Seira sat on the back porch swing, watching the snow fall lightly around the pound. On her lap was a mug of steaming hot cocoa enclosed by her paws, a simple blanket wrapped around her shoulders for some extra warmth. With a small sigh she took a sip of her cocoa that her nephew made for her, her mind on her family and how she should try to get at least some to stop and sit with eachother.

Vier prowled around the kitchen, anxiously swishing his tail to and fro. His thoughts were once again clouded with the constant feeling of neglect. Neglecting his family that is. He ever-so longed to spend time with them, but what to say? And will they forgive him after being such a jerk.
"Saki.." he whispered knowing what she probably thinks of him as of recently. Cautiously, he peered out the kitchen window, narrowing his eyes at the bright..white snow that covered the grounds. His ears lowered with the most doubt in his mind. Atleast he could talk to them...

"Dad, are you looking for something?" Saki asked as she walked into the kitchen to dispose of a dirty dish from her lunch, still cautious about her father. There was no doubt she loved him it was just the doubt that he loved her, after what he called her and his less then perfect appology. She was more then willing to patch things up and just get back to the normal father daughter relationship thing...kinda like the stuff one would see on TV, but she knew that was only scripted.
She remained sitting on the swing, sipping her cocoa and filling her head with thoughs of the family she always dreamed of...everyone happy and just not what it is now. So split up, everyone doing their own thing. Seira looked down and touched the necklace her dad had given her when he first met Vier, the thought made her smile. She knew he loved her, he stayed no matter how poorly her family treated him. That had to mean something, right? She loved him but he was really never around, yet when he was it seems that all her troubles dissapeared. "..I'll be anything for you."

Vier snapped from his thoughts, a sigh escaped from his lips. "Hello..Saki." he began, averting his gaze to the window again. "No..i'm not looking for anyone.." He lied.
"Trying to find myself.."
"Why do you ask?" he questioned, trying to make conversation with his daughter. He was eager to make amends.

"...Well because you're zoned out and aimlessly walking around the kitchen." She replyed as she shrugged her shoulders. "What's so facinating out the window," Saki asked once again as she stood next to him and noticed not just the snow but her mom on the empty swing. "Oh, you're staring at mom arn't cha?" She joked as she smiled at him, swishing her tail back and forth. Her gaze looking out at the window as she took a deep breath in and exhaled it just as fast. "...You know I missed you? Mom does to."

Vier blinked a couple times before noticing the figure his daughter was talking about. But there she was, swinging to and fro, his mate, the person who he guessed loved him the most. How could he be so cruel? His mind spinned around and around. Before he knew it, he winced, switching his ice blue gaze toward Saki. Silence overtook the girl's question.
"Oh, you're staring at mom arn't cha?"
No, he wasn't.
"How selfish of you.."
"I....Yes, yes i was Saki. Just admiring her beauty.." He lied..again.
He paused abit before looking what the window once again. Quite aware of Saki's words, he remained silent. He knew all too well that they missed him.

Saki arched an eyebrow at her fathers slight hessitation, knowing very well that he wasen't but decided to leave it as what he said. The silence after that one thing she said overtook her, making her question if he really missed them in return. Her mom? Her? Strike? Toxxy lived with him so he coulden't miss her sister, could he? She leaned her back against the sink and idly fliched her tail, trying to start a conversation that wouldent lead to him to eventually leaving and doing his own thing...like he normally does. "So..." Saki began trying to whip up something quick. "Christmas is comming up."

Vier eyed his daughter for a short second, taking in her motions and questioning himself further. After giving it some thought, he shrugged, repling;
"What did your mother want to do for christmas?"

"I have no idea, she never really said.." She replyed with a nod, trying to remember if her mom ever said about what she wanted for christmas but nothing came up. She shrugged her shoulder and looked at Vier, trying to read him. "What do you want for christmas? I have yet to get you a preasent because I just don't know.."

"Ah..i guess i'll have to guess on my own."
Vier then smiled at Saki's latter question, but secretly knew very well that he didn't even deserve a gift. He gently shook his head. "Don't worry about it Saki, it's not important."
Wisking his tail and glancing toward the window, he made up his mind. It was very clear.
"Saki, i'm going outside."

"...Okay." Saki looked at her father and nodded, the conversation could have gone better yet it could have gone worse then it did to. She softly sighed and thought for a minute, knowing very well what she was going to get or better yet do for his christmas preasent. She had to get him something...right? "Talk to you later?" She asked him as she walked out, flashing him a soft smile as she walked up the staires to get started.
Seira just sat there, rocking back and forth in a gental rythem as she staired off into space. She was working to hard, and it was beginning to slowly show. But she was trying to make some time for herself, even if it ment neglecting some chores she had to do around the house...but it was worth it. Now all she tried to do was get her son, her two daughers, and Vier together for christmas, to be a family. She would try her hardest and hope it would work. Pressing the mug to her lips she took a sip and breathed in, the cold air stinging her lungs but all she did was rock back and forth.

"See you.."
He made a brisk walk out the kitchen and into the hall. From there he headed to the door. Slowly, he turned the knob and pulled it to. Ice blue eyes gazed across the open field infront of him, intill his eyes adjusted to the outside light. He cautiously stepped forward and glanced to the right, eyes fixed on a familar porch swing.
"Seira?"

She turned her head to the sorce of the noice and softly smiled, her heart beating faster and slower at the same time. Her dark blue eyes lit up with happiness. Seira wanted to say so many things but deciding to keep it simple. "Hey, Vier.."

Vier slowly approached her with a faint smile but also eyeing the gently falling snow around the pound, for he liked the fluffy white stuff very much.
"How are you?"

"Alright, could be worse...you?" Seira softly asked as she moved over to give Vier room, in case he wanted to sit down. Her gaze moved to the backyard and the snow that was falling, she softly sighed as she closed her eyes. "Isn't it beautiful."
