 Asika was pissed. Utterly and royally so, and with good reason too! It had only been a few days since she'd met that despicably girlish and submissive little purple ... thing ... and already he had managed to SCREW UP!
It seemed that somehow she was now carrying eggs. Two of them, to be precise. She just knew they were going to make her fat and ungainly and slow. IDIOT male! She hissed unhappily and scraped wings against the walls of the HQ as she stalked up and down the hall, searching for him.
Where was he, where had he gone? Run away, somewhere else, somewhere far? Run from her would he? Well she would find him! Find him and make him pay, make him bleed again, and hurt and cry and plead....

 Porfirio had not purposely run off. No, never. He was more than happy with his new friend Asika, more than happy to submit to all the fun games she came up with. No, Porforio had just gone out for a bit of fresh air. He did, after all, love the outdoors and all it brought with it... communing with doe-eyed woodland creatures, whistling with the birds, getting stung by bees...
He was on his way back in now, anyway, back to his friend and more of their games, and rather happy about it, too.
He rounded a corner and encountered an Asika who was distinctly not happy.
"Hi, Asika!" he said, trying to remain cheerful. "Something wrong?"
He hoped there wasn't, because if Asika was not happy, it would make him not happy, too. His friends were supposed to be happy, and Asika was certainly his best friend. She should be happiest of all, by that logic.

Asika fairly snarled at the other as soon as she saw him, and darted forward to snap at an ear - knowing that would probably hurt. "Of course there's something wrong!" she growled, still chewing on it - hard.
"However did you GUESS?!"

"You're not happy," said Porfirio, all the sunshine-y-yay-ness draining from his voice. And why was she chewing on his ear? Should he be doing that, too? Maybe not. It didn't seem too happy. He didn't try to pull away, though. If Asika was doing it and she wasn't happy, maybe chewing on his ear would make her happy.
"Was it something I did?" he asked. He hoped not. He'd only done what she'd told him to do.

Was it something he did? Ha! Asika made a surprised kind of snorting noise at that, and actually let go of that ear, licking a bit of blood off her teeth. He really was an idiot, damn.
"Something you did!" she barked, snapping at him again but this time not actually biting. "SOMEHOW I seem to now be carrying a pair of ... guess what? You wanna guess, come on guess, little boy..." she half-hissed at him, head weaving back and forth almost like a malevolent snake's.

Porfirio, who had, in fact, been partially paying attention to what had been happening to him the last few days though all evidence said otherwise, got a confused look on his face. He was friends with enough woodland creatures to know about basic reproductive biology. Unlike his new friend, apparently.
"Eggs?" he guessed, totally expecting no further harm to be inflicted on him if he got it right. After all, you couldn't be punished for correct answers, could you? But that didn't make any sense. Why was she so angry if he was right? Shouldn't she be happy? Eggs were happy-making! Eggs were equal to or greater than overwhelming joy!
A self-satisfied grin crossed his face. If he was right, then he was extremely happy with it. And Asika should have been, too.

"YES EGGS!" she half-snarled/half-yelled at him, rearing up and swiping her front feet at his nose viciously - claws out. No, she was not happy about these eggs, thank-you-very-much.
Yes, she knew how reproduction worked, but she seemed to have some idea that he should have been able to prevent such a thing happening...somehow. What can we say? Asika wasn't very rational in the the first place.

Porfirio drew back a bit, but continued to sport a silly grin, despite the fact that quicksilvery blood was dripping down his nose. Asika had a funny way of expressing love, but as long as he knew what she meant that was just fine with him. He wasn't sure why she was so upset, though, so he decided to ask her.
"What's wrong with that?" he asked. Eggs very easily became children, and children were one of the best things of all, after all! The whole situation seemed like one big misconstrued ball of happy. Asika would come around eventually. He was sure of it.

"I'm going to get FAT!!!!" she yelled at that. Fat and SLOW and ungainly... ugh! That was no fun, no fun at all. It meant she wouldn't be able to play after a while ... not with him, or with anyone else... and playing was ever so very much fun.
Plus, it was all his fault, so he should be SORRY! Not asking her stupid questions!

"Only for a while," said Porfirio, if it was any consolation. He could care less - it was a temporary situation, and as much as it seemed like doom to her, he was already thinking of the bigger picture. Eggs meant kits! They were gonna be parents!
"Once you get past that part, it's all very exciting, isn't it?" he asked, rather surprised he had managed to be comprehendible considering the circumstances. He licked a bit of blood off his chin before it could drip to the floor and leave a mess.
But really! This was better than anything he could have imagined! Kits! Yay!
He grinned triumphantly at her and hoped his enthusiasm was as catching today as it usually was.

Asika hissed again at that, snapping teeth and scraping wing-shards together hard to make a rather high-pitched screeching noise. She most certainly was still not happy and she didn't want to calm down ... but what he said made a certain kind of sense.
Eyes narrowed as she thought. After the eggs ... would come kits. Young ones ... little ones that could be molded and taught. Taught to follow after her as surely as she had trained this idiot male.
And more... taught to be like her, to like pain and blood and screaming... yes, oh yes...that might, indeed be nice...

Porfirio cringed briefly, but kept his eyes fixed on Asika. She was calming visibly now, which was good. Even if she wasn't OMGHAPPY yet, he could see the gears turning behind her marble eyes and a hint of a smile on her lips. It was impossible to know what she was thinking, but if she was no longer immediately homicidal and back to being his friend then everything was good.
"Feeling better?" he asked happily.

Asika glared at him for a moment and then huffed, shoulders slumping a bit. Not that she was about to apologize or admit anything at all, but he was sort of right. What came after the eggs could be looooots of fun...
Instead of answering verbally, she gathered herself and sprang at the other with a growling noise that was almost but not quite playful, trying to knock him over and get teeth into him somewhere.

Porfirio couldn't have resisted the tackle if he wanted to at this point. His brain chemistry and his thoughts had doubly convinced him he was in love with Asika and that he oughtn't resist anything she did to him.
Besides, he knew this game, and he liked it.
He landed on his back, wing shards splayed around him. Utterly, utterly submissive, but he loved Asika, and Asika loved him, right? It was only right that he did what Asika wanted, then.

Asika growled at that, rather liking his attitude about the whole thing. And she did bite down, into his throat - drawing yet more blood. But it wasn't (quite) enough to be dangerous, just enough to hurt.
He did deserve to be punished after all ... just perhaps not as severely as she had thought at first...
