  • FIGHTING STYLE
    She uses the elven sword form Bil'aken Die'na (Bladed Dance). It uses dance, acrobatics and incorporates the elven straight blade. It can be compared to Taijiqun, specifically Tai Chi Jian.

  • WEAPONS

    • 'MADYRN THOSI' or 'Shadow-Fire' - Elven Long Sword (3.5 ft tip-hilt )

      Guided by Maximos, Teira drew this dark blade from the shadows. A blackened match to Sierra's 'Elven-Fire' Sierra bears a thick black ring on her hand. This ring represents 'shadow' and marks her as the sword's chosen champion. It will reject any who does not bear the mark.

        Elven-Fire's Shadow-Fire's Attributes:
      • Crafted by the most skilled elven mages and weapon smiths. It is imbued with the ability to nullify moderately leveled elemental attacks.
      • It is charmed so that it will never rust, notch or break.
      • Like most elven metals, it is light weight,
      • The hilt is an elaborate elven weave made to symbolize wings, that fly and carry the user through battle.


      As it is a shadow copy of her original sword the attributes are the same, save for two--

    • Maximos
      crossing though Shadow does not go without it price. The blade was very much Shadow Touched. Where once it manifested blaze, it now manifested essence. Teira's very being, her spirit, her burning passion would fuel its now ebony flames. Shadow Flame born of dark emotion, flames that can lash at even the most hardened and pyro-immune individual.


    • Shadow's Kiss: The sword's very existence is a manifestation of a raw essence. Natural in it's nature, Teira can draw from and manipulate that essence, shaping it to her will. ( it is not what allow's her manipulation of shadow, but rather a present, natural material to sculpt without having to cast any spells. The ability to shape shadow is made easier by swelling in a shadow body or 'shell'. )



  • Tail Spine - Armour/Weapon

    • Encases her tail
    • jointed armour with serrated spines along it's length.
    • Has barbs at the end of the tail that act like a metal flail.
    • If impaled by her tail, the victim will find out that the barbs go in easily but twist, tear and shred coming out as they anchor themselves in flesh and innards.


  • Sydrol Shadi - Throwing Blades (4'')

    - She carries 10 of these, 5 belted to each thigh beneath the skirt of her battle kimono for easy access.

  • Daggers - Set of 2 daggers (6'' )

    Made prominently of a Silver/Steel alloy, much like Elven-Fire... The silver in the blade promotes slower healing of wounds in supernatural beings such as were creatures. They are placed in her boot tops.


  • NATURAL WEAPONS

    • WINGS
      • Offensively: Sierra will use her wings to beat her opponents with hammering blows that can easily stun them or break bones with their crushing force. Her wings are also amazingly adept at acting as extra limbs and 'wrapping' around arms or legs or even torsos and ensnaring her prey.
      • Defensively: Her Feathers, while although soft to touch are as resilient as dragon scales and therefore make a natural shield to wrap about herself, should she need it.


    • Tail: Her tail acts as a snare and snakes out to wrap around limbs... but the tip her tail is hard and sharp as any blade making it twice as dangerous.


  • ABILITIES

    • ENERGY MANIPULATION - Innate/Learned Ability

      • Partially a psychic trait, but mostly innate ability.
      • If elemental or energy based attacks are cast at her she will manipulate them... UNLESS, the energy is personal energy (ex. Ki or spirit energy), or if the opponent holds onto the energy and guides the attack 'til it completes it's course. In which case she would have to wrest the control from them which takes too much effort/exertion. In such as case it is easier/more effective to counter it.
      • She can manipulate natural, unclaimed energies or 'orphaned' energies and feed them into her own shielding and attacks to strengthen/reinforce them.
      • Shielding is performed by 'weaving' threads of elemental energies. It can be like a second skin or it can expand in a sphere-like form with Teira at the center point. (invisible unless viewed in some form of 'spell-sight'.)


      :: Note :: Teira does not relinquish control of her energies and in the case of Fire and Darkness elemental Shadow/Shadow flame attacks... they are drawn from a personal store of energy and created of herself. Thus they CAN NOT be manipulated, only shielded against or countered.

    • A DIFFERENCE Between Teira's Shadow Flame and Sierra's Golden Flame, the lavender flames can burn things that are normally not flammable.

    • HANDICAP: As Teira, most of elemental abilities have had a door slammed shut on them. Any element aside from her shadow/shadow fire, she cannot call upon and manipulate unless it as already existing on the field. IE: An elemental field bonus or her opponent casts it.

    • RUNES - Learned Ability

      Will often inscribe runes inconspicuously and then 'tap' them at the opportuned moment for various effects, generally the release of a explosive/concussive burst of energy.

      (This will be the only kind used in the tournament.)


    • DORMANT

      Teira's Psychic, Empathetic and Illusionary skills are dormant. However, she is still resistant/immune to such skills as the ability is not gone, only inactive. She cannot project, but in turn she cannot be projected upon.


  • WEAKNESSES:

    • As always she is weak against Light/Holy Magicks. Given her current shadow body, She has an increased sensitivity to light. Both natural and supernatural. If she comes in contact with Light/Holy magicks, depending on the potency, she may have an 'allergic reaction'.

    • Due to her race, she has extremely sensitive hearing. While this can be a bonus, it is more often than not, a curse. She is highly susceptible to sound based attacks. Also, crowded places with a lot of people/commotion will also cause problems for her.


  • ITEMS

    • Elven Armor - Opting to only wear pieces of her armor instead of the set, she dons only the haubergeon, bracers, tassets, greaves and sabatons. The haubergeon is sleeveless, made of elven mail and worn beneath her battle robes. The bracers protect her fore-arm and the top of her hands. The tassets are light plate armour that protect her thighs. The greaves and sabatons protect her shins, heels and the tops of her feet.

    • Earplugs - kept in a small pouch, at her waist.


  • A closing note on Mortality and Endurance:
    Maximos
    Teira would learn she was not made of flesh and blood. This was a shell wrapped around a soul. It could be cut, it could be impaled, it could be given "fatal" injuries, but death would only come if she succumbed to her memories of the flesh and believed herself dying or dead. She would see she did not need food, or sleep, or drink. And in the later weeks that would be tested as the duo would fight for days on end.

    Equipment:
    Magical bracers that enhance either physical or spiritual self upon command (Verstand and Korper), half-greaves, tail guard (looks like a short skirt or belt with section that fits over top of tail), rope necklace, cloak. The armwear, footwear, and "skirt" all look to be part of a set-- silver in color with gold lining. necklace is silver, and obligatory cloak is black. Other than this, wears black slacks. If he must, he can don sandals and a [if he has a choice, varsity gray] tee.

    Abilities (Broad):
    Species: Three-state shapeshift (Negative, Transitional, Feral / Werewolf, Humanoid, Wolf). Negative is the strongest, and while fast for his large size (roughly 10 feet tall) he commonly restricts himself to less technical moves. Transitional is the most human state so he'll do any and everything. He's much quicker and though a large wolf (1.5 times larger than the norm), Laz is a relatively harder-to-hit target in Feral. He keeps the armament on through state shifts. His "default" state is Transitional.

    Typical cryomancy: Ice can be created from atmospheric water vapor, usually for quick barriers. One notable attack he has uses this method. He'd rather attack with his hands and feet, so has yet to actually throw a ice ball or anything. Liquid water can be controlled, but only after he's put some effort into almost freezing it. The greater the water, the more effort-- he'd take the time to divert the flow of a hydrant, but wouldn't dare try such a thing against a waterfall.

    Ice attacks have little effect on him, and he's known for using what's called Negative Gain to absorb the ice energy from them, melting solid structures where they stand and even challenging someone on their mastery of ice. However, he's not able to ignore laws of nature; an ice-energy explosion will still knock him back if it succeeds. It just won't hurt that much.

    Tearing the sky: Sending aura through claws both on his hands and feet leaves white tear lines in the air for a very short couple of seconds [unless otherwise stated]. The energy trail has the same slashing effect as his physical claws and will disappear either by contact or energy dissipating.

    Intro/Extroversion of aura: The temperature can be altered relatively easily by Extroverting his aura as long as he's not in a fire zone [volcano, burning structure]. When he's allowed to change the temp, it falls below freezing in a manner of seconds. When faced with fire abilities, he will sacrifice stored aura for protective Introversion, creating a cold zone around his body that extends only a few centimeters outward. Usually, doing anything with protective Introversion will quickly drain his energy. He's usually in passive Introversion in that he keeps his own body cold [making him cold to touch] but without affecting the atmosphere.

    In combat he can remain relatively still to focus, gather energy, and perform attacks that call for a higher energy cost than he previously had with a technique he calls "Ante Up," AKA "charging the super bar."

    Alpha Shift: A rare genetic and mental disorder touches an unlucky few and in Esteria, having it is considered being legally insane. Emotions dip to extremes-- ASBlack can throw a person into a rage, making them seem as a berserker. ASWhite makes one depressed, giving up on hope and quickly becomes a suicide risk. ASGold almost never happens, but elation in the face of all adverity is the result. Mood swings are frequent.

    Medium bands: The left side of his body shows off what appears to be a tattoo, but is actually a medium written in Esterian that allows him to control his abilities better. It has grown, signifying a sort of "level up" scheme. The current bands (levels) are PRIME, LOCK, FORCE, MIND, BODY, HEART, ELENEA, and OBLIVION. LOCK and FORCE are always active, as they have to do with his unstable mental state. Others can be unlocked upon command.

    PRIME: the catalyst for acquiring new bands.

    LOCK and FORCE: one was used to completely suppress Alpha Shift, while the other was used to allow a small bit to leak through into the psyche. LOCK is currently "broken" due to events of last year's HOH, and one last-ditch effort of his mind to hold on to some semblance of togetherness resulted in Lazenca's four voices-- speaking are the three sides of Alpha Shift and normalcy. To completely unlock Alpha Shift (as what happened last year), he must be Triggered, called by a specific name of insult. [ooc: Lazenca's is the word which describes mix-breed canines.]

    Due to the state of his mind, Lazenca cannot be magically forced into a mental state of berserk, confusion, charm, etc- of any kind ("Divine Lock"). Mental attempts to direct his feelings and the way he sees reality will always fail. However, mind bullets, mind reading, and all the such is open.

    MIND: Aided by the bracer Verstand, Lazenca can temporarily increase his spiritual ability... he can perform stronger aura-based attacks and mount better defenses of the same. However, his physical body will suffer during this period in that he will tire very quickly if running, he'll be physically weak against strikes and holds, and if he has wounds that have stopped bleeding they will reopen. [one post duration max]

    BODY: Aided by the bracer Korper, Lazenca can temporarily increase his physical ability... his speed, strength, and agility will increase. However, his spiritual body will suffer in that the cold air he carries around him will cease, he cannot heal through the healing factor, and he will have absolutely no defense against energy/magic attacks. The greatest downfall will be seen if this is used in a fire zone or against a fire attack. [one post duration max]

    HEART: This enables remote healing, good when a random guy on a random street in Barton screams for a medic.

    ELENEA: Named for the Esterian princess of ice, this signifies a high command of his ability, though not mastery. Combat wise, this allows Lazenca to switch elemental affinities, though he sacrifices all affinity to ice. This has only happened once (GTB, vs. Omi) so the threshold of the elemental switch is extremely weak and the revert happens quickly. [one post duration, usable only once in this tournament]

    OBLIVION: Deals with Unsane have linked Lazenca to a spire of immense elemental power that Lazenca can't contain within the Medium itself, as told by his Medium spreading across the entire left half of his body in protest. It has to be called upon, sacrificing something to the being within the spire that will be collected when the threat is put down (example: sacrificing hunger results in days of starvation, no matter the amount of food eaten, sacrificing eyes results in days of blindness). Overuse can lead to permanent loss of memory and brain function (see: Mono Myst).

    It was with the aid of OBLIVION that Lazenca and Unsane froze Barthavos Desert.

    [ooc: oblivion will NOT be used in combat. it's listed so you know what the other band is for since it can't be taken off but is undeniably there... not looking for a secret something to flag me on.]

    Abilities (Specific)

    Fangs of the Arctic Wulf: Attack with hands, creating aforementioned lines into a cross. Can be thrown (projectile) or by canceling into Maelstrom, a wall of lines can be built. This can be charged, with a x4 tearing inches into all but the hardest and/or magical metals.

    Locomotive Frankensteiner: The opponent is grabbed about the neck with Lazenca's feet and depending on momentum and circumstance, may be thrown into the air, forward, or straight down into the ground with an up-and-over flip.

    Backlash Grenade: After charging energy into Lazenca's fist [usually the right], he thrusts the hand forward. Heralded by the sound of gears winding down, a chorus of shrill screams is released with the charged energy before the open palm. Lazenca doesn't have to physically touch someone to have the attack hit- if a target is in front of him and is in range of the blast radius [~5ft x 5ft x 6ft, l/w/h], then it will be flash-frozen in a block of ice and incapacitated. A longer charge creates a larger blast radius and thicker ice. He can keep the ice as-is, or shattering it all through a implosion caused by a release of energy (which harms he who is in the cage, but minimizes damage to himself standing on the outside).

    This Tech's effects are changed when there is no direct target ("Area Backlash Grenade"). The Area Grenade flash freezes the area before/around the user, but the secondary explosion is unable to be used. Also, the presence of water by flowing spout or rain has been shown to dramatically increase the Grenade's power, which retains its ability to explode when aimed at a target ("Aquatic Zone Backlash Grenade").

    Hurricane Lazenca This move requires water be in abundance, be it underfoot, falling from clouds, or in pipes that can be opened. Circling hands takes the practice routine of water play and makes water spiral. Lazenca then spins to become the eye of a small hurricane that if performed near the target, will pelt him with forming blades of ice before it all freezes in place. An opponent caught will be unable to move until the structure is forced to erupt by Lazenca's will.

    Glare: After a period of defined staring and pointed concentration, atmospheric liquid in that area freezes into a crystalline formation that immediately erupts, releasing all energy freely into the air. The impact from taking a Glare is said to feel like taking a double-barreled shotgun to the attacked body part, and packs as much stopping power. The move is especially hard to catch because of the speed (about a second for the crystal to be created and explode) and it's never telegraphed past stopping and staring.

    Equiptment and Abilities.

    Equiptment –

    Quarter Staff – Found in Strata, the mysterious weapon harnesses flame into a blade should the need arise, but usually works well enough as just a basic weapon.

    Bionic leg – A gift from Sierras people, it’s a shell that covers the damaged portion of his leg. He’s not had a lot of time to get used to it and it shows on uneven surfaces, even with the amount of balance Sun has. Other then that, it’s well maintained and more often then not, keeps him upright.

    Abilities –

    List of Majik!!!111…:coughs: Sorry.

    Standard ball of fire: Because it’s amusing to watch him spit one up like a lugie. In all seriousness though, a standard ball shaped flame that’s mobile, made with a simple blood rune against an object, such as a stone, in case of emergencies. Concussive in nature.

    Fire Blade: The staff that Sunstrike carries can be lit with a controlled welding torch effect to both ends, should the need arise. This can be turned off and on, but like all magic, tends to take it’s toll, and is also hazardous when it comes to the no killing rule. Truthfully he’d rather knock people over the head.

    Wisp: A simple form of light (harmless)

    Runes: Going back to last year, these are charged words, usually written in Sun’s blood that can be manipulated into blowing up portions of the landscape in a grenade type fashion, without the courtesy of a pin or three seconds for the poor guy writing them out. Once it’s written it blows up…usually Sunstrike. The bigger the rune the bigger the boom.

    Fire Resistance: I know you guys are tired of this, but I might as well put it down. He’s got some odd chemistry and it means a very high tolerance to anything fire in nature. But it’s got to be fire or dry heat. Anything H20 in nature is going to send him loopy regardless of heat.



    Last Note – The change.

    We’ve pretty much said that HoH is sometime in the future, giving Sunny ample time to pick up another salamander, or fire elemental to feed off the abyss in his mind.

    He’d be in far better control, or in a mutual pact with the second creature. Though still, any change would be as something very final, and probably bordering on the disqualifying range of abilities.

    ((I think it pretty much needs to stay as what it is guys. You all know me well enough to know that Sun isn’t really Sun unless the salamanders there, and that I don’t throw it about like some huge threat, it’s just part of the make-up, and while it’s disqualifiable as being a kind of summon, it’s not erm…haxx or unbeatable.))

    Physical Prowess:

    Unbeknownst to even himself, Silver is a genetically engineered meta-human
    with exceptionally high ratings in strength, agility, and stamina. Bordering on the human maximum for each stat, he is capable of smashing
    stone and other solid materials with his bare hands and feet, sprinting and
    dodging at great speeds, and able to survive the most severe beatings.
    Daily training keeps him in peak physical condition, while his body does
    the rest itself naturally to keep him in good health.

    Silver is engineered with a heightened immune system and high metabolism.
    This makes him virtually immune to all forms disease (except supernatural
    and magical), as well as poisons. This plays a part in his increased
    endurance, as well as gives him (with the proper consumption of nutrients),
    an accelerated rate of healing, which is especially effective while resting. Though, it is not so great that it will have any REAL effectiveness while IN battle. The most he will get in the heat of combat would be for small wounds to stop bleeding on their own more quickly.

    Weaknesses:

    With superior physical stats, Silver's mental abilities suffer in the
    trade-off. Though his Wisdom is moderate enough so that he is aware of
    himself, opponents, and attacks, he is unfortunately very dense and lacks
    proper social graces. He often charges head-long into battle, and puts
    little effort into avoiding or blocking minor attacks and will usually just take them, figuring his body is resilient enough to withstand it and that he can come out on top with just guts and raw power. Even though he holds fearsome fighting potential, this major drawback usually leads him to defeat the majority of the time.

    Also, with his high fortitude and above average reflexes, his will is
    severely lacking. Silver is susceptible to mental attacks and mind-altering
    abilities, such as charm or fear effects.

    Special Abilities:

    Silver was originally engineered with the ability to psionically generate
    and control silvery-white flames using his body's own latent energy field,
    known as ki or chakra, granting him the ability of pyrokinesis. This ability caught the attention of Arena Champion Vahn.

    Kyonuske ninja training under the tutelage of Vahn taught him to enhance
    this ability somewhat, but the flames were still relatively weak, and did
    little more than add additional fire damage to his attacks.
    The major boost came later in his training, when Silver himself was gifted
    with the Blood of Efreet, changing his body forever. Interestingly enough,
    while his body didn't exactly readily accept it, the painful transformation
    occurred with relatively little complications. Anyone else would have burned alive from the inside out. Silver, however, now could produce and control flame with 'flame glands, much like his mentor, Vahn, but seemingly without the side effects like the flammable blood, as his own body seemed to keep it in check.

    Since then, Silver's flame has developed a more "explosive" quality than
    Vahn's, delivering more of a fiery concussive blast than straight burning
    flame, much like Vahn's flame would later exhibit. It can be used to
    deflect projectiles, or even change Silver's momentum while airborne, or
    possibly increase it while moving in one direction. Like Vahn, he also
    became more resistant to fire damage.

    Known Abilities:

    * The ability to project destructive blasts of fire in the
    form of concussive bursts, or moving waves of flame.
    * The ability to project fire from his arms and legs when punching or
    kicking.
    * The ability to engulf his arms and legs in flame in order to burn
    opponents with his punches or kicks.
    * The ability to telekinetically manipulate and control any fire or
    flame created by him. He usually possesses complete control over the size,
    intensity, temperature, and shape of the flame at will. He can extinguish
    large amounts of unwanted fire within his vicinity that he created, or
    amplify said fire to the degree of a raging inferno.
    * The ability to generate shields of flame, capable of deflecting or
    incinerating nearly any material or substance, including water, on contact.
    * The ability to mentally control the ambient heat energy within his
    immediate environment, increasing the temperature of the surrounding
    atmosphere if he wishes.
    * The ability to cauterize an ally's injury.
    * High resistance to the effects of fire and heat.
    * Various signature techniques involving manipulating his flame in the
    ways listed above. Some adapted from Vahn's style, some original.

    Signature Techniques This Year Include:

    Silver Bullet – A strong, quick moving, forward-dashing fist attack, augmented by flames.
    Silver Bullet (EX) – Like the normal bullet, but with the elbow. Comes out quicker and is more easily cancelable into a super, but requires more energy to use.
    Dynamite Upper – Standing uppercut attack. An explosive wave of flame is projected just beyond the fist.
    Silver Cyclone Kick – A flying triple kick, alternating legs with full rotations of the body in the air.
    Silver Heat Hawk – An aerial axe kick, flames are projected from the heel and brought down on the opponent from above.
    Silver Vulcan – A rapid flurry of standing punches, Silver has trained his arms to sustain the attack for minutes at a time if need be. Each individual punch is weak, but a prolonged assault can wear down even the toughest defense.

    One Inch Bullet – DM. An extremely close range attack, Silver detonates a powerful compacted explosion just beyond his knuckles directly into an opponent,projecting the concussive force in a line directly through them.
    Mangum Silver Bullet – DM. Super-charged version of the original, Silver rockets forward with such speed he becomes a blur as his body is engulfed in flame from his fist.

    Silver Vulcan Magnum – HDM. Explosive version of the normal Vulcan, just as fast, but each punch is augmented with a small fiery blast, making them much more devastating. Akin to multiple normal Silver Bullets in ultra-fast succession without the range.

    Silver King Revolver – LDM. A two-fisted, Double One Inch Bullet, usually aimed at the chest and abdomen, requiring being just as close as the single. Capable of great internal injury. Silver’s current strongest single attack, it requires a lot of energy under great duress (low health) to pull off.

    One of Silver's prized possessions is an ebony wooden sword crafted for him by the famous weapon smith Dante Decker. The sword is solid black, appearing from a distance as if it were ceramic or a solid piece of obsidian, it is actually crafted from a specially selected super-dense wood. Though primarily a training and self-defense weapon, the sword is of superior enough quality to hold it's own in combat against metal or other weapons, easily parrying fine steel. It is said it is even capable of cutting objects as if it were steel, though requiring great will power and concentration, Silver has yet to master that particular ability. Having been forged with Silver's own blood, even though it is wooden, the sword is resistant to fire damage and will not burn like normal wood. This allows Silver to wreath it in his own flame, to deliver devastating flaming strikes with it.

    When not in use, Silver usually wears the Bokken threaded through special loops on the back of his jacket so it does not get in the way of combat, or
    simply threaded through a belt loop on the left side of his pants, in imitation of an actual katana.
