This is our setting. (I used to work here) It's just arranged differently. The tables are the same except the one on the dance floor. There's a DJ System on the stage. To the right, in the corner, is the small bar. Pop, coffee, wine, and assorted mixed drinks served there. To the right is the food. Just a bunch of finger foods. Deli/veggi trays, cheese n crackers, and desserts (including a chocolate fountain just because they're so cool despite being a pain in the butt to clean at the end of the night).

There's gold and silver garland on the railings to the stage and along the stage intertwined with white lights. The tables have white table cloths trimed in gold. Two tea lights per table in festive little holders.

First guest to arrive was shy little Lilybell Chen. She is a priestess in the Order of the White Dragon, from the country of Lubinia. Her long, white hair is pulled back with two braids and she wore her ceremonial kimono with a white and gold dragon embroidered on it. She shivered from the cold and made a note to find some different shoes next time she ventured out because sandals were not smart in December.

She spotted Lady Katrina and went over to her. "Good evening, my lady," she said with a polite curtsy. "I am honored to have been invited."

((an interesting side note: Lubin is actually a city in Poland. But, I suck at naming things so I just added the -ia and made up my own country))

Marissa Sanderson entered the hall. She put her coat on a hanger in the coat room located in the lobby and entered the hall. She looked around with delight at the beautiful decorations. "Hmm... needs something else, though." She said a small chant and waved her arms and the walls looked as though they were covered in a silvery layer of frost. It shimmered in the chandelier light and Marissa smiled to herself as she marveled her own work. She spotted Lilybell and Lady Katrina by the bar.

"Good evening, ladies," she said, curstying to both. She looked around. "Are there no cute guys at this party?"

Marissa beamed. "Thanks," she said. She helped herself to some hot chocolate. "This really is a beautiful place. Doesn't look like much from the outside. I thought it was gonna be all tiny. But I guess you really can't judge a book by its cover."

Lily nearly jumped out of her skin when Tara attacked her with a hug. She turned and beamed and embraced her old friend once again. "Oh my gosh!" she exclaimed. "It's been far too long, Tara!"

beau climbed the upper staircase unnoticed .... she was not dressed for the ball, being too poor and felt lonely and afraid. Her intention was to scope out the ball, enjoy the fun from afar, and then creep home .... unnoticed .....

She wiped a tear ......

Lady Katrina noticed Fleur arrive. She gave a gracious smiles to the other girls and said, "Excuse me for a moment, ladies."

She walked over to where Fleur stood and gave a gentle smile. Despite being a vampire, her eyes held a motherly kindness and she was skilled at smiling without her fangs showing so not to frighten anyone. "Welcome, Fleur," she said. "I'm so happy you could join us. You look lovely." She gestured to the other girls. "Come, join us. I'll have no wall flowers at the party."
