So. I was going to sleep in but goddamn I needed to watch Avatar.

So.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Okay.

First off, I'd like to comment on Katara's little threatening speech to Zuko. It made me so very scared, on two levels. On one side, the actual story side, it was fcking scary. Zuko must've s**t himself. On the other side, the Kataang vs Zutara war will only grow. There is argument there for both sides. True, one is about 10 times more LOGICAL, but I know that the war will wage on.
Zutara: Sexual tension!
Kataaang: Defending Aang LYKEOMGALOT!

OMG UPSIDE DOWN CITY. I mean, I see the practicality in it, but how the fck did they build it with enough support?!

COMBUSTION MAN DEAD! OH NOEZ! Well... this makes it a little less complicated at least. I wish we could've learned exactly HOW he shot the laser though.

Haha, I'm so proud, I guessed the Gaang's reactions almost perfectly. Katara's was... wow... a bit more than I expected actually but it was still awesome. Girl has RAAAAAGE in her.

The possibility of Toko, hmmm? I laughed grimly when Toph mentioned the fcked up upbringing. And she's the only one who gave him a chance... True, because she'd never really had a face-off with him. Still. I... don't think it'd be a good idea. I think, like she mentioned, she's going to harass him to death. The slightly scared expression Zuko had after she said that made me giggle.

But when he burnt her feet... oh s**t, I was ready to throttle him. I'm like, "If Katara can't heal this, you are A ******** DEAD MAN."

Hehe... Zuko impersonations... They were actually not that bad. xDDDD

That line... "Destiny is a funny thing"... It aaaalways makes me think of happy!Zuko going, "It sure is, uncle!" Creepy. *shudder*

I wish there'd be a bit more hostility between Zuko and Sokka... I was hoping they'd have a hostile relationship that slowly grew into an affectionate one, where they still acted like they hated each other. But, hey, I guess that'll be Katara and Zuko's now...

Now, for the update on the Tokka-Taang war! *dootdootdootdoot* Well, this week was a bit of a grim one for the Tokkan forces. Our scouts counted only ONE discernable Tokkan moment. QUITE a let-down, especially after the growing number of victories in recent battles. However, on the Taang side, there were SEVERAL moments that could easily be counted. Although Tokkan General Butterfly Nebula doesn't like to admit it, she stated that it was a fair battle, and that if the same moments happened with Tokka she would take them as victories.

Okay, now for them speculations.

I was thinking of this a couple of days ago... Right now, the couplings are pretty stagnant. I mean, Katara seems to have completely forgotten about the kiss or something. Anyways. What if Zuko was sort of a pawn (intentional or unintentional) or relationship development? I speak of course, of JEALOUSY. (Oooh, my favourite relationship-development tool.) Say, for example (this is a Tokkan theory, but apply it who whichever pairing you like), Toph started chatting and hanging out with Zuko more, y'know, being buddy-buddy. Beating up on him, teasing him, yada-yada-yada, but they're just FRIENDLY, no romance. Enter Sokka. Say he likes her, mmkay? I know he doesn't, shaddup, I can dream. Anyways. Say he likes her. He wasn't really feeling too threatened, because the only other guy that she talked to as much as him was Aang, and Aang's clearly lovey-dovey over Katara. But, with ZUKO, his romantic attention (as far as Sokka knows) isn't captured on another girl. And Toph's, as far as he knows, isn't captured on one guy. (This is what we call dramatic irony.) So, he's like, "Hey... maybe there's something going on there." And then he gets jealous, and either he does something about it, or in case he's a complete bonehead he REALIZES that he likes her and needs to do something about it. And then, we get some DEVELOPMENT in the goddamn relationship.

Like I said, this is a Tokkan theory, but just replace 'Toph', 'Sokka', and/or Zuko with whoever you want. I really like this theory, because... well, I'm just a big fan of jealousy in story. It makes me happy. I dunno why.

Other speculations...

Zuko training Aang. Any guesses on how this is going to turn out? Zuko seems to be... controlling himself more. This is good, especially if he's going to have to teach Aang how to do so with Firebending. So, yeah, I guess we'll see. One thing's for sure: we get some more Zuko eye-candy soon. Training just isn't the same with a shirt on. The, uh, sleeves might catch on fire. Yeah. *cough*

IROOOOH. Where the ******** is he? -_- I'm guessing he shows up in episode 14. Why? ...I honestly don't know.

Suki! Goddamnit, when is SHE gonna show up?! They can't just tease us like that and leave us hanging!

So... yeah, I can't wait for the next one. biggrin I wonder what it's called?! I NEED SPECULATION MATERIAL DAMNIT.

AN IMPORTANT NOTE FOR CANADIAN FANS: According to AvatarSpiritMedia.net, there will be a 7-episode MARATHON of Avatar on December 28th starting at 6 PM on YTV. Whether this will include new episodes or not, I'm not sure. But, GODDAMNIT, we can't miss it again if there IS a new one!

(Also be sure to check next Friday as well. It SAYS Invader Zim. In any case, watch it... I've seen the Christmas episode that they're showing then, holy crap it's awesome. xDDD Bow dooown, bow dooown, before the power of Santa! Or be cruuushed, be cruuuushed, BYYYYY his jolly boots of doom!)

That episode was EPIC. As in, SHEER ******** WIN.

I think that's replaced "The Blind Bandit" at the top of my list of favorite episodes. It was great, hysterical, and contained tons of shipworthy shippity material.

Hah. Zuko likes hunny. A lot, apparently.

And he gets a "NOT AS MUCH OF A JERK AS YOU COULD HAVE BEEN" award.

I liked the episode. Everyone was amazing in this episode. Don't really care for the three tag-alongs but whatever.

So this is where Zutara makes another appearance. I'm not expecting them to hook up, far from it actually. Katara doesn't trust Zuko, she is only going along with it cause of Aang. No other reason. Sure she might changer her mind and they become friends but nothing more.

That episode was amazing!!!!!!!! Zuko impersinations by far the best part. As a Zutara fan I am very happy that Zuko has finally joined their side cuz that means a better chance at the relationship!! So now I am eagerly waiting for chapter 13, it really needs to show. xd

during katara's little speechy rant thing, i couldn't help but notice how she could pull her face into such unattractive positions. it made it somewhat less intimidating because i was distracted by her "mad face"

It was very strange not seeing Angry Zuko in this episode. I'm used to him throwing at least one temper tantrum in every episode. Calm Zuko will take some getting used used to. Awkward Zuko was frigging HILARIOUS though.

Zutara makes me laugh. Just because he joined up doesn't mean they are going to hook up. I don't see how a death threat could translate into affection.
