Time, it was passing her so fast. Just yesterday she felt as if she had stumbled to these lands, hurt, frightened, homeless, petrified, that Ai had saved her. Ai, her mate, love, she cared for him so, so much. She loved him with all of her heart, body and soul. It felt as if just this morning she had found she would have a family, just hours ago, that her babies were born.
But now, now, her babies were already growing up, already juveniles in hte pridelands.
How had time passed her so fast?
What did hte future hold now?
How would her babies be when they got older and older?
Time, was such a strange thing.

Feo had made his normal rounds of the lands, catching a smaller wildebeast this afternoon to deliver to his family. While he knew it wouldn't be enough to feed all of them, it would be enough for a while, and part of his 'pay', so to speak, for his mother taking care of him for so long.
Or well, that was the way he felt. Feo could be teased as being a bit too responsible at times.
He had gone to the watering hole to wash up before finding a place to take a nap. That was definately the last time he was going to try after a healthy young wildebeast. Last. Time. He groomed himself for a while, knowing that there were always others that came and went at the watering hole, before ntoicing a female that seemed a little bit...spaced out? He eyed her cautiously, but didn't know if he should speak, should he jolt her out of her medatative state.

Katana'Kitsune sighed to herself, shook her head and her nose scrunched at hte scent of someone unknown to herself. But always a new face to recognize, new friends to have within the pridelands. Perhaps another cub? Turning her hazel eyes her gaze fell upon a rather bright rich orange pelted male with a rather fine and striking mane. Kat offered him a smile, as if a silent way of calling out to him and headed in his direction.
A new friend, yes, a new friendly face.
"Hello," she said softly, coming closer to him, stopping a bit from him, as to not seem strange. "I'm Kat...I don't believe I've met you before," she said it in a friendly manner, so that he wouldn't think she would just run up to anybody.

Feo's ear flicked when he noticed that she was taking another step towards him. Hm? Well, this was better then a silent standing between them. His red eyes gazed her over when she apporached, trying to see if he remembered her. He might of seen her just in passing, as the Pridelands were so crowded you were sure to see many other members, just never know who they are.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Kat. I'm Feo, son of Shomoro, if you have met her," he replied, bowing slightly to offer her some respect. Having a mother such as his own taught him that respect mattered. "May I ask how you are doing on this splendid day?"

Shomoro, sounded familiar, but Katana'Kitsune couldn't place the name with a face. Darned. Well, at least she was meeting Feo, so that perhaps one day she would spy Feo and his mother together, then she could remember. "Nice to meet you Feo, me? I'm just musing while walking about, stretching my legs," she said with a nod, a smile. Yes, stretching her legs was a good thing, sometimes she felt an ache in hte leg that had been hurt by that black monster.
"What about you Feo? What are you up to this fine day hmm?"
Was he musing as well?

"Oh, I'm just...I guess you could call it musing." He smiled sheepishly, knowing that his thoughts drifted often to foolish things. Now, no one had ever directly called them foolish, but he knew that the words they used implied that. Maybe he was foolish, but sometimes his thoughts would carry him higher than the clouds in the sky. He missed her. He should speak to his mother again though, she should talk some sense into him again. And then he could see his little sister.
"Could you answer something for me, though? How long would you wait for love?"

Katana'Kitsune flicked her tail and tilted her head at his question, what a strange thing for him to be musing about by himself, least what she thought. She smiled sincerely, watched him, was he in love, or torn, did he know what love was yet? Love was so, so special and tender. "Love is a unique and special thing Feo," how to word it, make it sound sensible, able to be understood easily.
"I would wait, until that time came, love is something that is precious Feo, never forget that, when you find your true love, hwo you are meant to be with, its such a wonderful feeling," she said with a no.
Yes, true love, like her and Ai.
How she loved him.

"Wait? Waiting is all I have been doing," he admitted, his eyes flickering towards the water to stare at his reflection. He had grown, gotten bigger, stronger, and much more experienced with life, but he still felt that with Jina beng gone, it was holding him back from really growing up into a mature adult.
"I just hope that I really am meant to be with her. I just...have to wait for her to return."
Vague comments, but he really was only half here at the moment with what Kat had said to him, as it made his mind wander away from himself.

Katana;Kitsune smiled softly at him, and she sympathized with him. She'd be acting the same way if Ai had gone somewhere, and hadn't been back et. She'd miss him terribly, not be the same until he returned, she loved him so and hoped that whoever Feo was waiting for, would return soon. Flicking her streaked tail she stepped closer to him, and moved her head to have her nose nudge under his chin to have him look up, he was younger than her, but he was a fine male indeed, and then she stepped back.
"You will know if its meant to be in time, and when that tie comes, and all is well, life will be grand Feo, if you care for her deeply, just wait, you never know what can happen," and she meant it in the best of ways.
Yes, anything could happen, and happiness could flourish form one moment in time.

Feo flushed a bit when he felt the nudge of the other. He knew what she meant by that movement though. He needed to keep his head up and not swallow himself into the darkness of what ifs and doubt. If he really did believe in her, she would return, and then the two of them could be together. But even so, he was not quite used to waiting for things, so this waiting was on the border of torture for him.
He thought about her words for a moment, letting his mind absorb them as he turned them over and over. Well....what she said did make sense, and gave him a bit of hope. He offered her a smile, slight, but warm. "Thank you," he said, feeling a bit better about himself. "I shall remember that, Kat. Even if I start to feel lonely again, I'll...remember that." He huffed a bit, something almost to a laugh, though it was at himself for still thinking like a foolish cub.

Katana'Kitune smiled and flicked her tail, sat on her haunches, then lounged in the grasses and smiled, peering up towards the sky, the clouds passing overhead. "Just wait Feo, and everything will become clear," just as the sky would become crystal clear blue with the clouds being scarce, hidden away upon a mountaintop somewhere. She was glad she helped Feo seem a bit more calm about things, to be so young and worry of such things.
Time made things better though.
Better things came to those in time, just as Ai had come to her.
Love was a wonderful thing indeed.

Feo's eyes shifted back to the surface of the water as he listened to Kat. He studied himself with those red eyes of his. Really, was he worth it for her to return? He still didn't know that much about her. But she...she had done something to his heart, and it was something that he was confused about. Was he really in love? Or was he in love with that lioness that stole his heart? He wouldn't really know until she returned, and he would just have to wait.
"Thanks, Kat. That helped a lot," he replied with a smile, his eyes moving back up to look at her.

Katana'Kitsune smiled and nodded, her striped fur falling into her hazel gaze, and she smiled strongly and sincerely, "I'm glad for it Feo," she was glad thats he helped him, made him felt better. Today seemed to be a good day indeed. She took a few steps, stopped and gave him a smile, "I should go check up on my little ones (even though they were getting older everyday), I shall see you again, and never let your smile fade away..."
She took a few more steps and started to head towards the den.
Life was so wonderful.

He nodded. "Goodbye, then."
He lingered by the watering hole for a bit longer. He had no urge to return home, and he really didn't have anywhere else to be. So here, he would take his time in playing with his thoughts, mostly the ones involving his family, as well as Jina.
Patience was someting difficult for the male, but what else as he to do?
At least he had been able to talk to someone besides his mother about it, and someone who had given him a bit of hope.
