scream I HATE THE DEVIL!!! I mean he gets battle power before I get a chance, and when I do I either can't get it on time b/c he doubles my freakin notes/messes me up and/or I get them and use them consecutively... but he just won't die!!! I swear he has easier notes!!! Man and I refuse to use cheats because I want to beat this game on my own. That means, sadly, I havn't gotten Through the Fire and the Flames yet. sweatdrop
As you could tell... I'm pretty pissed off that I was so close to beating the game (or at least getting through the last boss battle) and thought I could do it all in one day. But my fingers are sore from that song and the devil's cheating ways. gonk stressed scream

Lou is very much difficult.
You pretty much just have to play the song til you
1. Luck out and get some powers
or
2. He gets some of the crappier powers like the Whammy Bar.
Yeah, he is incredibly difficult, but that is half the point of him.
If he wasn't a challenge, then he'd be a pushover and not worth the time.
You can beat him, you just need to keep on trying.
I had to play him on Hard at least 30+ times before I finally SOMEHOW got enough powers to take him down.
It is also best that you wait til you have at least 2 powers before using them.
One power seems to have ZERO effect on him.

Well,it isn't EXACTLY zero effect.It only took me 2 tries to beat him on Expert.But learn one thing that Lou can use against you.LEFTY FLIP.Train yourself to do that by actually staying on the righty.I actually saw a dude at a Guitar Hero III tourney who actually got Lefty Flipped on Raing Blood during the Mosh section on Expert and he hit ALMOST ALL of the notes.That was when I lost,but that's beside the point.

it took me 50 tries on hard but i finally got it
1:try to survive his first attack and get the power(if you dont its ok)
2:GET THE SECOND POWER!! or most of the time hell use lefty and your dead right there. once u get the power use it when hes getting ready to do 20 notes at the same time and avoid getting hit
3:try to get the third power it doesnt really matter
4:if you got the first or third wait untill you are almost done with your solo then unleash what ever powers you got from the begining or in this solo
5:watch him die
6:FINISH HIM scream
it took me a lot of retrys but i hope this helps

I was sooooo crazy close to beating him today. But then I was looking at his screen too much and failed on my own haha. but he was flashing in the red Arg! so close.
I beat the game on medium though so I could unlock the dragon force song and I played it on quick play mode today on hard. I got 85% so not bad. smile

The way I beat him was I waited to get my first power (he always gets the first power so you just have to hope its whammy, amp, or cut string) and then keep that power until he is about to get another power and then use it so that he can't use his powers against me. Keep doing that until the song pauses which means your about play johnny's theme because the solos after johnny's theme are easier to play so stock up on 3 powers then use them all at once. It gets some getting used to but its pretty easy after that.

took me 4 tries to beat him on expert, then after that, 8 tries to beat him on hard. I almost got to the part where he uses death drain, but I got the 3 power-ups and nailed him, whammy, amp overload, and double notes.
