The winter winds were starting to pick up and Desire had to rush into tree hallow to avoid the blistering wings. Luckily, his was farmilar with this tree hallow and found his patch of dried grass he has stored here to rest on. He looked around his second home to see if he had also stored anything to eat, but to now avail. He'll have to remember to start stocking up on tree bark and leaves next time the weather mellowed out.
Del peeked from the tree hallow to watch the snow fly through the air. At least in the hallow, it was warm, cozy and out of the wind and snow. It would do perfectly for a winter retreat.

Flurian grumbled a bit and flapped his wings harder, trying to get a little higher up into the air. Some people said that heat rose, well right now he thought that those people were nuts and that he'd die soon of cold. The bigger Soquilis were able to hand it because of the fact that they were indeed bigger, but not him. Sighing softly, Flur caught sight of a tree up ahead. Oh boy.. maybe his luck had changed?
No branches on it.. but a hollowed out section just his size. The winds made it impossible to see the other inside so without any decorum the pink-orange stallion landed witha bit of a thunk. Flying was even harder with numbed wings...

Del Corazon suddenly felt as if a cannon hit him head on. A flash of orange and pink was all he saw before tumbling to the back of the hallow and right into his pile of dry grass. He landed on his back with his legs in the air and his wings wedged uncomfortably under him.
"Ow..." he whined as he tried to get his barings again. He shook his head and blinked a few times. He rolled over and straightened his white-yellow wings, as he looked at the other flutter that had come to seek sanctuary in the hallow.

Flurian couldn't really tell what he had taken a giant leap-smack into. The only thing the stallion knew is that he had been out in the cold and now he wasn't. Hopefully it wasn't some rabid forest creature... Those were so very rarely happy to see anybody and especially not him after gate crashing into a nest or something.
"Oh.. lord." The -ow- let him know it wasn't rabid something.. but then he had to worry about smashing someone else up. Stumbling a bit Flurian came to his feet and tried to uncurl what was left of his wings. The flowers had returned to total buds.. Hence the bad landing.. "I am Flurian.. you are.. well?"

Del Corazon was still slightly dazed, but he could tell that the new visitor was still dazed..
"I'm Del Corazon." he left his usual explanation of his family tree for fear that he would overstimulate the other flutter. It was a stallion, like himself. And had a lovely pair of flower wings. Del couldn't help but smile. The stranger seemed nice enough.
" You okay? You had quite a landing."

Flurian was getting his wits back in order and he no longer felt that need to crawl back out of the tree for being an idiot.
Picking himself up carefully, then shaking more violently than a shaggy wet dog would Flurian grinned at the other. "Th'name's Flurian! I suppose my landing wasn't quite as smooth as I'dve liked it to be." Okay, that was what most people call a stretch. As nobody in their right mind would take his landing as being acceptable.
"Oh yeah... what about you? You didn't get hurt I hope."
