A few things I found:

Quote:
Itadaki Street
Itadaki Street is a series of PS2 boardgames that was originally produced by Enix alone. After Square and Enix merged to form Square Enix, they released a special version of Itadaki Street, in which characters from Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest cameo. Cloud, Tifa, Aerith and other Final Fantasy characters appear in this game.

Until just now, I thought that Itadaki Street only had Cloud and Aeris in it. Cleris fans seemed to point it out frequently, that "Cloud and Aeris are featured in Itadaki street! biggrin D"
But, it appears Tifa is in the game too! That's marvelous new, eh? x3

Advent Children
Advent Children is a sequel to FF7 that originally started as nothing but a 20-minute special movie. It was written by Kazushige Nojima and starred only Cloud, Tifa and a few kids. After choosing the theme of 'survival' and 'family', a longer story was fleshed out. Cloud and Tifa were naturally the main characters of the movie.

Hm.. I wonder if this is true or not? Does anyone know? Is Advent really based on survival and family and built off of Cloud and Tifa, or does that seem just a little too biased? (Since they provided no actual proof of this) I think that AC showed family and survival for sure, but I thought it was more about Cloud's development as a character, and more of his struggles to get over his guilt. If it branched off of Cloti though, that would be an interesting fact... if it is indeed, a fact. xD

Quote:
Cloud returns Tifa's smile with one of his own - his first true smile in the movie - indicating the acceptance of his past and his new future with her and the kids. Nobuo Uematsu was inspired by the idea of Cloud smiling and named the track 'Cloud Smiles' when composing the music for this scene.

Nao, I'm pretty sure this is mis-info. I believe that Cloud and Tifa did share a smile, (some may or may not disagree) but I don't believe the song is called Cloud's "smiles" but rather, Cloud's "smile", which intermingles with Aeris's theme. That to me, doesn't show that Nobuo was inspired from Cloud JUST smiling at Tifa and the children, as well as Zack. It's obvious whose smile is important--- and that smile is the one belonging to Aeris. Not trying to defend a Cleris point of view here, I'm just saying that Aeris's smile is what Cloud's Smile refers to. We all saw how torn up and guilty he was after her death. I believe that seeing her smile again, hearing her tell him it was alright, and finally his guilt being lifted, is WHY Cloud smiles. Not because he's madly in love with her, like most Clerises like to claim. Of course, this is a big point on their side, I do believe. But, I don't like how some of them ignore the fact that Zack IS there (not as focused on or not) and that Cloud does not smile at Tifa but rather, his entire family. I still don't believe that they would have zoomed in on Tifa showed Cloud looking STRAIGHT at her with a smile on his face, and THEN showing him turning to the kids, if he weren't smiling at her. I mean, according to the Ultimania, apparently it says "Cloud smiled at his family and friends" but mentions nothing about Tifa individually... so why was the movie seeming different? :/ It didn't really go into Aeris's smile either in the Ultimania then, either. Because it said "Aeris and Zack watched over them, smiling". But apparently... nothing about Cloud smiling at the two of them?
Okay. Now I am confused. Some-one clarify. XD

Quote:
As Aerith walks away with Zacks, the two canon couples are established with finality. Cloud returns to Tifa and Aerith returns to Zacks. According to the extas, Cloud even takes time off his delivery work to spend a day with his family after the movie.

I can partly agree with this. Just seeing AC, I can agree with this. But after reading Maiden, I must disagree of course. Aeris treats Zack quite coldly the whole time during the story, almost as if she is defending her true feelings lie with Cloud.
But I find it strange... that while thinking of Cloud, she awakened Zack instead. Hmm, makes one wonder, doesn't it? And no, Aeris walking out the door with Zack doesn't make it "TWUE LUBB". Walking out of a door with some-one doesn't mean a dern thing, of course. Maiden really does show this.
I really don't know what to think at this point, about who Aeris really loves. The creators are still making it unclear. In my eyes, anyway.

Quote:
A big emphasis is put on Aerith and Zacks' relationship; their promise - mirroring Cloud and Tifa's promise - was one of the first things about the game revealed to the fans.

I haven't played CC yet, dernit. I comes out in March, here. I can't wait to finally play it and get a clearer view of things. I find this interesting though, that apparently in CC Zack and Aeris's promise mirrors Cloud and Tifa's.

Well....I know that it was originally supposed to be a simple 20 minute special only involving Cloud, Tifa, Denzel, and Marlene...however I'm not sure if the main theme is what they say. I haven't seen any article or whatnot discussing the depth of the story in the 20 minute special.
