Bly trotted through the river close to his home. He looked around for his father. He was usually allowed out alone now but he knew pa could pop into view at any second. Bly was glad it was a bright day. Otherwise he would have stayed with his mother. Like pa, he hated gloomy/dark days. Today was an in between day. Bright but chilly. The river reached up to his knees, but he didn't notice at all. Bly was not one to notice small things...And sometimes, like his mother, he didn't even notice big things. Even things like predators were easy for him to miss which is why his dad always came out of nowhere to check on him. Bly didn't know this though. He thought pa was just weird.

Inkume [Am I still allowed to join? o^^o Sorry about last night. Internet died. I mentioned it in the soq thread, but that thing moves so fast I wasn't sure if you'd see it and I figured since I found this thread I'd check and see if the offer was still open.

Hurriedly picking her way along the grassy hillock near the river, Caelyndei lifted her slender limbs high above the tall tips as the green threads theatened to grab her fetlocks. To tangle her up and cause her to stumble and fall, not that the clutsy filly needed any help in that area, she was certainly perfectly capable of making a fool of herself on her own. In her rush to follow her sisters the little bay and black paint had fallen, slid and lost her way. Nervously her tiny white muzzle was held high, eyes large and rolling as the area continued to grow more and more unfamiliar.
Alone, without her family Caelyndei could feel her heart race frantically. What if she never found her way home? What if... she was lost forever in this endless sea of wild grass so tall she could barely see over the top. Tears bubbled at the corner of her eyes as a misplaced hoof caused her to slide in the slippery bank that lined the edge of the river. Squealing in surprise, Cae tumbled tail over ears down the muddy enbankment of the with a rustle of parting reeds. Aaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyeeeeeiiiii!!
Splash! Dizzying journey ended with a chilly spray as her small body hit the once placid surface in a disheveled mess. Soft fur was slick from the drop. Thin, cloudy rivers of water collecting the wet earth which clumped against her fur and rolling back into the calm currents that lapped past dripping frame. Ow ow ow ow ow...
Caelyndei whimpered breathily, sucking back tears of pain and frustration when she noticed the colt at the opposite side nearer to the opposite shore. Glad to see anyone at this point she hurriedly struggled to regrain her composure, churning the water against herlegs as she paddled towards the familiar youth. B-Bly!! B-Blllyyyy!!
