I wrote this last night as a description to go with my Avatar in the arena. I'm considering writing it up a little more thoroughly as some sort of a short story.
I was hoping some of you would give your opinions. This guild is about the only place I can come to get an HONEST opinion! I would rant about how everyone I know seems to assume I just want a pat on the back and a 'good idea' and nothing more, but I'm sure you've all been there.
Champion of Winter
Every great leader needs a hero, and it’s no different for Mother Nature. Each of the four seasons represents a kingdom, and all pride themselves on their respective champion. The four warriors each have dominion over one season, and as the seasons pass, a brief but powerful battle takes place between the previous combatant and that of the next season.
As the contest moves once more into winter’s reign, Kestia takes the stand against her sister, Rietu. The Guardian of Autumn is weary after a long rule, and it is clear who will be victorious. Rietu bows out gracefully, and Kestia accepts the throne once more. Winter shall be long this year, for the exchange between seasons was fleeting. Kestia has no need to release her full power, however, and so the season will also be mild. She is fresh and ready to command until her inevitable skirmish with Ko’era, Monarch of Spring.
So the seasons change. Each champion rules in their own way, under the watchful eye of Mother Nature.
That's the basic idea in any case. I'm planning on fleshing it out quite a bit. I was also considering an introduction or history to each Champion. Thoughts and opinions would be gratefully received!
