For those with short attention spans. Pick an answer on the Poll. Make a post and tell me which one you chose and why. (It's here because I don't like the look of the writer's place)
For both groups Tell me whether you're thinking it should be:
a) positive b) negative
or
c) you don't care
Tell me why too.
For those with long(er) attention spans
So yeh....it's all to do with a story which basically involves twisting a cliché in a very convoluted way.
It's set in the future, it's ettiquette is basically still courtly/classly i.e. they haven't managed to get rid of nobles and such yet. Yeh, ettiquette and such kinda got left stagnated because they were too busy advancing in biology and such.
I'm kinda scared of the writer place at the moment.
...They look like they bite
Plus, I don't know whether this would be allowed. Hence it's in the catch-all chatterbox-esque place.
I somehow got from there to blood-types and decided that there should be a noble blood type.
Problem is, I don't know which one. So I'm going to be lazy and ask you lot for ideas. xd
If it helps, colour symbolism in this world...well, it makes rabbits look like slow breeders.

AB Rh -
Why? Well, a feudal system only works if nobility is in the minority and the majority is common people. Therefore, the rarest blood type should be considered noble, I'd suggest. Statistical data on blood types: Click!

I define nobility differently. To me, the noblest blood type is the one that is the most giving, the most helpful. In that frame of mind, the obvious choice is O negative, the blood that anyone can receive as a donation.

I'm going with AB (positive and negative... But with Positive even higher in status). Why? I think that the people on top should be able to make the most use of their subjects.

I'm going to have to go with O neg. Since it can be given to anyone, but O neg can only take O neg.

Larmyth I'm going to have to go with O neg. Since it can be given to anyone, but O neg can only take O neg. Technically, O Rh - is the universal donor, but this practice is only applied in emergency situations when there is absolutely no other blood available. The lack of the A or B antigene makes the reaction of the immune system to the foreign blood less severe, but does not prevent it fully.

From what I'm told, we'll give you anything that won't kill you.

AB+
Why? Because they're the universal receiver. They can take all blood types, even negative. It's great (I swear I'm not biased towards this, being AB+ stare ).
You could also try some symbolism with the nobles leeching off the poorer folk, since they can take all the blood... or I'm digging too deep. Your choice.
