Sitting alone in a small room adjoining the kitchen, Deidrick was... Well, quite bored. He thrived on the attention of others, especially female others, and without it, nothing could quite keep his attention. He idly tapped one foot against the ceramic tiles of the floor, pondering his next move. His wings twitched in an agitated manner. Shame I can't fly, he thought to himself. That would make for some interesting excursions. Imagine the females he'd meet in the sky! He had to restrain a chuckle at that last bit. Flying females... What would he think of next?

Vella was suddenly pushed into an unknown area, like always. She swayed a little a felt dizzy. Once everything stopped spinning she was able to concentrate on her surroundings. She brushed off her dress and looked around. She notice another being in the room. Her curiosity flared and she walked over to..him. She waved and smiled. "Hi" She said in a bright voice.

Whilst in the middle of a very engaging daydream involving winged ferrets, Deidrick suddenly found his mental imagery interrupted by the presence of another. Blinking and glancing up, his gaze met that of a dog who he had encountered earlier that day. Returning her smile, he rose to his feet and gave a slight bow of greeting. "Hello again," he replied, rising back to his full height with a small flourish. "How fortunate we are to have met again."

She looked up and blinked. She thought for a moment and then a name matched with a face in her mind. "Deidrick..right?" Vella asked thoughtfully. "Wow I never realized how tall you were..till now.." She blinked again as she replayed the memory quickly in her head. "Anyways.." she nodded her head." it is good to see you again."

At her recognition, he grinned widely and nodded, his bright purple hair bouncing around his shoulders in its usual unruly fashion. "Yes, that's me." Blinking, he glanced down at himself, then twisted his neck around to look at his backside. "I guess I am rather tall... I hadn't really thought about it, to tell you the truth," he pondered with a chuckle. "I suppose it has its advantages." Shooting her a wink, he reached to the top of a nearby cupboard and pulled out a cookie jar. "Chocolate chip! Would you like one?"

Vella laughed and clapped her hand together like a child would. He tail wagged slightly and nodded. "Oh yeas I would!" She then reached out and open the jar. She pulled out two cookies and placed on in her mouth. She then offered him the second one.
(( He does seem fun XDD..Vella is fun..It like she got a hyper shot there XDD;; ))

Deidrick couldn't help smiling at the girl's enthusiasm. Though, he had to admit to himself, a cookie was indeed something to be excited about! He carefully took the proffered cookie and took a bite, slowly chewing it and savoring the chocolatey goodness. "Mm!" He proclaimed. "These are certainly excellent cookies, don't you think? I wonder who left them up there, so high..."

She bent her writst and broke off a 3rd of her cookie. She then chewed and her expression lit up. She swallowed so she could speak. "They are good. But not good to have more then one." She then and took another bite slowly chewing it this time. Her tail was still wagging and she calmed it so it only swayed a little. Swallowing again she gave him a sheepish smile. "Sorry I got a little excited there..."

"Ah, no problem at all, my dear," he assured her, before finishing off the rest of his own cookie. "Cookies are an understandable thing to be excited about." He nodded in a wise manner, then reached up to replace the cookie jar in case the owner came looking for them. He was sure they wouldn't notice two missing cookies... Hopefully. "So!" He said brightly, sitting down in a nearby wooden chair and crossing his legs. "Do you come here often?"

Vella answered by opening her mouth and then made an 'O' shape with her mouth with her brow furrowing. "..Nooo..." She said thinking. Shaking her head she removed the strange expression from her face. "Do you come here often?" She asked him walking over by him. She then nibbled on her cookie as she waited for an answer.

Tactfully suppressing a small chuckle at her apparent need to think quite hard about her answer, he nodded. "No, this is my first time here, actually. To be quite honest, I'm not entirely sure where I am..." He laughed sheepishly. "I was looking for the laundry room, but as you can probably tell, I've lost my way somewhat... I thought perhaps if this was a place you visited often, you might be able to tell me exactly where it is. This place is rather large..."

Vella thought for a moment and looked around. " Why were you looking for the Laundry room?" She asked as she eyed his clothing or lack there of. She finished off her cookie quickly after speaking. She rubbed her hands together to rid of the crumbs and she swallowed.

Deidrick blinked several times at that, then scratched the back of his head with one spotted paw, looking uncomfortable for the first time. "Oh, er... Well... You see... It was just that..." Coughing a little in an attempt to hide his embarrassment, he directed his gaze at a nearby painting of the wall, which featured a mermaid sitting on the roof of a skyscraper. For a moment, he was enthralled by this painting and its utter lack of sense. Blinking again, he came back to reality when he realized his silence had been a rather long one indeed. "I heard lots of girls do laundry," he muttered finally.

Vella blinked an titled her head to the side. Her eyes quickly glanced at the painting he had been looking at before he had answered. His answer confused her a little. She placed her hand to her cheek looking thoughtful. "Soo you were..." She raised her hand and made air quotes " 'Picking up girl'" She said and her dog ears gave a twitch. She felt a little embarrassed for saying the phrase and let her arms drop to her sides.

As she bluntly stated his purpose, he became even more sheepish and embarrassed, his cheeks turning bright pink. "Ahhh, well... I didn't actually arrive there... So... There was no actual," he imitated her air quotes, "picking up girls." He grinned in what he hoped was a winning manner, as he didn't want the dog to be mad at him. "Besides, I just wanted company... I don't know very many people here, you know. I'm quite new."
