the winter that much, but the mare didn't let that phase her! She always knew she had her own opinions and thoughts, and she enjoyed living life that way. Maybe it made her stubborn.. but Tequila believed that it gave her personality at the same time.

The days were shorter, and Tequila enjoyed waking up and exercising before noon hit. She did her same routine every morning, and the same thing was done on this usual cloudy morning. It was a bit uncomfortable for the mare to run, since the wind was carrying her hair in all directions. But once she ran, she felt ten times better, knowing that being healthy would help her sustain a rich and youthful attitude. "Now what to do.." she mumbled, while looking at the quiet land beside her. It seemed as though no one was around, and that made the mare frown a bit. Hopefully she could find someone to talk to, since she was hoping to finally have a social day out!

Unfortunately for Khaleb, he was unlike Tequila in her appreciation for cooler moments and was currently having a hard time adjusting to the drastic climate change around him. What happened to the sun being out on warm lazy days for weeks at a time? What about the blue skies as far as the eye could see? He snorted, glaring up at the gray clouds that obscured whatever rays of sunlight that could have helped him tremendously in his quest for comfort.

Oh no, he was made to endure warmer weather and it was obvious: fine, short hairs that covered his body in multi-colored patches; shortly-cropped mane that stood stiffly upright against the back of his neck; and a tail that was more useful for swatting gathering flies than protection against cold gusts of wind.

It was rare to catch the stallion in a bad mood, but today's windy agenda had put him down on the dumps. Ears flicked back and bitten in cold, he went for a walk to find some shelter to stay in until the plummeting gales pass. Placing a final hoof on the earth, he surveyed his surroundings with a squinted gaze. Instead of finding a cave, or a thick wall of vegetation, his eyes rested on a dark figure in the distance.

Curious. Despite his foul mood, he couldn't pass up at the chance of some social activity...besides, they may know an area to shield oneself from all of....this.

"Hello?" He nickered, taking a few steps forward to have a better look at the new comer.

Tequila was facing the other direction until she heard the voice call out to her. It was a male's voice most definitely, and when she cast her eyes on the figure in the distance, she was enthralled by his many colors! "Oh, hello!" she then called back, while feeling her hair shuffle in the other direction now. Goodness, she just couldn't catch a break with this wind! She probably looked crazy, with strands of hair flying everywhere!

Since the other figure seemed friendly enough to acknowledge her, Tequila made her way over to where the stallion stood, and smiled excitedly at his appearance. "It has been awhile since I have seen a unicorn." she then remarked, in a very cheerful voice. "I am surprised you were able to find me in all of this wind.." Tequila then rolled her eyes, as if in motion with nature itself. "But anyways, my name's Tequila. What's yours, stallion?" she then lowered her head politely, and gave a little curtsy to finish the move.

"You must be brave to out here battling these winds.. or maybe you are as crazy as I?" The mare then raised a brow jokingly, wondering what the heck the stallion was doing in such conditions! The same could have been asked of her...
