In a world where everyone has a Demyn, a magical 'animal' that reflects your inner self, and talks, that's always the opposite sex of the child, a group wanted the magic to disappear. They took all the little children they could get, knowing their Demyns wouldn't settle in a true form, that they would keep changing animals, until they had turned 25. The group had the children locked away in the 'North', the coldest, least populated part of the world. There, the children sat restless, only getting to see grown-ups when they fed them or made them go to sleep. Now, the group has moved on, trying to create a better world with the remains of the magic scattering everywhere. The children were soon forgotten, and living in their own village, not knowing if anyone was alive out beyond the "North'. These children need to suvive. For that to happen, they have to stand up to their elders and fight everything they've known their whole life. The only way to do it is keep your Demyn by your side. But childrens' Demyns keep disappearing. And soon after the Demyn disappears, the child is unmoving and is dragged out to the cliff, then thrown into the ravine, for the child is dead. The remaining children must learn to cooperate and trust one another, but some suspicions have gone around that one of them is taking the Demyns to the group. That one of them is a traitor.
How will they suvive?

Saphyr sat cross legged on the hard, snowy ground. Edward was comfortable in her lap, and she fiddled with her glove, bored. Edward was close to sleep, she could tell by his heavy breathing, and she didn't want to wake him. She tucked her hair behind her ear, and stared out into nothing.

Hero woke up in the snow. Salayia was laying beside him, still sleep. He smiled as he saw her and sat up. He looked up at the clear sky. "Another day for adventure."

Saphyr gently pushed Edward out of her lap and stood. She grabbed her Demyn, laying him down inside her tent. Then, she slowly walked back outside, roaming the village for food.

Hero's stomach growled ad he placed his right hand on it and looked down. He then looked over a Salayia and whispered so she would hear it but it wouldn't wake her up. "I'll be back, Salayia (Sah-lay-ah)." He slowly got up and walked owards the village.

Yukio was out in the near by woods hunting with Shiku. "You go left and I'll scare it out then you attack," he whisphered to Shiku as they stalked the deer.

Saphyr slowly headed towards the forest in search for a meal. Edward stood infront of her, shiftting into a wolf.
"Did you think you were leaving without me?" He asked, almost sounding hurt. Saphyr laughed.
"You were sleeping..." She said, walking into the trees. Edward followed.

"Now!" Yukio shouted to Shiku and Shiku pounces from out the shadows missing the deer by an inch the deer bounds away. Five minutes later on the way back to the village Yukio sighs. "You want what the deer has don't you," Shiku says her voice had care in it "Of course that deer can come and go as it pleases but we're stuck in the village all day and night we can barely remember whats outside here.... but one day we will explore and with you by my side we'll both find her." "Saphry coming this way," Shiku replies. "Hey Saphry wacha up to?" Yukio asks as he approaches her.

Fawalked threw the forest a little cold but he was used to it. Fai saw a girl and a wolf and asked " who might that be Kiari?"
" im not sure shall i go see?" replied kiari
" do as you wish." said Fai.Fai had had kiari since he was 2 which was rare but for him it he had gotten her eairly
Kiari ran up to the strange girl and the wolf and sniffed her leg.

Saphry smiled at Yukio.
"Looking for dinner" She replied before the wolf started sniffing her. Edward growled at it.
"It's okay, Edward" She said, putting her hand on the wolf.
"Who might you be?" Edward shifted into a fox, he hated ther being another one of what he was.
