Walking through the forest, Everhart managed to slip away from his parents once again. This didn't really reflect on his parent's parenting but just his ability to slip away unnoticed. He wondered what his siblings were doing right now... probably socializing and getting to know others... He seemed to be the black sheep in his entire family. ... So sticking around his family really didn't boost his self-esteem. Perhaps he would learn how to get along with others if he met more soquili.
He approached a small stream that wasn't frozen over. Everhart gazed into his reflection and stared at it thoughtfully.

Drae had managed to get loose himself too. He was a yearling now though, and small for age but much stronger. Only on rare occasions did he have coughing fits like he used to. A soft shake of his head before moving towards a brisk stream for a drink. Amazing how all the rest of the land would freeze over, but a little babbling stream could do what a whole pond couldn’t… Stay unfrozen. A blue unicorn colt up ahead jolted him just a bit and Drae side-stepped over…
In theory he was bigger so he’d be safe, but one never knew with the creatures in the Soquili lands… “Hullo…”
