Wait, I have a theory. Sedit's mother told his teacher the name she had chosen, but why would the teacher be there? I'm guessing he's Sedit's father... also, here's a starwars spoof I made about this.

I'm just missing the Bespin Cloud City set and to chop off Sedit's hand and it will be complete! Damn those darkside cookies were just too much to resist.
Now that you raise the question... I does seem quite likely! The both have the horns, same hair color. I'm guessing they also have the same eye style and color too. All that's missing is matching skin tone but he could've gotten the light tone from his mother.

Actually darker skin doesn't necessarily mean that it's genetic, because he could have simply been in the sun quite a lot more then Sedit.
