The Land of Gold, named after the beautiful golden Mellyrn that grow here, and nowhere else outside of Valinor. This realm was founded long before the days of the First Age, when many Telerin Elves turned aside from the Great Voyage east of the Misty Mountains. Today, this Silvan people are ruled by their King Amdir and his son Amroth, and their houses below the golden trees are a majesty to behold, the greatest of all Silvan peoples.

Tari sat calmly on a grey bench, watching the other elves move about their buisness. her grey cloak was cast about her shoulders, and her blonde air almost fell into her eyes. A bow and quiver were by her side.
I wonder what is passing in the world? She thought. It has been many a day since I ast journeyed beyond this peaceful woods borders, but now i feel compelled to. Almost as if...something is calling me.
Rising, she slung her quiver onto her back, and walked of down a path.

Tari stood by her saddled horse, slipping her bow into its quiver.
But where shall I go?she wonderedI do not know where things are happening, and where I am needed, if at all. Ah well, i shall just wander, until I find some people. Perhaps they can tell me of the goings-on outside Lorien.

A few minutes later, a grey horse left, running hard with the wind on its heels.

Lessien walked down the path with every sense alert and her muscles tense. She had recently been attacked by a group of orcs while strolling around her country Lorien. Lessien fingered the end of her bow, prepared use it as a weapon, even if she did not have any arrows. It would not stand a chance against sword, but it may distract an enemy so she could render them unconciuos with a quick blow to the temple. Hopefully she would reach her destination before she was attacked by anymore orcs.
'I have to tell my fellow elves that orcs are so near! That the beloved Lothlorien could be in danger!'Lessien thought to herself.

When Lessien finally came to the heart of the city she was surrounded by a group of elves. They asked her questions like "Are you hurt?" "What happened to your arrows?" and "Why is there blood on your clothes?". All she could do was ask them to bring her to her family, who lived on the boders of this city, or the elven leader of Lorien. As soon as she explained to who she knew was an archer who kept look out for orcs and enemys what she had seen he quickly pulled her aside and told her that her message of the nearby orcs would be brought to the throne as soon as possible.

Lorien
Lessien sat in a long hall, waiting for permission to see and discuss the appearence of the orcs to King Amdir. She had changed into a white flowing dress with her usual jewelry. In the hall were three other elves, two male and one female. They were looking at each other and discussing something. After watching them for a while a blonde elf with large eyes came up to her. "It is time for you to see the king" He said.

Fea-Estel watched as Lessien walked out of the hall, she thought to herself why can she go out and hunt orcs and I must remain here serving no purpose what-so-ever. She felt useless and unwanted. Other she-elves were able to aid with the protection of the forest while she had to stay in the hall because she had two older brothers who could protect the wood.

Fea-Estel looked around the hall. As she stared dazed, an elf came into the hallway and told me that King Amdir requested my presance. She followed the elf carefully, as if they were on a secret mission. She entered into a marevellous room and sat down in a chair. The King spoke to her seriously. I have heard that you do not fight amongst the elves but remain in your home because you have two older brothers. I have also heard that you are capable, and an excellent warrior, at fighting. I shall offer you this proposition. We need help, our people can not continue to hold back a great deal of orcs, no matter how powerful. They grow tired and weary. I need you to go on a mission and seek help, preferably other elves. Will you be willing to do this for me? She stared in amazement, unable to answer, for she had never been out side of Lothlorien. She did not know where any other elves lived.

Siligon overheard Fea-Estel's conversation with the King and took a moment of thought. He had been a greatly feared enemy of the Orcs for hundreds of years and has had a certain liking to Fea-Estel. He could not let her venture alone in the dark woods without a companion. Siligon was invited by the King to attend his meeting concerning the troublesome Orcs that are disturbing the peace of Lorien. He walked in on the conversation and bowed before the King and Fea-Estel as he said "My King, my lady". He looked at the king and said "I ask for your approval to accompany the lady Fea-Estel on her adventure. I shall protect her at all costs and ensure the success of our mission. Do I have your pardon?" The King looked at him graciously and noded saying "Ofcourse Siligon. You were summoned here for that purpose. Your valour should prove effective in eliminating those treaturous Orcs. Farewell and Good luck." Siligon looked at Fea-Estel and awaited her approval.

Fea-Estel could not believe her own ears. After all of that, the King had been planning on sending a male with her. She felt betrayed. She had thought that someone finally understood her. She knew she could protect herself but decided to approve Siligon's request in order to prove him wrong. They clearly were not aware of her capabilities.

Acknowledging her approval, Siligon looked at her as he said "My lady, I feel a slight anger in your behaviour. Are you not glad that you have a companion on such a dangerous and lonely mission?" There was no response but a cold stare that she gave him. Siligon felt unwanted yet knew of the dangers and deeply wanted to protect her. He was well aware of how powerful and skilled she was yet he felt some weaknesses in her confidence. He perceived a long and complicated past that she lived and would not share with anyone. She was a lone spirit as he. She wanted no one to help her and hold her hand on the difficult and devastating road that she calls her life. He felt, however, a certain desire she had for compassion and love. He was willing to break through the wall of thorns that shields her mind and rescue her from her own self hate. "Thank you your highness," he said to the king as he walked out of the hall. "My lady, I will be waiting for you at the gate."

Fea-Estel quickly stood up, seeing as her time with the King was over. As she walked towards the door, grabbing, ever so slightly, the pane. As she stared over her shoulder, she moved her lips wanting to scream. She couldn't take it anymore, she felt as if she were reliving the past. Not one word would come out of her mouth and she turned and walked towards the gate to meet Siligon, who was awaiting her. She studied the walls and the trees outside, not wanting to miss a thing. It was as if she were planning on never returning.

The two set out one hour later and began their long and dangerous journey. Fea-Estel did not speak to Siligon. He felt as if she thought he was nothing but an extra pack of useless garments that she had to carry for miles. He wanted to show her how he felt about her but was afraid of rejection. One day, he thought, he would tell her how he felt and she would love him back. As they went deeper and deeper into the forest, the darkness crept up onto them and it seemed to get colder as the rays of the Sun dimmed and reflected off the leaves into the hollow sky. It seemed to get very quiet and unsettling as Siligon stopped and sniffed the air. He lifted his bow slowly and shot three arrows into the surrounding trees dropping three hidden Orc scouts silently. "My lady, we are getting closer. These Orcs would not stray too far fromt heir camp. We must go on but silently and then ambush those vilainous Orcs when they least expect it." They continued on and he was constantly aware of what was happening around him. Little did he know, an Orc archer had an arrow with his name written on it hiding in a nearby tree.

Fea-Estel smelt something odd in the air. As if a mass amount of Orcs were near. She saw that Siligon had just killed 3 Orcs, but yet, it still was unsafe. She saw a pair of eyes twinkling in the trees. She quickly pulled out her bow and arrow. With a "twang" the Orc fell face first behind Siligon. Try to be more careful, you were almost killed, she hissed. Fear began to errupt in her mind, but she created a box for it and hid it there. He would never know the truth. *What has past has past, there is no way to change it. It is best if it is forgotten,* she thought.

Siligon was startled to see Fea-Estle pull out an arrow and face him. He watched the Orc fall from the tree and realized that she had saved his life. He stared in amazement at her skill and recognized her warrior spirit. "Thank you. I do not wish to end my life so soon. Not just yet." He too now sensed the mass of Orc stench approaching. He looked at her as he said "I can sense the Orcs approaching. I can feel it in the trees and smell it in the air. We better not let down our guard. They're coming..." He watched as she hurried on forwards and followed after her being as aware as possible. "I hate Orcs..." he said.
