Mohan muttered under his breath a few incoherent words as snowflakes fell around him. He had spent all day trying to perfect this trick and had so far not had much luck. Why couldn't he do it? It was too obvious that it was a fake. He couldn't seem to get the ball to be where it needed to. Even though he had three of them and it ought to be one of the easiest he had done. Perhaps it was the cold? Maybe he needed to try a different one for now and continue on later where it was warming. Even his cloak couldn't seem to keep him warm enough.

Candycane stood a little farther away from his master. Mohan seemed to be frustrated and it would be bad to interupt him now. Occasionly he would wander over and pick up some of the loose balls that seemed to slip away and bring them back but other than that it was best to keep some distance.

Not too far away, an Ichsa mare was cropping at the grass underhoof. It was quite a pretty day, she supposed, but rather too cold and a little dull. Even as these thoughts ran through her pretty little head however, she heard a soft voice on the breeze and ceased in her feeding to discern the source of the sounds. Pale blue eyes alighted on the tall bulky shape of an Aeri, and the mare frowned. What was that on his back?... Was he... Was he wearing something? Looked a bit like some of the things two-legs had to cover their hairless bodies.

Intrigued, the pale-maned female set off towards the stranger at a high-kneed trot.

As the ghost ischa walked he cared not that the grass below his hooves didn't move as he stepped on it. If he were alive the grass would have been crushed beneath his hooves but he was a ghost. Most days he remained invisible unseen to the world not allowing anyone a glimpse of him. This day was different though. He had allowed himself to be visible as he walked but only just a transparent visible to confuse others as he walked by making them think twice about if they really saw someone else there. Hearing muttering and walking nearby the ghost paused in his walk and debated about whether to go investigate or to just keep moving and ignore what was going on. Perhaps it would be fun to see what was going on so he headed over but made sure to keep his distance and unseen for now.

CandyCorn was the first to sense someone else int he area. Looking up he noticed an Ichsa mare trotting towards them. "Mohan..." The Zrun said it in something of a whisper, he didn't want to offend his master but he also wished to let him know that they were possibly being spied upon.

Mohan was snapped out of his concentration by this rude interuption. Glaring down at the Zrun he held a questioning look on his face. "This better be important what is it?" He snapped. Mohan did not like having his concentration broken for just anything. It had better be something worth while or perhaps he might have to get rid of the Zrun. It would definately free him up some.

The candy colored Zrun shrank a little at the impending stare of his master. He did not like being yelled at and was much too timid. However, he knew that Mohan would never hurt him and there was really nothing to fear. He was just a bit emotional and Mohan was a bit too harsh. "It.. it's an int..t..truder sir." He stuttered out.

Mohan looked up to see a liver chestnut Ichsa trotting toward them. Oh now what? What on earth could she want? First he can't seem to get his tricks right, second it was rather cold, and now there was someone prying into his business. What else could posibly happen today?

Some little way away from the green Aeri, the flaxen mare came to a halt. Humm. Yes, yes he was wearing something; a cloak or a cape she thought it was called. It certainly made him look unnatural, but then the silver jewelry she herself wore wasn’t exactly normal. Perhaps the look of the black cloth would grow on her, perhaps not. She couldn’t imagine how frustrating it would be to have it forever falling off to one side or something... The Zurn at his side looked frightened of him, too now she looked at it. Perhaps he was crazy, that would explain a few things. Still, he wasn’t being threatening right now so perhaps he was a safe kind of crazy.

“Hello there,” the silver-adorned mare said with a smile and a bob of her head. “Pretty day today, isn’t it? I hope I’m not intruding...”

Watching the others from where he stood the ghost tried to make out what was happening. It seemed to him that the one was trying to make things move without touching them and the other he couldn't tell. Perhaps she was just wandering by. Either way he thought that maybe he could have a little fun with these two. He made himself invisible and walked ever closer to the one with the black thing upon his back. Perhaps he could help this one with his so called 'magic'.

Mohan quickly tried to hide the extra balls that he used to perform his 'magic'. Really it wasn't any sort of magic at all. It was just a bunch ok cheap tricks that had people thinking it was real. Here was one ball that they could see show up somewhere else, where in reality it was three different balls that he used. It was rather amazing how easily some could be fooled, in either case though he was not about to let this mare see how much of a fake he was. He quickly tucked the balls out of site, a small lump beneath the cold, white, snow.

"Can I help you?" He asked her. His voice was rather grough(sp?) and probably came out a little harsher than he had meant it too. It took him a few minutes to realize that she had spoken first however, "Yes, it is indead somewhat 'pretty' but it is rather cold." Mohan was not a fan of the cold. Granted his odd cloak did keep him rather warmer than most others would be, but he prefered a milder temperature where it was a rather neutral weather. Not hot but not too cold either.

The mare chuckled and shook her head, missing completely the stallion’s move to hide the spheres, not to mention the creeping specter. This green stallion, the horned female decided, seemed a bit grumpy but grumpy company was better than none at all in her opinion. “No, no,” the flaxen Ichsa assured him, “I didn’t come over looking for help, just some company on a cold day.” The Aeri before her looked quite a healthy thing but not her type at all, which was a shame. How was she ever to get back at her father if she didn’t find herself a handsome and thoroughly inappropriate stallion? Ah well, one would show himself eventually and until then there was no harm making connections.

“My name’s Kallisto by the by,” the pale-eyed mare told the leather-winged Nequus with a smile, dipping her head in greeting.

The ghost now unable to be seen at all saw what the green one had tried hiding. He snickered quietly to himself as he made his way to behind the cloaked one. Spying a stray ball he quickly got an idea that would be sure to at least surprise if not scare them. Picking up the ball with his teeth he started to walk around with it in his mouth. With him invisible it just looked like the ball was moving around in the air by itself. Oh how much fun this will be.

Mohan stood silent and listened the strange mare. He was about to make a reply when something caught his attention. There, a few feet away was one of his rubber balls. Was it.. no it couldn't be. He shook his head and looked up again. It was! It was just bobbing around in the air. Well now he'd really done it. Apparently things could get worse, and, they had.

Candycorn carefully followed his master's eyes and saw what he did. Or, what he thought he did. Obviously a ball couldn't simply be floating around could it? He quickly turned his attention to the mare before them to check and see if she had noticed too.

And indeed she had noticed. Kallisto stared at the impossible sight, ears pinned back flat, eyes wide. What was happening? Was it dangerous? Was the green Aeri doing this? She spared him a glance. No, no he looked shocked too. So if it wasn’t him, it wasn’t her and it wasn’t the little Zurn (She couldn’t believe the brightly coloured thing capable of magic) then who, or what, was causing the ball to float. The pretty mare shook her head rapidly a few times; puzzling things out like this was not her strong suit.

“Has this ever happened before?” she asked the caped stallion, her pale eyes still focused on the floating rubber orb.

Mohan was startled at the sound of her voice. He shook his head trying to free himself of the slight trance he was in. "No, no, this has never happened before." He wasn't sure if the shock was still evident on his face but apparently the mare had noticed. "I only do 'cheap magic', none of that real stuff. I honestly don't have any magic powers at all but I've always wished I had. I've picked up a few tricks here and there but nothing like this." Were the balls possessed? Or wait.. was that even possible? Could non living objects be possessed? Mohan had no idea and the zrun beside him seemed to be speachless.

As he walked around them with ball in his mouth he couldn't help but laugh to himself as he saw the expressions on their faces. The joys of being a ghost were endless especially if you enjoyed to torment and scare others. He continued to walk around them a few minutes more before deciding that he had had enough of this child's play. Amusing as it was it quickly got boring. Tossing the ball at the green one's hooves he waited to see what they would do or say next.

As the ball fell to the ground, Kallisto took a half pace forward before pausing where she was and regarding the ball with deep suspicion. “Well... It’s not doing it any more,” she said slowly, a frown planting itself on her pretty face. “What do you think made it do that?” she asked of anybody who might have even the slightest inkling. It wasn’t right for things like that to just float about for ages. Feathers: yes, leaves: yes, dust: yes; small rubber balls: no. She wasn’t the brightest creature ever to live but she wasn’t unaware of how the world worked, or ought to work at any rate. Something here was very odd and the dappled mare wanted to know what it was.

Mohall rolled back towards him. What had made the ball to float? It wasn't light enough to be brought about into the air without a large wind storm and there was hardly a breeze. Studying the small ball he thought about the possibilities. Had it been magic? No it couldn't have been. Mohan only knew tricks and he highly doubted this mare had even the slightest bit of magic. The only possibility was that there was someone else nearby that could be doing this. Looking around however Mohan saw nothing. "There is only one thing that I can think of and it is that there is someone else with us who is doing this."
