IMMA CHARGIN' MY LAZER!!!
The Fire Field
A series of thick rock pillars, all different sizes of height, reach towards the stadium ceiling from a pool of hot lava. While there is a fire-proof net far below to catch any pokemon that falls off the platforms, the rock pillars themselves are very hot to touch. They can cause burns if your pokemon stand still for a set period of time. The air around the field is very heavy from the extreme heat.

Entering the battle field once more, Kailana stepped out to the designated trainer battling box. She pulled her black scarf from her around her neck to reveal the full extent of the scar on her face just below the eyepatch on her right eye, tucking the fabric into her belt.
She eyed the opposite of the field, knowing quite well who would be there before looking down at her faithful Isamu. "This time Isamu.."
Isamu padded and stopped beside his owner, fully healed though a tint of red still in his chest fur that Kailana couldn't seem to fully extinguish.
He knew well what his trainer was trying to say but knew she didn't want to jinx it this time around. Isamu knew that neither of them could take a loss again.

"Fire this time? Wow...this is new!" Luna said, looking up at her pokemon. "You think you can handle it Prince?" She taunted.
Prince snorted. Of course he could. With a large flap of wings, he flew towards the arena, slowly raising upwards the closer he got due to the warm air giving him a boost. "Geoooooooooo!" Prince cried out, challenging Isamu.
"Hello again~" Luna said to the trainer, waving happily. "Let's get started, huh?"

"Pfft, don't get so cheery..." Kailana scoffed at the girl, clearly displeased with her happy-go-lucky personality. She paused to think a moment, picking her strategy, knowing that it would be extremely difficult to attack the pidgeot with ground attacks if he didn't land. The trainer bit her lip before commanding her pokémon, "Isamu, flamethrower, then Toxic!"
"ABSOL!!" Isamu howled as he lept out onto the field, out over the exposed molten magma several feet below and let out a charged flamethrower attack down below to hurl him higher into the air. He soared right next to Prince, his fangs ready to spew poison once he made contact.

Luna watched the absol jump up towards Prince, grinning as she realized the pokemon had just entered the air and was above the hot lava now. "Prince~Let's show them why you rule the air, ne?" She called out to her pokemon.
"GEOOOO!" Prince cried out furiously, his warcry. It was an indication that the true battle had started. Prince gave a hard downward flap with his wings to rise above Isamu's fangs. The movement also caused the winds below him to stir wildly in every direction.
As Prince thrust down his wings again to fly further and further away from Isamu's grasp, the winds below him grew wilder and wilder, threatening to cut anything in its reach. Isamu, unfortunately, was one trapped right in the middle of it.

"Heh.....AHA....AHAHAHA~!" Kailana's eye gleamed as she seemed to lose control of her emotions, cackling loudly as she watched the pokémon set a trap for her absol. "Isamu, let's let the blood fly!! Razor wind!"
"Abbb...SOLL!!!" The absol howled as it released all its pent up anger, curling his body into a sphere as he began spinning, faster and faster, creating his own deadly slicing wind. Prince's wind caught some of his fur, exposing his flesh as well as sending some fresh blood along with the gust to splatter towards the bird pokémon.
Isamu's spinning roatation allowed him to almost fly towards a stone pillar, grabbing onto its edge with his thick black claws, pulling himself up as he watched from below.

"Steel wing!" Luna immediately responded. In her mind, she was wondering if the other trainer was going crazy. Ah well. She wasn't exactly considered right in the head either.
Prince's wings glowed white before hardening and turning a metallic color. His eyes glowed red, performing a quick tailwind attack to increase his speed. As the wind started to pick up behind him, he flew straight through the chaotic winds, slicing through them with minor damage due to his speed and hardened wings.
Prince continued to advance to Isamu, slicing past him in a blur. At such a high speed, Prince wasn't absolutely sure he hit the other pokemon, but he knew that being sliced at that high speed would definately hurt.

He tried to dodge as quickly as possible, "Soll!!" Isamu winced as Prince's wing cut against his side, the cut adding a little more color to his fur.
"Grr," Kailana ony seemed to grow even more mad at the fighting display, why couldn't she win for once? What the hell was up with her technique/luck?! "Psycho cut, quickly!" She screamed, obviously getting too riled up.
Isamu quickly turned to catch the flying bird pokémon, hoping to make contact with his long horn against his skin.

Luna was too focused on observing the battle to notice the other trainer's frustration. This was the attack that the absol used on ChuChu. She knew exactly what to do, she had been planning since her review of their previous battle. "Twister!" She commanded.
Prince quickly brought down his wings, twisting them slightly. This movement caused him to ris up quickly in a spiral, creating a twister around him. It also allowed him to barely miss Isamu's attack, escaping with only a cut on his left talon.
He flew up higher to avoid his own twister attack and, hopefully, get out of the absol's attacking range.

The blood that leaked out from the absol's side was sent into the air by the twister's frenzy, creating a delightful battle-like pattern for the now gleaming Isamu.
"Heh," Kailana snickered as she watched the pidgeot fly higher, "Keep him grounded Isamu, Blizzard!"
The four legged pokémon began to grin just like his owner, throwing his maw up towards the top of the twister, Prince. "Abbb.....SOOOLLL!!!!" A wintery blast shot up from the absol as his paws ached, feeling the intense heat from the lava below.

"Prince! Raindance!" Luna shouted at the last minute before the blizzard attack was released. She knew that if Prince couldn't avoid the attack, the least he could do was reduce the damage the hot pillars would do to the bird.
Prince's eyes glowed for a quick second before he quickly flew above a pillar as he felt ice crawl up his wings. "Ge..." He said as he plummeted to the hot rock bellow, barely landing on his feet. Thankfully, the rain started to pour right afterwards, cooling down the rocks a little to reduce the burns it would cause him later as he remained stationary.

"Ehehehe," The trainer snickered as she had the pokémon right where she wanted him. "Isamu," she called out rather casually, "Make pidgeot pie, shadow claw."
Isamu, now wildly grinning, slowly walked over towards the frozen bird, a few drops falling from his coat with each step. He wiggled his toes, exposing his claws as they began to glow before leaping atop Prince with all his force, stepping and raking his claws against his exposed feathers.

Luna giggled inwardly at the joke, but she scolded herself. She should not be laughing at jokes about her pokemon being food! Gah! Bad Luna! "Com'mon Prince! We can pull through!" She shouted encouragingly to her pokemon.
'Easy for you to say...' Prince thought as pain wracked his body from Isamu's recent attack. He tried to wiggle his wings and found that the ice's hold had weakened. Perhaps it was due to the battlefield. He glared at Isamu with his red eyes vowing revenge.

Kailana grinned as she saw the feathers fly, Finally, this is what I wanted.. She tried her best to make eye contact with Luna, glaring with her single red eye, "You shant make fools of us again... Psycho cut."
The absol tried a different approach to the attack, his claws began to glow once more as he attacked quickly, knowing that in this condition the ice would melt rather quickly. "SOL! Absol, ab absol soool? (HA! Tell me, how does it feeeel?)" All for of his legs were busy, slashing furiously at Prince's exposed back.
