Falco Eis
Falco was also suprised at the reaction given by Nyx and Myu. Was it something he said?
Date; that was the word wasn't it? Didn't it mean just hanging out with someone you like? If so, why did the two of them behave as they did. Falco could just as well have an outing with any other zahdl and call it a date right?

Unless...he misunderstood the definition of the word...

Glancing at the giggling Sarah, Falco coloured. It was apparent then that the word 'date' had other implications than what he was told. Feeling sheepish all of a sudden, Falco ruffled his wings uneasily. "I'm sorry Myu...," the winged zadhl muttered. "Let's forget I ever said that...,"

seeingwhenblind
It wasn't as if Myu was offended or anything other similar emotion. The particular feeling she was experiencing...well...Myu couldn't quite grasp it to be honest. She never really experienced anything like it before, and it made her uneasy. Myu wasn't one to feel or let herself get close to anyone, but she had more than ambivalence for Falco. She actually may like him as a friend.

Friend? Wow...This was kind of new...She just couldn't let herself be vulnerable. She had to get these weird emotions in check, so she wouldn't lose track on what was most important.

"It's..." the cat Zahdl monotonously began. "...not a problem, Falco. Whatever you were implying...Shall we..."

Ugh. What was she doing? Myu didn't know herself. Perhaps, Nyx had some sort of mind control over her...That was impossible. Nyx wasn't smart enough to accomplish something like that. Was this...her freewill?

Falco Eis
" You would....?" Falco asked raising his head to look at Myu. This akwardness was something new to the winged zahdl. Falco himself could not understand it. Didn't he often hang around with Myu in the past? Then why should this be any different?

" Well...ah, I know this place...," Falco began before stopping short and looking at Myu with what could have a mixture of horror and...hope?

seeingwhenblind
Cocking her head to the side, Myu returned Falco's expression with her usual blank one. Was he all right? He seemed to be experiencing odd emotions just like she was. How usual? Were they sick? Must be. If they were both feeling this way, something must be in the air making them sick or something. That certainly wasn't good...Myu didn't have time to be sick. Well...Myu never had time to be sick, but that was beside the point. This could be a serious matter...

"Are you all right?" She asked, one of the few times she actually looked the person she as talking too. "You look...pale." Head still cocked, Myu still wore the same blank face.

Falco Eis
Ah, it was not meant to be then. For the briefest of moment, Falco had actually thought that Myu might have said yes but now, looking into her face, Falco wasn't sure.

Ruffling his wings in agitation, Falco gave a start when Myu spoke. " Huh? Me? Oh yes, yes, I am fine Myu. The clouds are fine too... ah! What am I saying? Oh yes, the dandylions are dandy. Eh? I mean, I'm dandy and fine...," blurted the winged zadhl whose clawed feet had, by this time dug quite deeply into the ground.

seeingwhenblind
Falco certainly was acting a little different than usual. He usually came off really confident and very...happy. Now, he seemed to be fumbling with his words. That didn't seem right at all. If this was a sickness, Myu hoped these symptoms didn’t pass on to her. She wouldn’t be too happy with that. Not at all.

With a slight nod of her head, Myu accepted his answer. If he didn't want to accept that he was sick, then that was his problem.

"I see..." the teen mused to herself out loud. "Then...since you are up to it, where...is this place?"

Myu hasn't been out much lately, and Nyx was bound to nag her later on if she didn't go with Falco. Actually, Nyx was being fairly quiet this whole time...It made Myu slightly uneasy. What was she doing...Whatever it was, Myu wasn't sure she was going to like it.

When in actuality, Nyx was just being quiet to let the two have their moments. Then she could tease and advise Myu later. This was her first date and all. Watch and then tell her what she did wrong, so she can improve. Of course.

Falco Eis
"This place?" For a moment, a look of utter blankness passed over Falco's face. Suffice to say that, if Myu had learned an absolutely foreign language and decided that she would from then on converse in the said language to Falco, the look that the winged zahdl would give would not differ by much.

Taking a small step back, the winged zahdl blinked several times at Myu before coming to his senses. " Oh! That place! It's a lovely place to be," replied Falco somehow failing to answer Myu's question accurately.

"But err... I hope you don't mind flying? "

seeingwhenblind
Apparently this sickness caused memory loss as well? How unfortunate. Myu actually was looking for a intelligence competition when Falco grew to a teen. She was looking to see who was smarter, herself or Falco. Sure, Falco probably didn't know about it, but Myu did. She knew all about it, but it wouldn't make her happy if Falco got sick and lost some of his memory. It would be an unfair advantage...

Regardless, it was obvious to tell that Myu was definitely confused. It even mixed in with her blank expression, and once again her head cocked to side again until everything finally registered in Falco's mind.

Myu merely shook her head in response to Falco's question. "It is of no trouble at all."

She didn't mind flying. She wasn't sure what it would entail, but as long as she could feel the wind against her skin, she'd be happy.

Falco Eis

"That'd be great then! " exclaimed Falco who had, by the looks of it, recovered somewhat. Clapping his hands the winged zahdl hovered a few feet off the ground in his delight.

"Give me your hand Myu," Falco said as he extended his to Myu. " It might get a bit getting used to at first but the place we are going to is well worth it!"

seeingwhenblind
Hesitating slightly, Myu extend her our hand out only to lightly touch Falco's palm with her fingertips before she withdrew it slightly.

Once again, Myu was having this odd feeling in the pit of her stomach. What was this feeling, and why was she feeling like this? It was just...odd, and she didn't like it at all. Was she nervous? No...Not really. Myu couldn't explain it to be honest. Sure, Falco has always been really nice to her, but why was it affecting her in an odd way now?

Was he...breeching her wall?

Hesitating a bit more, Myu finally brought her hand back and cupped her hand into Falco's.

"I see…I look forward to it." She droned, situating herself next to Falco.

Falco Eis
Holding onto Myu's hand firmly, Falco began to beat his wings. " Can't say that I've tried this before...," the teenage zahdl said as he cautiously began to lift Myu up. " But I did mention that once my wings were strong enough...,"

Flying higher, the zahdl suddenly released his grip on Myu's hand only to swiftly catch her once more. Only this time, Falco was lifting Myu in his arms. "I hope... Myu doesn't mind this...," Falco said as he held the other zahdl securely. "Much more safer and easier to fly like this than grabbing onto your hand...,"

Now rising higher, the winged zahdl began to make a beeline towards the promised location. "It might be a while...," Falco said as they flew on. " But we shall reach it in due time, by nightfall preferably. So hang on Myu,"

Saying so, the teenage zahdl began to gradually increase his speed.

seeingwhenblind
So he hadn't done something like this before? That made Myu slightly warily, but she had to put the little faith she had for people in Falco. He wouldn't let something happen to her, right? Hopefully...They were both Zahdl as well as allies, or at least Myu considered him an ally.

She slowly became at ease until Falco suddenly let go of her hand. Her heart ramming itself against her rib cage, Myu let out an exasperated breath when Falco suddenly caught her. To her surprise, the beating of her heart did not seem to subside.

"Don't kill the poor girl," Nyx giggled unable to contain herelf, but Myu couldn't help but think the same thing.

What was he doing? Was he trying to kill her? She couldn't fly! Sure, she identified with the wind, but she wasn't fortunate enough to be able to fly! Or was he just trying to frighten her? It would take a lot more than dropping her from the sky to scare her.

Trying to contain her breath, "It's...fine..." Myu drone back rather breathlessly.

After responding though, Myu couldn't help but feel slightly awkward. No one ever carried her or held her like this before...

Falco Eis
If Myu felt awkward, Falco's feelings too were on the same wavelength but deciding that it would be rather hazardous to express it in any other form than a sheepish grin, Falco kept his pace and flew on.

"So uh... what has Myu been doing since the last time we met?" Falco asked for want of a conversation topic.

seeingwhenblind
It seemed like a long time had past since Myu and Falco last saw each other, but they were able to reconnect so easily. In a way, it sort of baffled Myu. Perhaps, she really wasn't that bad with people as she thought. Still, she was pretty bad but not horrible like she thought.

"It's been awhile..." Myu mused more to herself than Falco.

Time seemed like such a blur to Myu that she wasn't quite sure what she had been up too. It was almost like time was frozen, and she just continued on by herself. She had little to no connection with anyone, which she didn't mind. It was just her...and Nyx. This time was well spent reflecting, and Nyx babbling incessantly.

"I've been thinking a lot lately in various places throughout Avryn. Though, I'm drawn to the plains quite regularly..." Myu continued, replying to Falco's question. All the while, she was looking that the surroundings. She was never this high up before, and it was certainly a different perspective than the height she was used to.

Falco Eis
"The plains eh?" replied Falco in good humour. " I grew up in those plains. A very interesting place it is too though Sarah used to worry about me hitting a tree,"

"Which you often did when you were learning how to fly," Sarah quipped before lapsing once more into a state of quiet observance.

"Well..I needed to learn don't I?" Falco said laughing at the recollection. "But I have improved," Falco then added as an afterthought to Myu, in case she had doubts about his flying capabilities.

"Perhaps we can start visiting all these places that Myu thought of together next time?" Falco asked looking playfully at Myu. " I'm always game for an adventure,"

seeingwhenblind
Myu nodded quite simply in response to all of Falco's comments; her gaze still elsewhere. It was refreshing to feel the wind against her skin once more. She hadn't felt its touch in quite some time.

Despite this, Nyx couldn't help but find this whole thing somewhat humorous. They all knew that Myu wasn't the talkative type. She was very too the point, and if the situation didn't require talking, head movements were suffice, at least to Myu. Still, Falco was able to keep a conversation with this. It was actually very funny.

Not only that, but Nyx couldn't help but love Falco. Myu wasn't the nicest person to get along with, but he was always so nice to her when they were growing up. He is just a warm and welcoming person, and Nyx felt that his warmth would be able to thaw out Myu, which, to an extent, was actually occurring. Perhaps, Myu liked Falco just as much as Nyx but in a different way.

That...and Myu was less likely to admit it. That whole emotions and attachments equal weakness or whatever Myu thought it her head.

"Indeed..." Myu replied absently. It would be nice to visit the plains once again. She hadn't been there in quite some time, and it was her favorite place to be. In a way, she somewhat grew up there as well, seeing as she spent so much time there.

Though, she wasn't sure about the adventure part. Myu wasn't really the adventurous type. She was too rigid.

"I feel that I must visit the plains quite soon."

Falco Eis
"Soon Myu? Would you like to go there now then?" Falco asked as he slowed down to gaze into the eyes of the other zahdl. "We could always sidetrack a little you know; if you really want to...," Falco said nodding in earnest.

"Consider my wings yours Myu and use them ifyou ever have the need to,"

seeingwhenblind
What? He was so willing to give up what he wanted to do for something that Myu felt an obligation to? How odd...How...kind. It certainly was a nice quality to possess, but at the same time, some can take advantage of that. Myu may be cold, but she didn't take advantage of people. Actually, she generally didn't try to associate with others at all, but she always seemed to run into Falco.

Regardless, it was impolite to intrude on other people's wants. Even if she did end up going to the plains now, Myu didn't know when she actually would leave. Time ceased to exist when she visited the plains. She became lost in thought and totally unaware of others around her.

Glancing from the corners of her eyes, Myu focused slightly on Falco's face and slowly drifted to his wings.

His wings...were her wings...?

Closing her eyes briefly and focusing them elsewhere once again, "I see...I wouldn't want to intrude on what you want."

Falco Eis
Giving a soft chuckle at Myu's remark, Falco altered his direction and headed for the plains. The other place could wait. After all, there was always tomorrow or the day after that. Or... there was even the day after that day to explore. Falco did not mind. The days lately seem to pass without anything much going on anyway and it would be good to see the plains from Myu's point of view.
And besides, his wings (although Falco hated to admit it) were feeling the strain of carrying the weight of two. He'd have to work on strengthening them soon...

Adjusting his wings, Falco made for a landing in the plains.

"Anyway Myu, it isn't so much as what I want but rather just a suggestion for a way to pass the time," Falco then replied amiably as they landed. Although it was but for a split of a second after they have landed securely, Falco still held Myu in his arms before placing her gently onto the ground with a sort of silent reluctance in his countenance.

"So Myu, think you'll be soaring the skies again anytime soon?"

seeingwhenblind
Feeling the shift in direction, Myu's gaze darted about the sky. Where was he going now? Was he changing their course of direction? The plains...? Was he really going to the plains? He was...Falco was taking them to the plains. Falco gave up his wants for something that Myu desired.

How interesting...How...odd.

If Myu was put in the same situation, she didn't know how she would react. She generally was quite determined when it came to things she wanted to do. Most likely, if she were Falco, she probably would have kept on course. It just shows the differences of their personalities.

Landing in the plains, Myu simply nodded at Falco's comment. Pass the time, eh? So this was just a way to pass time? Frowning slightly, Myu didn't know if she wanted to be something that was just being used to "pass time". Her ideal way to "pass time" was thinking and going off into her own mind. So what did he mean by this?

In a way, Myu couldn't help but feel oddly offended, and she didn't understand why...

After being put down, Myu slowly turned her back to Falco as she gazed about the plains. It was just...so majestic. "Perhaps." The girl droned simply as her arms laced themselves across her chest. "To pass time."

Falco Eis
Falco nodded at Myu's reply but remained silent. He could see that the other zahdl had things on her mind. When a person has got to think, it was probably best not to interrupt their train of thoughts. Falco had found that out when Sarah had gone into one of her 'thoughtful' moods; as she had been doing ever since he and Myu took off.

To say that Falco felt uneasy at Sarah's silence was not far off the mark but Falco decided that he could ask his guardian about that later. Right now, looking over the plains with Myu felt too great a feeling to spoil. Flaring his wings, Falco flew to a nearby tree to allow the other zahdl a breathing space.

seeingwhenblind
Noticing Falco's silence and sudden absence, Myu briefly glanced in the direction that Falco headed off in. So he went to a tree? Myu wondered what caused that? Was it possibly something she said? She didn't say much...but maybe he could tell that she was upset about something, something she wasn't entirely sure why she was upset about.

It could have been the way Falco said his comment. A way to "pass time". Was Myu simply a way to pass time? Maybe she didn't want to be a way to "pass time"...Was this whole thing just a way to pass time? Falco truly didn't want her company, but she was here...So she could be used to "pass time."

That was Myu’s train of thought, while it was way off from the truth.

But why did she care? So what? He truly didn't want her presence...well...she didn't care either. Of course, she didn't. Myu liked being alone anyway. Who needs Falco...Who needs anyone. She can "pass time" elsewhere.

Holding her chin high, Myu sauntered off into the plains and went off to her tree, the tree where she spent all her time. Her thinking tree. Climbing to the sturdiest branch, Myu positioned herself on top of it, crossing her legs that dangled off.

Rapidashtrainer
Falco watched silently as Myu made her way towards a tree. Was that her favourite tree then? Falco thought as he watched the other zahdl go. But why was her movement...stiff? Was it because he had carried her too roughly? Worried, Falco made as if to enquire when Sarah's voice suddenly sounded in his head.

Well, I can see that you've enjoyed that

"Huh? What do...you mean Sarah?" Falco aske quizzically; confused at the tone of voice that Sarah had used. Was Sarah...angry with him? Besides, the last time she had spoken privately to him like this was a long time ago...

Oh, you know what I mean alright came Sarah's voice pettishly.

"Sarah...?" Falco ventured to say before he was cut off by his guardian.

Nevermind insubstancial me Falco, go and see to Myu. She seems put off by something was all the reply that Sarah offered to give.

Hesistating for only a second, Falco took off and went after Myu. Upon reaching the other zahdl, Falco landed and enquired if everything was alright.

seeingwhenblind
This was totally a step in the wrong direction, or at least Nyx thought so. She was so excited that Falco and Myu were on a date, if you could call it a date. It was still a date nonetheless, and a step in the right direction. Myu was willingly being social with another person. Another person! A male nonetheless~! But then Myu got all huffy for some reason, and they both went to separate trees?

What the hell happened!?

Sure, Myu seemed slightly upset, but Nyx highly doubted she would tell her or anyone for that matter what was upsetting her. She was a private person, but she also didn't want to admit her weaknesses.

Myu was such an odd girl...

"What are you doing, Myu?" Nyx asked with a slight annoyance laced on her tone. "Go hangout out with Falco."

"I think we would both prefer to pass time..."

What? What was going through this girl's head, but before she could, at least attempt to get it out of her, Falco appeared underneath their tree. Yay. Maybe he could help?

"Everything is fine..." Myu droned absently in response to Falco, her gaze in the opposite direction.

Rapidashtrainer
To say that Myu's response was unexpected would be lie but it came as a shock to Falco nevertheless. Was Myu (if possible) being more cold and stoic than usual?

And Sarah's current attitude was not helping either. Frowning slightly Falco eyed Myu as the other looked in the opposite direction. " Did I do something to displease you Myu?"

A question that was, to anyone who is a veteran in this confusing emotion would recognize immediately as fatal and quite, quite, redundant.

seeingwhenblind
Glancing over to Falco slightly, Myu reverted her gaze back to whatever she was focusing on before. Maybe that blade of grass. Yea...She'd focus on that as it swayed with the wind. So free. So lucky.

Continuing to gaze at the blade of grass, "You have done nothing wrong." She replied simply as the wind rushed past her. She adjusted herself accordingly by pushing her long locks aside. It was quite bothersome at times. Though, Nyx seemed to like it, but who cares what Nyx thought...She didn't have to deal with it.

Regardless, why should Falco care about what was bothering her? He wouldn’t understand anyway since she didn’t understand herself. She was alone in some many ways, but most were the cause of her distancing herself. So why did he seem to care..and why did she even slightly care?

This whole thing...was just a bad idea.

Rapidashtrainer
Giving a small but exasperated sigh at answer, Falco lowered himself against the tree's trunk and sat beside the other with his knees brought close to his chest. Running his finger through the dirt, Falco stole a sideway glance at Myu.

"You do know that you are a very close friend to me don't you Myu?" Falco quietly enquired.

seeingwhenblind
Peering slightly from the blade of grass to Falco far below, Myu tried to understand Falco’s behavior. Was he sick again? What was wrong with him...? She didn’t quite understand what was going on or anything currently for that matter. She didn’t understand herself. She didn’t understand why she was here. She just didn’t understand. To say the least, Myu was entirely confused, and it made her feel weird. Feeling anything was just weird to be begin with, but this was just...odd.

Ugh. What was going on with her.

Positioning herself to face away from Falco, she gave a simple reply. “I see...I consider you an ally myself.”

If Nyx had a body, she would have smack Myu in the back of the head for that. Here, Falco was trying to express his feelings, but Myu just seems to ruin the mood with formalities. Ally. Pfft. Myu was just odd, but in an odd way, that was a compliment. If Myu considered him an ally, at least she valued him...

Rapidashtrainer
" An ally huh?" Falco replied lifting his head to face Myu. " But aren't all zahdls our ally Myu?"

That being said, the winged zahdl leaned himself against the tree's bark and to all purpose and intent looked as if he was about speak once again to Myu but no words were uttered. There wasn't any to say was there?

Flicking his tail ever so slightly, Falco then directed his attention towards a small ant scurrying about the grass. This was indeed awkward. Whatever had happened to those days where they could converse (at least at Falco prompting ) easily?

seeingwhenblind
That was true. All the Zahdl were her allies, but it didn't mean she found them competent enough. Falco and possibly Snow were the only few that she gladly called an ally. Sure, the others were nice enough, but she wasn't really impressed with their skills. In Myu's odd way, she was quite fond of both Falco and Snow in different ways. She just didn't know how to convey that...

Or anything really to that matter...

Letting out a sigh, Myu felt as if her body was moving on its own because before she knew it, her body was propelled forward, and she lithely landed on her feet. It could be because she had some cat in her. Either way, she plopped herself down next to Falco and hugged her knees. She refused to look at him since she felt that she was the one making him sick. Whenever she spoke to him, he just got even sicker.

She wouldn't want him to be sick...
PostPosted: Mon Dec 17, 2007 5:03 pm

Falco was suprised when Myu positioned herself next to him. If left to his feelings alone, the winged zahdl would have been compelled to give Myu a hug; to comfort her if it's comfort that she wanted. But, knowing Myu for as long as he did, Falco merely smiled.

"So, have you heard anything of Snow lately?" Falco then asked for wwant of something to say. And a change of atmoshpere. Perhaps if the discussion was led away from this awkward moment, the tension would cease.

Her tail flicking all the while, Myu merely shook her head. She hadn't seen or heard from the eldest Zahdl in quite some time. She couldn't even really recall when their last meeting actually was. It was that long ago. Perhaps something had become of Snow, but what? What happened to him? Myu hoped that he was fine. The other Zahdl would definitely need his guidance. He was the oldest and perhaps wisest of them all. They needed him.

Propping her chin on her knees, Myu's gaze went directly ahead of her. It was start. At least, she wasn't looking completely away.

"I don't recall the last time I heard from Snow," the teen started, watching a bird swoop down to the earth. "It must have been a long time ago...Have you...heard from him, that is."

In Myu's own way, she was slightly worried about the eldest Zahdl. He always did seem to get himself into trouble in one way or another. Hopefully trouble didn't find once again...
PostPosted: Mon Dec 17, 2007 5:45 pm

Falco shook his head at Myu's question. He had not seen Snow and the times when they had actually met, only a brief greeting and light conversation was held. Myu however seemed to be concerned with Snow's safety. A slight pang of jealously surfaced within Falco's chest. Choosing to supress it however, Falco too directed his gaze towards the swooping bird.

"Do you think...that he is in trouble?" Falco then ventured to ask.

Frowning slightly, Myu didn't want to think of the possibility because what if it was true? What if Snow really was hurt in some way? Just...what if? It honestly shows you have destructible people truly are, which means that Myu, herself, was far from being invincible. She honestly didn't like the thought since she liked to believe she was stronger than that, but reality always sets in.

Things could happen to them...

Why shouldn't it though? They were meant to protect this world. From what? If they are protecting something, there are people and things bound to be after them, right? It was scary but true thought, and Myu had to accept it.

This was her destiny. To fight...

"I would like to believe that Snow is strong enough to protect himself..." Myu droned absently, still lost in her thoughts. "...but trouble is bound to find us all. We can only hope that he is safe...for now."

Which was true. Hope and believing was all they had. Snow could take care of himself. Right?
PostPosted: Mon Dec 17, 2007 6:28 pm

" You sound kinda pessimistic Myu," Falco said letting about a small chuckle at his friend's attitude. This was indeed much better. Now that Myu's attention had be diverted alsewhere, the tension between the two zahdls had also seem to lessen somewhat.

" Why should trouble want to find us? We aren't doing anything wrong to attract them are we?"

"But do I agree with you about Snow though Myu. I'm sure the big guy can take care of himself," said Falco in earnest.

Pessimistic, eh? It wasn't pessimism if it was reality, or at least Myu's reality. There was always a fight against good and evil, and those two forces always collide. The forces of evil would no don't strike at them seeing as we here to fight it, but if Falco refused to believe the truth, Myu wouldn't fight him on it. Everyone is entitled to their own opinions, but with Myu's, she'd be ready if they ever come at her.

The evil, whatever it may be...

"We are the Zahdl..." she replied silently. "We are warriors...We fight evil. We are going to be faced with conflict."

She paused for a moment, her tail flicking ever so slightly. She continued to watch that diving bird as it flew back up into the air.

Carefree.

"Trouble will find us..."
PostPosted: Mon Dec 17, 2007 7:00 pm

"Then let them come," replied Falco rather defiantly. "It'll be a change to this uneventful days at least and... I do not believe that by just being zahdls we are...destined to fight...," said Falco quietly; stating the last stament more to himself than to anyone about.

"I refuse to believe that we do not at least have a say in our own future...our own life,"

Slightly aghast, Myu turned to face Falco and stared wide eyed at him. Not destined to fight? Then what? What were they destined to do? Isn't that her purpose? Of course...Her purpose was to fight. She promised herself that. She promised herself to her purpose and that purpose was to fight, but what if it truly wasn't her destiny? Was this all in vain?

But if wasn't her destiny...what was?

She could...have a say? But what would she want? Myu...wasn't sure. She had always been so driven towards her purpose that she never gave it a second thought.

No. It was her purpose, but it wasn't Falco's?

Her face turning to stone again, Myu cocked her head slightly, curiosity swimming in her blank eyes. "...What do you feel is your destiny...? ...What's...your purpose...?"
PostPosted: Mon Dec 17, 2007 8:48 pm

" I don't know...," Falco replied slowly in a cautious manner; a feature that was not commonly seen on this winged zahdl. " I want to...grow up, have fun. Live. I don't...want to fight for something as vague as good or evil. I want to...fight; no, protect people and places I care about from harm. Be it from good or evil. What my destiny...or my purpose is , is of no relevence to me. I refuse to be a puppet. Destiny or fate or whatever may throw a situation at me but I would want it to be me who decides on how to act on it,"

"Say Myu," said Falco suddenly as he turned to face the other zahdl. "What do you believe in?"

A puppet? Was she a puppet? Was fate her puppeteer that pulled her strings? Did she have no control of her actions?

No. She had control. The only thing that honestly matter to her was her purpose and her determination. She was determined to protect people and this world, but why? Why did she want to protect them? Falco had reason...What was hers?

None. She didn't have any reason to. She believed it was her destiny. Was she wrong?

No...She promised herself.

At the question Falco threw at her, Myu tensed up slightly and reverted her gaze elsewhere. "I believe in destiny...I am merely following the path set out before me."

No matter how lonely she made it be.
PostPosted: Tue Dec 18, 2007 4:27 pm

" So you'd be like an utensil? " Falco asked after a stunned silence.
"Well...to everyone their own I guess...,"

In truth, Falco was shocked and not a little angry at Myu. He had thought that she was strong; but to give in so easily to destiny...

Falco did not like it.
Perhaps she was brainwashed into submitting to something as abstract as fate...

Yes. That had to be it.

And thus coming to that conclusion, Falco gave Myu a pitying look. But to the untrained eye in emotions, the winged zahdl might have looked as if he had a rather distressing stomachache....

What was with that face? Why did Falco give her this...look? What did it mean...or...what did he mean? A utensil? How despicable. How...insulting. Myu had never been so insulted in her whole life. Sure, she occasionally felt anger, which was one of the few feelings she actually did experience, but she never felt this angry.

"I am not a utensil," Myu practically hissed as she turned to face Falco head on. "I do as I please."

Her tail at this point was flicking itself back and forth, and every hair on her body stood on end. She was most likely this angry because Falco was voicing what she felt might have been true. Hearing it from another possibly made it reality, and Myu refused to let it be true.

She was strong. She did do as she pleased. She just followed a path. That was all, but to be insulted because of it?

Ugh. Why did she even come here?

Falco noticed the agitation in Myu and ruffled his wings uneasily. Perhaps he had been too rash in his words. But those words were his true feeling on the subject.

Was Myu angered by it because it had touched a raw spot in her?

Shifting his position slightly Falco worriedly eyed the other as her facial expression changed from one of apathy to one of bottled rage.

Right then, Falco felt that it would even have been better if Myu had lashed out and slap him across the face...or something...

Anything would have been better that watching the intense anger that was boiling inside...

Continuing to fume, Myu couldn't understand why Falco remained so quiet now. What? He had nothing else to say now? He insulted her beliefs and now he had nothing left to say. Nothing at all? He just continued to stare. Why? And with that same face...What did it mean?

Why did she care what he thought anyway?

Abruptly turning both her face and body away, Myu pushed herself up into standing position with her back to Falco. She had to find her way to the barracks, so she could get out of her. Out of these confusing thought...Out of these weird feelings and emotions.

"Hey. Hey. Hey." Nyx broke in as if trying to intervene. "I'm sure Falco didn't mean anything wrong, Myu..." It was better to play mediator than let Myu get all pissy. Nyx would have to deal with it later. Plus, Falco and Myu were finally making some progress. It would really suck for it to start from step one again.
