Bounding along the snow Del laughed and giggled. The snow was all sparky and shiny and she loved it. Her laughter sounded like sweet silver bells as if she had her mother's bells on her. She did wish there was some butterflies to chase after but she hadn't been able to find any since the snow had fallen. Perhaps as she thought about it that she should go take a trip to go see her mother and father. Someday. But for now she shook the idea out of her mind and continued to bounce in the snow, kicking it up in the air, and letting it fall back to the ground. Winter was awesome!

Cold, snow and wind, it seemed everywhere she turned. Her long white mane and tail whipped behind her when a wind blew, other then that they remained limp against her body. Her browinsh, multi colored wings folded at her sides to try and keep herself as warm as possible. She didn't much like this time of year she was born into, but the glittering snow made her golden eyes light up a bit.
Lost within her own thoughts, the young mare wandered closer to where her grandparents were said to live, though quite a ways off from her own home. Only when a face full of snow stopped her and she blinked a couple times before shaking it away. Blinking again she looked at another mare, a wind like herself, but darker. She kinda looked like her grandpa. Tilting her head to one side a bit she watched this mare, wondering who she was... Not knowing that he was her father's very own sister, Del'Nal...

Del finally looked up from the snow and noticed another winged mare. "Why hi there! You're really pretty. How are you? Have I mentioned that you look pretty." She rambled trying to figure out how this mare looked vaguely familiar as if she had somewhere met this mare but couldn't figure out where. After a few moments her brain finally registered how it seemed that she knew this mare. "You look almost like my brother kind of." A smile was on her face as she looked at the mare. "But you look much prettier then my brother."

Wica raised her head up a little as this stranger started talking, her dark colored ears twitching to pick up the quick words. It almost made her head spin, she had to wonder if this was what it felt like when she spoke as such. Shaking her head a little, she caught words about a brother and how she looked like him. Piecing it together she figured that the mare was speaking her her father.
"Er, hi." She smiled trying to be enthusiastic. "And you mentioned that, twice now." She giggled before looking this mare over. "Your brother? Oh, you mean daddy, I hear that a lot. Some even say I look like Mommy as well." she nodded.
It hadn't quite clicked on who she was talking to and that the mare might not have known who her father was... Surely they must have spoken before now, her father and his sister... But she put the thought a side for the moment as she looked around, shivering a little, making her wings fluff out a bit.

"Your daddy?" Del's voice sounding confused as the other mare said daddy. She thought she had said she looked like her brother...either way she was confused now. "Though perhaps my brother and your daddy look alot alike." She suggested as she tried to get the confusing thoughts out of her head. "I'm sure you're prettier then both of them though." Del really liked calling things pretty. Stretching her wings out slightly as she thought over confusing things but then quickly pushed them out of her mind as she pulled her wings back in.

Now she was confused, wasn't this mares brother her own father? Her thoughts spun like small tops upon one larger top. Shaking her head, Wica stared at this darker mare for a moment, trying ti piece the puzzle together in her mind. though all this thinking made her sit back upon the icy ground.
"I think they two are the same stallion." Wica said finally. "Daddy always spoke of a sister who like chasing butterflies." She nodded trying to think of other things.
This was a little too much for her, that her brain felt burnt out. Hoping that all this wouldn't make her head hurt any worse, but she had a feeling it would. She had never confronted some of her family from her father's side, the ones she got her wings from where her brother remained like their mother, wingless.

"My brother is your father?" Del asked sounding super confused now. Why couldn't things just ever make sense for her like they did for everyone else? She stared at the other mare that had claimed that the two were the same and just shook her head. How? Did that make them related? How was one related? Where was her brother? Why hadn't he told her anything? What did this make her? Why did everyone leave her out of the loop? So many questions flew through her head that in a few moments time she out of nowhere started jumping up and down. Perhaps it would help get rid of the questions she thought.

Wica watched this mare in bewilderment. Father hadn't spoken with anyone about her or her brother? That seemed a bit... Absentminded indeed. Tilting her head to one side, Wica turned her gaze toward the skies, letting the cold wash over her body. Her wings fluffing out again in reflex.
"I was sure you were Father's sister..." She paused, "Father's nickname is Andy or so what mother calls him..."
Boy this was puzzling and it was starting to make her head hurt. As if someone was trying to break inside by using just an acorn or something like that. Shaking her head she stepped out of her own frozen tracks and to another spot, though this one was no better, but it was a tad closer to the one she would come to know as her 'Aunt'.

Del stopped her jumping at the mention of the name Andy. Andy...Andre..they could be the same she thought. Looking at the mare she shook her head. "Would you happen to know if his actual name is Andre?" she asked also thinking that if it was Andre she was going to have to hunt him down for not telling her about anything. "If it is Andre then I would be his sister...I think. I haven't seen him since either of us have grown up."
