In case we needed to have these recorded when we tried for the hybrids, I went ahead and fished out all the HanataroxEmiko RP replies from before we started using the guild. =3

A gray arnulf wandered around an abandoned, human, city. The only thing she could hear was her feet hittinf against the cracked, stone, pathway that she walked along. Her ears twitched as a gentle breeze rolled by, carrying the smell of salt water. There was an ocean nearby that could be seen from the city. However, the arnulf's attention had not been brought to it until now. A small lighted up on her face. Her family often went here for her brother, who was rather attached to the water.
The arnulf stretched out her wings and yawned. She had come here hoping to maybe learn a bit more about humans. She had taken a deep interest in them ever since she discovered her mother's quest for wanting to be able to read.

Hanataro, a black and white hebisune, peeked around the corner of a building out of the alleyway he was standing in. Once he noticed that the coast was clear, he scurried out onto the street. As he started to walk down the road, he looked down to his paws, completely missing the fact that there was another Kimera nearby. He stopped suddenly as the breeze blew by and looked in the direction it was coming from. With a nervous chuckle he said, "Gee, I didn't realize that I was so close to the shore... I didn't mean to come this far out today."
Hanatro spoke to himself sometimes to ease the near silence of the ruined city. Even being timid as he was, there was just something unsettling about complete quiet.

Emiko blinked and turned around. "Did I just hear someone?" She looked around. "Hello!" Her voice echoed off the walls of the old buildings. Her green eyes continued to wander until she finally spotted the hebisune. She tilted her head to the side and just stared at him for a moment, debating on whether she should really be talking to him.
Her father had warned her repeatedly not to talk to anyone she didn't know without asking about them first, but her father had always been overly paranoid. Besides, she was an adult now. She could make her own choices. The old arnulf would never know. "Hey over here! I didn't think anyone else knew about this place."

Hanataro nearly jumped out of his skin as Emiko's voice came out of nowhere. The hebisune spun around quickly to face the source of the voice, nearly loosing the white pack on his back in the process. He straightened the green-strapped sack and listened to her speaking, his heart still racing from the surprise.
"Er, hello there!" Hanataro raised one of his paws in a sort of wave to Emiko as he looked her over. Upon guessing that she probably wouldn't be the type to try and play some sort of trick on him, Hanataro smiled and yelled back over to her as he stepped forwards a bit.
"I didn't really know about it, to tell the truth. I kind of just wander around sometimes, not really knowing where I'm headed." He blinked once, suddenly realizing that this probably wasn't such a good idea. But that didn't matter at the current moment.

Emiko smiled and curiously wandered over to the other. Her eyes quickly landed onto his pack. It looked like something a human would have. "You don't know where you're headed? So you're kind of like a traveler?" She questioned, seeming very interested.
She sat down and wagged her tail like an excited little pup. "What is that thing you have there? Did you get it from a human?" She tilted her head to the side. "I came here to learn more about humans..."

"No, not really. I mean, I have a home, but I just go around sometimes looking for food and things like that..." He gave another nervous chuckle as Emiko's eyes seemed to go past him and onto the white bag on his back.
The hebisune was a bit surprised to hear about Emiko's interest in humans. Hanataro, himself, thought that they were kind of interesting, even if they seemed kind of dangerous to be around.
"Actually, I can't really remember exactly where I got this thing. I think it might have been where a human used to live, but there was no one in guarding it... You want a closer look?" He slipped his arm through the strap, bowed his head, and allowed the bag to slide over his ears. Carefully sitting it down on the ground, he looked back up at Emiko with a meek smile.

"Oh I see. You're a bit more like me then I guess. Though you probably have a bit more freedom." Her ears folded down. Her father could be so strict with all his rules and everything. Her eyes seemed to light up as the bag was placed before her. "Oh yes! Thank you!" Her ears perked up again and she curiously sniffed at it, nudging it a bit with her nose. "What's it used for do you think?" She asked. Emiko couldn't figure it out.
Tekkianna
"Well, I'm not sure if it's what it's actually meant for, but I use it to carry things around. That line there, down the middle, can open up if you pull the tab at one end down to the other." He pointed to one end of the zip-up pouch and then to the other with a little smile. "It's just a little hard to do it sometimes since the tab's so small." Hanataro blinked a few times as he stared down at the bag, and then turned his grey eyes back to Emiko.

Emiko squinted her eyes as she spotted the small tag and tried to gently hold it with her teeth so she could pull it. It took two tries before she could hold it perfectly. She gave it a tug and opened it up. Her eyes widened and she looked to Hantaro. "Can I look inside? You don't have anything secret that I shouldn't look at in there do you? The arnulf didn't want to prey into anything she shouldn't.

Hanataro shook his head vigorously and said, "N-no! I don't keep anything personal in there. It's just some herbs I found that do pretty well to help wounds heal. I use them kind of often because I'm clumsy." He gave yet another shy chuckle and nodded to the bag, welcoming the arnulf to poke around in there all she wanted. He had never specifically tried to hide his meager skills for healing from anyone before, since it was one of the few things he thought he was good at.

Emiko smiled brightly and dug her nose into the bag until she sniffed at one herb she found interesting. She pulled it out gently and placed it on top of the sac. "What is this one called? If you don't mind me asking. I know very little about herbs, but they seem interesting. You can do so much with them these days."
Tekkianna
"Oh, I don't mind you asking. Uh..." Hanataro stared at the plant that Emiko had pulled out. His black and white tail twisted as he tried to recall the name of that particular plant. 'It's on the tip of my tongue... Aagh! I can't remember! What should I do? I know! I'll tell her what it's for!'
"Well, I can't remember what it's called... But when you tear open the stem and let the juice out on a wound, it relieves pain. And then you can use the leaf to cover the injury if it's small enough, since the juice will help it stick for a little while... Er, I'm sorry." One of his paws slid in a bit closer to him as he let out a small sigh. What kind of healer can't remember a simple name?

Emiko shook her head quickly. "Don't be sorry! It's what it does that's important after all." She laughed a little and swished her tail from side to side. The little bit of information might be of more use to her then he might be thinking. "In fact... do you remember where you found it? I looks like something I could use at home. My brother gets into a lot a fights lately while he hunts. He's a bit of a... erm... hot head?" She couldn't think of the right word.
Tekkianna
"Yeah, I guess you're right." His large ears perked as he recieved the praise from Emiko, as he was quite relieved that she wasn't angry.
"Oh, yes! I remember that. Heh... Let's see..." Hanataro flipped his tongue out for a moment, tasting the saltiness of the air once again. Upon taking a quick look around, the hebisune nodded. "It's not that far from here, actually. I could lead you to where a pretty big patch where the plant grows." He smiled and tucked the herb back into his bag and leaned down to close it with his teeth. After working it onto his back once more, he glanced in the direction of an easy route to the place where that plant grew.
"Do you want to head there now?"

Emiko nodded. "That would be great. I'm sure my brother and father would appreciate having that stuff around especially." Her tail wagged behind her happily. What was the big deal with talking to strangers anyway? 'Looks like dad was wrong. Hanataro is nice. I know who is okay to talk to...' She thought. "Yeah lets go. Oh, and if it isn't any trouble do you think you could teach me a little more about them? So I can use them correctly and such. But only if you want to..." The arnulf hoped she wasn't asking to much from someone she had just met. Her longing to learn was getting the best of her.
Tekkianna
Hanataro cracked a grin as he started to walk down the cracked street in the direction of the plants' location. "I can teach you anything you want, as long as I know about it myself. I don't mind at all! Like, the best way to pick them... You should pull out the whole plant if you can, and then just tear off the roots so it's easier to carry. That way, you don't have to worry about wasting any of the juice inside. If you do break it, though, you should try to carry it at an angle so none spills out. Getting home with an empty stem wouldn't help... And it would probably make someone very angry." He shuddered at the thought of this, since people that got cross with him had a tendency to use violence.

Emiko giggled a bit after hearing his last comment. "I doubt they would get angry at me. Empty or not they would probably just give me weird looks at first. My family knows very little about medicine. My dad likes to have us all very... distant." She rolled her eyes at the thought of her father. She needed to stop worrying about the family while she finally had some time to herself. "My mother might understand... " Another giggle escaped her. "Sorry, I'm sort of rambling on about that. Anyway, please go on."
