What's your strategy on Offense, west coast, pound the ball, or deep ball?
Defense, 4-6 man rush every play, mix it up, zone cover 2-4, man coverage 1-2 deep safeties.
Personally i mix it up depending on what i want to give the offense if anything (i.e. force them to take the 3 yard completion and burn the clock)
Offensively i run west coast and pound the ball, depending what the defense is giving me. I will take 3-4 yards rushing the ball every play, and you jam the box i look for quick outs, not a lot of deep stuff cause steelers have no insane recievers, ward is better short and makeing the catch while getting hit.

I love the Madden franchise. I have Madden 08, and I got it for the Wii, because it feels like you're in the game more than ever.
I personally like to pound the ball from the I-formation, because I'm great at running the ball. I usually do that in serious competition or in the season mode.
When playing with my friends, I run the ball a lot too, but I often toss in a deep pass, halfback pass, or fleaflicker in there.
Oh, and like most other Madden players, I usually go for everything on 4th down wink

Dude-LAP I love the Madden franchise. I have Madden 08, and I got it for the Wii, because it feels like you're in the game more than ever. I personally like to pound the ball from the I-formation, because I'm great at running the ball. I usually do that in serious competition or in the season mode. In my house we have a rule on not going for it on 4th unless a real coach would (ie; 4th and 1, down 3 in the 4th and so on.) I feel it adds a little more difficulty and fun to the game. Although I suck at it.

I run it down your throat...then let it fly a little..on D i blitz on 1st and 2nd down and play some killer coverage on 3rd.............then run the punt back on your butt.

stimpackaddict Spread the field with 4 WR and 1 TE for a few plays , slip in a back when they start to drop more into pass coverage and use a draw run from the shotgun, toss in a few play action here and there, utilize the TE down the middle. They are many flaws in Madden. If you use a PA (play action), you can drop your QB far back to avoid the sack, chuck the ball up to any receiver downfield, and they will make the play, more likely than not. I love the franchise mode where you create your team and stadium, along with roster. I love playing online or with friends, too.

i dont really care about formations but throw it short for about 5 yards most times and u should get a 1st down everytime... well at least i do

On Offense i like everyone to get their touches, i dont really have a gameplan, Usually call a play in the huddle, then look at the defense, then either stick w/ that play, call a hot route or audible. Im pretty good but, ive never really played anyone worth a crap. You hardly ever see one of my wide recievers with more than a hundred yards i try to get my starters a few receptions. I go more for Singleback Big Wing and usually on passes got to TE and on runs.....well just run it. But i do use all the formations in a game, At least once.
