HELP I can't understand the interview and from mhat I can understand from using a web-translator he'll take a brake in 2010 but I can't understand for how long. Can anyone translate?

I don't know what to do of this... on one hand I'm glad he can see that he's human with his limits (the guy does need to rest every once in a while) and won't continue if he's works aren't good enough (like some artist do) but on the other hand it feels soooo soon... Well until 2010 we won't know enything for shore since he's always full of surprises... but it left a bittersweet feeling reading it sad

hmmmm you know... i tried to read it with my limited japanese ability, and i kinda gave up and went for translation-sites. so far, from gathering as much sense out of it... i think he is taking a break to work on his music and his health, instead of doing constant promos and such. i don't know... my info is only being pieced together from the google translations and word-lingo i'm getting. there is one short short sentence about him and SUGO's work. not sure what that was about, but it gave me the hint that he is working with Sugizo (sp?) for something. then there was the sentence about working himself to death. so guessing from that, it's about his health? sorry, not much help, but hope it gives an idea on what's going on. i think Gackt is in due for a MUCH needed break, and this news can't come any sooner. Glad to hear that he is going to be on a break till 2010.

oh to answer you Q... i think he said he's going on break for about 3-4 years. there is that one short sentence that says that. so yeah... 3-4 years... 2008-2010 is about 3 years. makes sense right?

Aww. D: I really do hope he doesn't stop in 2010, but.. If it's his choice, if he decides to do that.. D: I can't do anything about it.. But I do look forward to his new music.. I hope he doesn't stop. Gackt's music is what got me into J-Rock. A break is good, I just hope he doesn't quit.

That's a nice, long break that he really deserves. ^_^ I'm sure he will come back to music. Plus, I've waited longer for my favorite artists to continue their music so I'm fine with it, as long as he leaves us with more hot music videos.

i hear ya hoshinoame. he will. if not to perform personally, i just want him to continue to write songs. i think he writes wonderful songs. and may be do some acting? (i think his acting is fun to watch. not exactly the best in acting, but he tries and you can see the intensity and work he puts into it). :XP: lol.

yeah, i was shocked when some people said that he was quiting, and then it easied me when i read into it a bit more that he will be on a break. i don't think he will quite any time too soon. i can't say that he won't, cuz you know... everyone has to quit in some point in their lives. but anyways... i'm sure you will have a chance to see him perform. (^-^)
