Copper woke with a start when Bly bumped into him. It was a good thing the little colt was still pretty light or Copper would have toppled over. Noise escaped his mouth however. "Bly! What are you doing?" Copper said quietly. He knew Mem and Kasi were probably still asleep.
"Oh. Sorry, pa. Forgot you were there." Bly said in completely normal tones oblivious to the fact that half of his family was still asleep. He had also forgotten that his father had asked what he was doing. The truth was that he wasn't sure what he was doing. He was still half asleep.
Copper sighed and shushed his son. "Be quiet, your mom and sister are still asleep!" he whispered. Sometimes he wondered if his son had been born with a brain but had somehow lost it in his basket.
"Aw, come on pa, we both know they sleep like rocks." Bly said still being loud. He recieved another helpless sigh from his father but did not notice. He had now remembered what he was doing. He needed to relieve himself. And quick.

"I am not a rock! " a voice said suddenly, though it was obvious that who owned said voice was still half asleep. The mare had fallen asleep on the ground, as unlike her father and sibling, Sunflash, she was too carefree to bother about any 'possible threat!' She yawned, rolling to her belly, thought not actually getting up.
"I'm a mare, and you're a colt. " Kasi said, though she smiled, sleepy, but meekly. Kasi wasn't the brightest mare, and she wasn't exactly motherly either, and seemed to treat her two foals more like younger siblings than actual son and daughter. Speaking of daughter... "Where's Mem? " She asked suddenly, noticing the filly wasn't present. She wasn't particularly worried, though. Mem was a smart girl!

Looking around for the first time this morning, Copper realized as well that his daughter was not there. He yawned. "Wish she would've told us she was leaving." He didn't mind his children going out alone but usually he liked it when they let him know they were leaving.
"She probably didn't wanna wake you up pa." Bly said coming back from doing his duties. He too yawned and then sat down on his bum. He hummed Mary Had a Little Lamb sleepily. "Should I go look for her?" He asked hopefully. He liked exploring. Finding his sister was a perfect excuse.
Copper shook his head and looked at Kasi. "Good morning." he said deciding to change the subject before Bly too disappeared. He nuzzled his mate happily. "Sleep well?" he asked.

"Yea, she prolly saw something neat. " Kasi smiled, agreeding with Bly, and blinking. "If you want, sure! " Waking up fully and rolling onto all fours, stomping a hoof on the ground slightly, then smiling at Copper. "Yup! Sleeping is nice. " She nodded, contently sitting down like a dog and flicking her tail.
"What're we doing today? "
A muffled voice came from the bushes, cause the grown mare's ears to perk as a filly stumbled out, clumsily and back-first, as if she'd forgotten which way her family was, then lifting her head from the bushes; looking back at them. He fur was terrible and there were twigs stuck to her mane, but it was pretty normal. After all, she played around a lot.
"I'm here! "

"I FOUND HER!" Bly said before anyone could move. He bounded towards his sister and stopped just in front of the bushes. "Mem, you're all dirty." he pointed out.
"There you--" Copper stopped when his son shouted. He chuckled quietly and watched Bly bound towards Mem. "I think she already knows that Bly," Copper said.
Bly didn't pay attention to his father. "Ma, let's do something. I'm bored." he whined.

(( *lost thread* ;; I suck. ))
"I am? " She blinked, looking down. "Oh, cool. " She tilted her head, clearly indifferent as to her state of fur, then blinked at her parents. "Hi! I was 'sploring. " Also known as, run around and pretend you're learning something!
As he brother mentioned boredom, though, she couldn't help to agree. "Yeaa! We should play a game er summat! "
"Hi Mem! " Kasi nodded, then blinked slightly at Bly. What could they do? "Weeeeellll... We coould play tag! Your dad's it, by the way. So run! " Wow, Kasi, you're great at giing warnings! Ever so unpredictable, Kasi shot away from her mate, hiding behind a tree a few yards away and sticking her tongue out at him.

Bly was gone in a flash as well. Leaving his father confused and standing there awkwardly.
Copper blinked and looked around. "Oh. Ok." he shrugged and took off towards Mem with a friendly smile on his face.
"Pa looks funny when he runs!" Bly giggled. He stopped laughing though when he father turned and started towards him. "Yikes!" he shouted and ran towards Kasi. He could hear pa laughing at him. "Mem!" Bly said loudly knowing his sister would come to help.
"Oh come on, don't be such a frady-cat!" Copper said to his son and grinned. Then he turned and ran towards Kasi instead.
((It's ok. x3))
