Hey, I just started making Wallpapers of my own on the US Virgin Mobile website using my webpage tiles! I've submitted a couple for public use that are still awaiting approval, but if they do get approved I'll get 10 cents of time added to my phone account each time somebody chooses to download it. biggrin I'm already using one of them from my private collection & it looks pretty good!
So, is anybody else making Virgin Mobile Studio V wallpapers or Ringtones?
(State if you're US or UK--I don't think they let us buy from other versions. sad
If they did...I'd get me a Doctor Who ringtone!! scream )

Oh, that's cool! 3nodding Have to agree with you - I'd have a Doctor Who-themed phone if I could find the ringtones and whatnot.
I'm hoping to get one in a few months but I've been saying that for at least a year. Anyways, that's really neat that you're making wallpapers, Eirwyn! And you get paid (in a sense) for them! (no pun intended, seriously.)

You can't use celebrities or copyrighted material, only your own photos & creations. Soooo, you have to get sneaky & creative. ninja
I just submitted one based on a piece of my TARDIS Roundel background tile, with green lighting & shadows on it. I named it "Circles Green". Just circles....honestly! Yup! No claims of it being a wall from a certain show..... ninja I can't help what people interpret it to be, now can I? smile
Maybe I'll add a gold version....Any other color schemes? I couldn't find much in the way of reference pics online of the set with the lighting on it.
Maybe a plain ol' light blue Classic style lighting....

I was thinking more along the lines of if it was officially released like they do with other shows: the wallpaper, ringtones, whatever. 3nodding

I'm willing to bet the UK Virgin Mobile has a Doctor Who ringtone, at least. The US one has junk like "Family Guy" and "The Simpsons".

Hokay, five of my first six wallpapers were accepted for public distribution. Oddly, one that wasn't is purely a kaleidoscope pattern from Paint Shop Pro. They must have gotten something too similar in the past.
Anyway, all three of my Roundels--*ahem*--CIRCLES made it, in variants of green, gold and light blue, so if you are in the US & want a TARDIS wall on your wallpaper, I've got a near facsimile for you! Also one of Abstract Space in bright colors (I'm using that one myself) and one called Mountain Sky with mountains in front of a deepening sunset with a few stars in the sky that I created as part of a webpage tile.
I'll let you know if I get any more accepted.
