This is were my cat Mosskit grows and explores as she trys to find her way home back to Cloudclan. through the maze of a twolegged place A.K.A City.

Mosskit struggled in the owl's talons, "let go." she yowled, it was carrying her farther and farther away from Cloudclan. She feriously bit the owl on the leg. the owl lowered in height the pain must be lowering him. Mosskit nawed at the owl until blood trickled in her mouth. the Owl flung her to the ground nocking the wind out of her. she lay in the yard of a twoleg nest nocked out cold.

Mosskit woke up inside a nest of a twoleg. Small pelts of hard food sat next to her in a bowl and still tastless water too. Mosskit stood to her wobbily paws and looked around I survived! she thought and looked around. I had to get lost right before i was ready to be apprenticed too! i wonder who my mentor was going to be... she thought she raced into the living room and under the couch. Twoleggs were walking around. she hissed. a twolegg kit looked down under the couch and started to stick her paw out reaching for Mosskit. she hissed and slunk back. The larger two leg came and scooped her out from under the couch. Mosskit struggled in it's arms. A small dog came in and yipped at her. Mosskit hissed and tryed clawing herself out of the twolegg's arms. she jumped out and ran for the door of glass, it was solid and she couldnt get out. she pushed on the glass with her paw but it wouldnt move. "Dad!, Dad!" she meowed loudly.

Mosskit Gave up on the door. It was hopless, she spent her last few days trying to find a way out of the house. Each time she found an open window a twoleg would come to shut it. The twolegs never left the door open ether considering they had a dog. Mosskit was getting extremely sick of kitty-pet food and the yapping of their dog. She was becoming more experienced with the dog, each time it would want to play, it would stop if you gave it a good scratch to the nose. And if it yapped Mosskit would get fed up with it and scratch him in the rear. that shut him up. One day the twoleg was bring in Grocerys and probably more vile food. Mosskit slipped out quickly and ran to the edge of the yard. The twoleg kit ran after her but there was no chance she would stop, she wasnt getting locked up again! She hopped up onto the fence and let out a yowl of furstration. all she could see were thunderpaths, Twoleg nest, and rows and rows of yards.

Mosskit sighed," Great this is going to take for ever." she said to herself and jumped down from the fence. She padded left. "let's hope im right." she said. She padded onward and hopped up onto a different fence. "More nests!" she said frusterated. " This isnt going according to plan." she said. and jumped down into a yard. "Who goes there stranger." A new voice said. Mosskit turned and spoted a ginger colored cat siting. " Im mosskit." She said fluffying out her coat. "Cool it, kit." said the ginger cat. " What brings you hear?" The cat said. Mosskit didnt wanna admit it but she was lost. "Lost." she said simpaly her pelt laying flat. "The cat purred, Im Teady." The ginger cat said. " Your oviousely new. who are your house-folk." Teady said ," Im no Kitty pet!" she spat, " Im a clan Cat." " O, i have heard of your kind." Teady said walking over to her. " Want some Food, you look hafe starved." he purred. "No, I wont eat that food again." She spat, it's nasty. It looks like im going to have to teach myself to hunt until i get back to Cloudclan"

Mosskit jumped up onto the fence again. " Im going hunting, see you later, kittypet.'' she spat. " Wait," teddy said, " I wanna go too.'' he said wanting a chance to hunt. " No, you'll get in the way." she said. "please?" Teddy conplained. he was older then her but he acted like he was begging a warrior to be taken to a gathering. " Fine!, just stay out of my way." she jumpd down, from the fence and walked into the bushes. she spotted a mouse and jumped forward missing terriblely, it was oviouse she wasn't an apprentice, but she was of that age. " Mouse-dung." " Can i try next?" teddy asked. "Fine." she said and sighed. " teddy padded forward just as she had done and looked inthe undergrowth. he spotted a squirrel and crep forward. he pounced a killed it.. " how, on earth can you do that and i cant!." she yowled. " I dont no all i did was watch you." he pointed out.

"Show me." Mosskit said.

"k." Teddy shrugged, all he really did was watch Mosskit. he crept forward. looking for the russeling of prey. he spoted a vole and gentally crept forward. he stepped on a twig and the vole ran away in front of Mosskit

Mosskit jumped on it and killed it quickly. "Prey!" she yelped and dug in, her stomach empty. "have you ever tryed fresh-kill, it's great, go get that squirrel you killed, no prey should go to waste." she said demandingly.

"K" he said and padded away. he grabbed it and brought it back to her. "There."

"Well? what are you wanting for, dig in." she said," It's the best thing you'll ever taste." Mosskit said.

Teddy took a bite of it and looked at it amazed. " WoW! this is great, and you get to eat this every day?" he said sitting down and galping it down.

"Yeah, the warriors and apprentices go out every day to catch food, and there are other clans too, We have to fight and protect everyone together from preditors like badgers, and also other clans." she said her eyes shining.

" Tell me more." Teddy said.

Mosskit was suprised but Teddy would ask that but she was thrilled to talk about the clans again. "Well there are 4 clans, Cloudclan were im from, Swampclan, Rainclan, Gustclan, Cloudclan live in the forest and we love the undergrowth, exelent stalkers and all that stuff, Before i was taken by an owl, I was ready to be an apprentice. The the clans there is a leader who is granted 9 lives to serve the clan as long as possible. The deputy take the place of the leader once he or she dies, and the warriors hunt and fight for the clans, while the apprentices are training to become one, kits just run around camp mindlessly." she laughed. " and the elders are the warriors that servived and now live in the care of an apprentice. A kit's name ends in kit, me for example. Mosskit. An apprentice's name ends in paw. I was ready to be an apprentice, i was going to be Mosspaw. Then warriors have all sorts of names! but a leader has the name end in Star." she said. "Swampclan lives in the marsh, and they arn't exactly the nices clan ever, Rainclan love to swim and they are the most well feed clan, Gustclan is fast and small, but they are still powerful."

Teddy stood up when she had finished. He had learned sooo much about the clans now. "Wow!" he exclamed. he looked down deep in thought. " Teach me to fight." he said.

" What?!?!" Mosskit exclamed. " I kitty-pet can't fight." she hissed. " You would be a waste of my time. I need to find my way back to Cloudclan."
----
"But, if you teach me,.... I will help you go back." he said
----
" You can't, your house-folk will be looking for you."
----
Teddy looked deep in thought again. " I will become what you call a loner." he meowed.
----
" You just dont get it, do you?" Mosskit said. " You can't just become these things over night, you wouldnt last one day on your own without a nice warm nest to go back to."
----
"Come on!"
----
Mosskit glared at him, "Fine follow me." she padded some way away from teddy's house and found a good spot to start. " So your really serious about this?"

"Yes, im not going back to my house-folk."

Mosskit nodded. wow, he is serious about this... she padded on with Teddy at her side. "OK, i havent learned much, but I have picked up a few things from watching the apprentices." she said.

Teddy nodded. "were are we going."

"You tell me." she said calmly and continued. "Ok let's work on it right here." she said "Ok..." she said not nowing exactly what to do, she wasnt even an apprentice she wasnt ready to be a mentor! "Um, try to nock me off my paws." she meowed.

Teddy shot forward catching Mosskit by surprise.
----
Mosskit jumped and landed square on his back. The impact of her landing on him made him fall and he slumped down. Mosskit jumped off him.

"Ow." he said standing to his paws.
----
"Try not to give yourself away." she said. "I could tell you were aiming for my paws, because you had your eyes fixed on them, dont stare at the place your aiming for."

Teddy nodded, and shot forward again.

They practiced until sun-set. "Im tired, we need a place to stay over night."

"I bet I no a cat that wouldnt mind.'

"A kitty-pet! no way, im not staying in a two-leg's nest." Mosskit hissed. "Come on we will find a real shelter."

Teddy rolled his eyes.

Mosskit slid under a hedge. "this will have to do." she said sitting down. she curled up while Teddy did the same next to her, his pelt brushing her's.

Mosskit woke up to the sound of a Crow's call. he stood up stretched and jabed Teddy in the side. "Wake up you fuzz-ball. Let's go hunting." she said still learning with Teddy slowly. "Come on wake up." she poked him again, " Your not a sleepy kitty-pet anymore! you have to fight for servival now, and no snozing all day."

Teddy stood up and sighed. "Well arn't you the little bossy furr-ball this morning." he said amussment glimmering in his eyes.
----
"Are you hungrey or not. Because you can sleep if you want an empty belly." she hissed.
----
"Fine, fine." he said standing and shaking dew from his pelt. "Im ready."
----
"You better be. And remember keep light on your paws." he pushed out of the hedge and into the fresh air. "If only i was back in Cloudclan, I would be an apprentice by now and I would accually no how to hunt proberly." she hiss to herself. "Your first." she said, flicking her tail to a sparrow digging at the ground.
----
"you had to choose something hard to catch." he hiss under his breath but he didnt say much, creping forward he stepped on a dry leaf, it cracked under his paws. "Fox-dung." he spat leaping into the air trying to Hook the bird with a claw but failed.
----
"Well... their goes break-fast, but dont worry we are both still learning, now come on I think i sent mouse somewhere."

They later caught a mouse and a vole. "You pretty good for a kitty-pet." Mosskit said knawing at the vole.

Teddy purred, "thanks"

"do you hear something?" Mosskit asked

Teddy's fur stood on end. "Dog!" he yelped. "Come on!"

Mosskit's pelt stood on end. she shot after teddy, they ran swiftly along heading farther into unnown territory with rows and rows of two-legged nest surrounding them "Do y9ou know where your going?" Mosskit yelled at him from behind. "No!" he yelled back over his shoulder. He jumped up onto a fence that led into a two-legged garden, "I'm not going int there!" she hissed. 'Would you rather be that dog's fresh-kill?" Teddy hissed. Mosskit glared at him but jumped up anyway and slide down to the other side with teddy. "That was close." He sighed. "i felt so useless!" mosskit hissed, "If i were back in Cloudclan I would be an apprenitce and would know how to fight that stupid dog!" Teddy licked her shoulder in a conforting manner. "We could do some more battle training today." Mosskit glared at him but then her eyes sofened "Sounds fun, come on." she purred jumpedin back up onto the fence. The dog's seemed to have lost interest and had left. She jumped down ont hte other side, with teddy right behind here. She sniffed the air. "I - i think the forest is... that way?." she said flicking her tail. "Ok, lets go."

They trained until sun-set, Mosspaw was surprised by the strength that was beginning to build up under Teddy's pelt. they fell asleep from exsastion next to each other and the next day woke up, rain pounding their heads.
