YES! I have watched "The Western Air Temple", and it was definitely my favorite episode thus far... >.<
It's times like these I love being Canadian! Hee-hee! Apparently it's already aired over here in Canada!

WOW! JUST WOW! Zuko is so delightfully dorkish in this episode! I love Good Zuko so much! Rehearsing his introduction to a frog? Hilarious, and his introduction itself was adorably funny!
`I was kind of nervous when he finally met the Gaang, and I knew they wouldn't accept him right off, but they downright rejected the poor boy!
He even offered to be taken as a prisoner, but they still rejected him! Couldn't they just have asked Toph if he was being honest and sincere, and then accepted him?
Of course, Toph and Appa were the only ones who accepted him first.
Katara was MORE pissed than I'd have thought possible! She seemed the most opposed to having him join them throughout the entire episode! But of course, after another battle with "The Combustion Man", Zuko is allowed in the group, which Katara isn't happy about!
It was funny how Sokka was all awkward showing Zuko to his room, mrgreen
But the end was amazing.
Zuko has a flashback of Iroh talking about Zuko's destiny.... "You know Prince Zuko, Destiny is a funny thing... you never know how things are going to work out but if you keep and open mind, and an open HEART, I promise yuou will find your own destiny someday..."
And then the flashback ends and it shows Katara leaning in the doorway...
Foreshadowing anyone?
I mean, it can't be a coincidence that they showed that flashback JUST before Katara showed up...
Anyways, Katara is basically really scary and she threatens him... eek! Remind me not to get on her bad side!
ANYWAYS! I sincerely think that the last part with the destiny speech and then Katara was foreshadowing. Anybody agree?

I didn't catch the foreshadowing with the flashback... probably because right after the flashback was a commercial so it didn't cross my mind to connect the two.. Does that make me a bad Zutarian? sweatdrop
But now that you mention it!! Most definitely foreshadowing!!! whee Though I was just happy seeing the two of them in the same room even if Katara was being all mean to poor Zuzu.

I just know it was foreshadowing!
I definitely can't wait for episode thirteen now! We'll get to see how Katara reacts to Zuko being around, and maybe we'll get to see some more Zuko and Sokka interaction?
I always thought Zuko and Sokka would make have funny interactions! 4laugh

Oh, there is so much Zutara in this episode...Mainly that last scene, and mainly that last sad look that Zuko gives her as she walks away. It speaks so many volumes, and gives me all the information I need. You just have to read between the lines. 3nodding wink heart Guys, Zutara has begun. heart My rant on the subject, go read^^ -- My DeviantArt Journal entry --It starts about halfway through, I think.

My main point of happiness in this ep is how mad Katara was at Zuko. She was mad at him because she trusted him and then he betrayed her. Hes done nasty things to all the Gaang but Katara was the angriest she would not have been so angry if she hated him because you expect someone you hate to do s**t like that you get mad at a betrayal when you trust and care about someone.

I'll move it back to there.
Anyway, I was pretty happy with the events of this episode. I mean, or one thing, Zuko finally joined the gaang, and we got to see so many of our predictions come true (Appa licking him, Toph defending him). And, hey, even if they aren't on the friendliest terms right now, the Zutara interaction was awesome. Tense and somewhat frightening, but awesome.
I'm just look forward to seeing their development. 3nodding

I'm so far the only person who said no. Zuko was happy to see Katara, but she was pissed off because in the season 2 finale, she was like a Zutara fangirl. Now Zuko broke her heart, came back to the group, asked for forgiveness, and you all think that a girl will forgive a guy on the spot. He f**cking broke her heart people! He has to apologize to her about EVERYTHING HE'S DONE IN THE F**CKING PAST!
