i finally saw it today. it wasn't horrible but it wasn't great. it did have some good parts. i really liked the daemons. especially when pan easily morphed into other animals. i'm listening to the book right now, but i might actually read it over christmas. i must say though, i'm sick of all the religious controversy over it. i wish people weren't so ignorant and unwilling to open their minds to other ideas. i'm not saying they have to accept them. just realize that their beliefs aren't the only ones. sorry...a lot of things have been leading up to this little rant, not just the people who protest this movie.

I was gonna say something about the religious part, but then you said..
My parents won't let me watch it. Because of the religious stuff. I thought it sounded kinda stupid anyways. sweatdrop

really...i thought the movie was awesome! I was skeptical about it at first because i thought it might just be a little kind movie, but it was fairly adult.
i agree with you on the religious thing too, the book had nothing to do with religion or anything, it's just the way the government in the book was set up, and the titles and such. people are so silly...
