WANTED
Suggestions on what to include inside of my Senior Project on Lolita. Ideas on what information is most important and conent that should be included inside of an informational Power Point presentaion.

I think it depends on what aspects of lolita you're going to focus on. There's a lot of information out there that you can use to make your presentation fabulous. I highly recommend that you look into the Lolita Handbook for information on the various styles. You should also possibly cover the concept of the fact that inside and outside of Japan, lolita communities are massive support systems for fans and followers to meet and greet, learn and teach, as well as trade, buy and sell items with one another. Another aspect you might want to cover is the concept of a lifestyle lolita versus just a follower of the fashion. Finally, you could cover the major Japanese brands, their histories in brief, and maybe mention a few off-brands and replica makers like Fanplusfriend Garden, Anna House, In the Starlight, or Candy Violet.

Thanks for the suggetions. I only have 10 minutes to discuss Lolita so I'm doing a general overview on it's origins, types, and influences in Japan and around the world. The website'll be a big help also ^_^

I think you should have a back-up subject though, because unless the class you're presenting to is an actual Fashion class. Otherwise it wouldn't seem like an appropriate subject, imo.

I've already wrote a 5 page report on it and my teacher LOVED it last year. She said it was one of the most interesting projects she'd seen! We're allowed to do them on anything that we want and I though doing my Senior Project on it would give me a chance to learn more about Lolita and also a chance to teach others about it.

i did a 12 page report on it for my college writing class. my teacher also loved it. I recommend you include the main aspects of each style so they get a taste of what it is but be sure to state clearly that it is fashion and not an underaged prostitute. good luck ^^

I too, did my Senior Project on Lolita (acctually Japanesque fashion but my porduct was a lolita dress).
The fashion guilds on livejournal where a huge help.
